Walking back to their resident, Ellis was just about to go into his room when Ray called.

" Hey Ellis what do you think about the kidnap of the clan descendants, do you think it's any of the clan is responsible for their disappearance".

" Am not sure that a clan can be so bold to kidnap both Nicholas and Amanda unless they are prepared to go to war against the two clan which is likely impossible replied Ellis as he contemplated about the matter.

" I don't know if the other clan can be trusted but I kind of feel like who so ever that is involved must be someone from the eight great clan" said Ray.

" Do you think the eight great clan are the only power beneath the heavens" asked Ellis.

" Of course I know there are other organizations out there that have incredible strength that even the eight great clan can't put together" replied Ray with an awkward laugh.

Even since Ray came into the world and possessed the body of the hunter, he has learned a lot about how the world operates and spending his time with Ellis has also widened his knowledge.

" Since you know that there are other power out there, then why do you still think that one of the clan is involved in their disappearance, asked Ellis with a frown on his face.

" That is because the clan are more fussy" replied Ray.

" Ah just go to sleep, I don't have the time to argue with you" said Ellis with a sigh before walking into his room and shut the door close.

" Can't even have a little chat with you eh" mutter to himself before walking to his room and yell before he close the down.

" Don't forget we have to meet up with the group early morning ".

" I should be the one to tell you about that" replied Ellis.

After sleeping for the day, the next day the group met up by the entrance of the guild and went out to a solitary place where they could sit and discuss their quest privately.

" So is there any news about the missing members of the clan" asked josh as he looked around for a reply.

" There is nothing from my side, replied Roland.

" Well I was kind of exhausted from yesterday, so I decided to have a rest, said Ellis.

" Same here with me" added Ray.

Josh sigh and turn to look at the only person that has not said anything from the start.

" What about you Gray, were you to get anything asked josh.

" I actually managed to gather some information When I went to the pub to get some drink, and it turns out that the two descendants of the Patton and the cayson clan are not the only ones that are missing replied Gray.

" You mean others are still kidnapped which means the clans are not involved in this, said Ray.

" Of course not, there is no way they are going to offend two clans, not even one. How did you come up with that theory anyway" asked josh to Ray.

" Well I kind of get the feeling that they are even one way or the other, said Ray with a serious look.

" Anyway since we now know that the clan members are not the only one that are being kidnap, things are going to be a lot easier this time around" said Gray while looking around the group before continuing.

" So I want you all to keep a watching eye and if you discover anything strange please try and notify the group and don't go after them on your own"

" So what are we supposed to do now" asked Ray.

" What else can we do other than search for clues" replied Gray.

" Is it possible to take on a quest until we find their whereabouts" Ray once more.

" As long as you are already on a quest, you are not allowed to take on another quest" replied Roland this time around.

" Too many rules, now I will have to wait until the completion of the quest which we don't know how long it's going to take" said Ray.

" Remember don't go doing things on your own, said Gray before walking out on them.

" And where are you going this time around Gray asked Roland when he saw Gray walking out.

" I am going out to relax is there a problem with that replied Gray.

" Relax my ass, I know you are going to the pub to get drunk like you usually do" said josh with a chuckle.

" I don't see where it is a crime for me to get a drink, what Ray said and decided to contact the rest as they order more drinks to kill time. Before long the group begin to come in one at a time.

" So what did you find out for you to call us out him" asked josh.

" Well Ellis and Ray actually have a clue to where the kidnapper could be, and we are about to move out " replied Gray while taking a gulp of his drink.

" How sure are you that we will be able to find them there and by the way isn't the curious wetland a dangerous place for cultivators to be so how was the kidnapper able to enter and leave as he pleased" asked Roland.

" That will have to be a problem for later" replied Gray as he took his drink before getting up and lead the group for the curious wetland wood. Gray.

" We should be discussing how we are going to complete the quest and here you are thinking about getting yourself drunk" said Roland with a frown.

" What is there to discuss and beside it is easy to gather information at a busy place, so the pub is likely the best place to be replied Gray.

Ellis was already getting bored by Gray and Roland words as decided to take his leave with Ray following from behind, and before they could walk out of the premises, Ellis suddenly remember that they don't have a way to communicate with the rest and decided to asked only to be told to shoot an energy blast out the sky which they will be using as signal.

Leaving the guild premises, Ray couldn't help but asked as they are walking into the street.

" So where are we going right now".

" To investigate of course or are we just going to sit down and wait for the location to be known to us" replied Ellis.

" Okay if you say so, so where do we start the investigation from" asked Ray

" Well we will have to start with the blacksmith that his daughter went missing early this morning, replied Ellis.

They both went to the blacksmith shop and knock on the door before waiting for a reply from the inside.

" Looks like they are not open for business today" said Ray and he was just about to say something when the door crack open and dwarf who was covered in bandages came into their view.

" Yes wait is it that you want asked the blacksmith in anger after opening the door only for him to see the outfit the two youngsters before him were wearing and said.

" Wait you guys are from the hunter guild right".

" Yes, and we heard that your daughter went missing this morning, so we are here to asked if there is any clue you can offer us" replied Ellis.

" There is nothing much to say since I could not see the face of the kidnapper and when I tried going after him, he suddenly went into the curious wetland wood before I was attack by the kidnapper.

" That should be more than enough for us to locate the kidnap" said Ray.

" Come let's go and inform the others about this" said Ellis before bowing to the blacksmith, and they took their leave.

Making their way to the pub, Ellis and ray met up with Gray who was having a drink and sit down.

" So what were you guys able to find out" asked Gray when he saw the two taking their sit without being granted the permission to.

" Yeah we went to visit the blacksmith that his daughter went missing this morning and after asking some few questions from him, we discover that the kidnapper ran into the curious wetland wood, and it could be possible that the hostages are in there" replied Ellis to Gray question.

" That's really some clues you guys have there, have you tried contacting the others" asked Gray.

" Not really, we decided to inform you first and hear your opinion before anything else, replied Ray.

Gray smiles when he heard what Ray said and decided to contact the rest as they order more drinks to kill time. Before long the group begin to come in one at a time.

" Well Ellis and Ray actually have a clue to where the kidnapper could be, and we are about to move out " replied Gray while taking a gulp of his drink.
