"Alright guys let's head to the cayson clan and carry on with the investigation said Gray as he led the team toward the location of the Cayson clan.

" Eh, will it be okay if I also wait outside" asked Ellis

" Sure why not but make sure you hide well" replied Gray with a joke.

" Hahaha I will" said Ellis as he begins to laugh awkwardly.

" It's kind of feel strange for a weak meatball like you to offend two people from a great clan, are you sure that you are not telling us anything, asked Roland as he looked at Ellis suspiciously.

Ellis became speechless by Roland words and was just about to think of what to say that will make the team losing up a little, but that's when Ray bout in and said.

" Maybe when he tried to force himself on Amanda, Nicholas was the one that caught him in the act, and he is trying to avoid him so that he won't be rat out ".

" It could be possible, and since Nicholas and Amanda are really close to each other it's much possible replied josh who couldn't stop himself from laughing.

" Very funny guys, now can you be on your way" said Ellis.

" I am going with the guys, so you can wait for us to return, said Ray before following the group into the cayson area.

" Leaving me here all by myself mutter Ellis as he watched the group walk away.

When the group got to the entrance they had led to the cayson little city, they were shock to see that there was no protective forcefield they that is shielding them from the outside world unlike the Patton clan.

" Seem like the cayson clan are confident in their strength for them not to set any protection barriers around the place" said Gray as he studied the entrance.

Although Ray was not with them when they went through the Patton clan forcefield, he could feel that there was really something wrong for there not to be any force field Ray had to ask the system.

" Hey system do you do think there is any force field around ".

*ding*

[affirmative, there is an invincible force field surrounding the whole place that the human eyes could not see]

" Don't expect why the others thought that the cayson clan are a lot different from the Patton clan, only if they knew that they actually have a force field" thought Ray.

While Ray was still in thought the right of the team were still looking around the place and by the look of things they are already becoming restless to go in. Being unable to withstand the waiting any more, josh turn to the puzzle Gray and asked.

" Hey gray are we just going to stand here or bash into the place"

" Be patient josh, don't you feel like something is not right about this place" asked Gray turning to josh who stood by the side.

" Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place, there is actually a force field that is quite active here, but the problem is we can't see it" replied Ray when he saw how suspicious Gray feel about the place even though he could not see the force field that's in place.

" Nonsense, there is no force field here" said josh to Ray.

Ray chooses to ignore him as he walked to the side and pick up a branch before poking it forward and instead of the branch to go through when it was move fore, it began to release smoke and in the next minute the branch caught fire and burnt to ash instantly. Turning back to josh who has his mouth open in shock, Ray asked him.

" Do you believe me now".

" My, to think that we actually plan to go into the city without being invited" said Gray.

" How did you know that there was a force field in here since we didn't make any contact with it" asked Roland while looking at Ray in amazement.

" I didn't, I was just curious to how the cayson were not protecting themselves from some ambush, replied Ray to Roland question.

" Good thing you chose to try out with the branch else we would have been the one suffering from serious injuries if not dying" said Roland.

" So now that we know what we are dealing with, how are we supposed to get in there" asked Ray while ignoring Roland.

" What else can we do if not say our name and identity like we did with the Patton clan people, replied Gray to Ray question.

Gray Clare's his throat before saying at loud with energy wrap together with the sound that came out of his month. After revealing their identity, it didn't take long before a young man walking out of the force field and met with the group of hunter.

" Greetings fellow elders, how may we be of help to you" said the man that walk out of the force field.

" We are on a quest to find the whereabouts of miss Amanda of the Patton clan and the clues we have show that Amanda was here in cayson replied Gray as the leader of the team.

" Wait a minute, did you just say that miss Amanda is still not home" asked the man in shocked.

" Yes what if I do" replied Gray with a serious face.

" Am sorry for that, it just that when miss Amanda was about to leave, my son Nicholas was the won that see her off and from then till date my son has not yet return said the man.

" Wait if Nicholas is your son then you must be called Jerry cayson of the cayson clan" asked Gray when the identity of the man standing before them was actually the clan head.

" Yes, please I want you to find my son replied clan head Jerry

" Don't worry about a thing Mr Jerry, since Amanda has being missing it is likely that the two of them were capture by the same person. So what we need right now is clues that could help us with our investigation" said josh.

" By the look of things I have nothing much to offer that could help in your search, said clan head Jerry.

" It's okay clan head, we will think of something but try to get to us just In case you receive any information about them" replied Gray.

They bow to clan head Jerry before leaving and after walking back to where they left Ellis, Gray was just about to signal him to come out, but before he could, Ellis has already come out of his handout as if he was already expecting them.

" So how did the search go" asked Ellis the moment he came out.

" Not good, it seems like Nicholas is also missing and according to what the clan head said, my guest is they were both kidnap by the same person replied Gray.

" Now things are getting really nasty" said Ellis to himself before asking Gray.

" So what are we going to do now that we don't know where they could be".

" For the now we head back to the guild to get some rest then think of a way" replied Gray.

Before Gray could lead them back to the guild, Ray suddenly said.

" What if the person behind this is actually from the clan".

" I doubt there will be someone in the clan that is strong enough to take Nicholas and Amanda as hostage" replied Ellis.

" Then what about outsiders" asked Ray once more.

" Maybe and it has to be someone that knows a lot about the two of them" replied Ellis.

" Why kill your brain cell over this when we can easily solve it after a little rest" added josh.

" Alright guys since there is nothing left for us to do you it better we get out of here, oh my all this talk is making me thirsty for some liquor" said Gray as he walked pass the group and begin to head for the direction that lead back to Hiepia empire.

" Hey Ellis do you think other clans are responsible for the missing of Amanda and Nicholas" asked Ray in a voice that only Ellis can hear.

" Am not sure since the Cayson clan don't usually goes into conflict with other clan, it will be very difficult to tell" replied Ellis.

After walking for a while they were finally able to reach the guild where the team went their separate way, but before they could lead, Gray told them to meet up in the guild entrance very early in the morning before he stormed off.
