" What does the letter say" asked the curious straw bandit #2?

" While don't you see for yourself" replied the leader of the straw bandit while passing the letter to straw bandit #2.

Taking the letter from their leader, straw bandit #4 came over, and they begin to read the letter together and after reading to some extent, they both had a shocking look on their face.

" You mean all this time that we have been searching the whole of Hiepia empire, that good for nothing young master of the Gibson clan was actually hiding in the hunter's guild" said straw bandit #4.

" That's correct and by the look of things, the difficulty of the mission has risen to another level" replied the leader of the straw bandit.

" What do you mean by that chief" asked straw bandit #2

" You don't get it do you" said straw bandit #4

" Get what, come on tell if you know what it is" asked straw bandit #2 while looking at the two.

The leader of the straw bandit sigh before saying.

Since he is now in the hunter guild, it is likely that he's already a hunters".

" Can you go into the hunters guild and take a life" asked the leader of the straw bandit while sending a digger gaze at straw bandit #2.

Straw bandit #2 kept quiet when he heard the question that was directed to him. The room became quiet for sometime before the leader broke the silent with an order.

" I want you to go and gather information about the Gibson young master and his rank in the guild first thing in the morning" said the leader of the straw bandit to straw bandit #2.

" Yes chief" replied straw bandit #2 while keeping his head low.

The next day, after arising from their intoxicated state, Ellis said to Ray who was still laying on the bed unwilling to get up.

" Hey get up, let's go meet up with Gary before he left for a quest".

Getting off the bed, they do their stuff before heading out to the guild where they met jenny at the counter as usual and asked for direction only to be told to head to the battle arena where they saw Gray sitting in the front row with a middle age man who was watching a battle going on in the stage.

Calling out to Gray while they make their way to the front. When Gray saw them walking towards him, he smiled and said to them when they were close.

" What took you guys as long to get here".

" Hahaha, nothing out of the ordinary" replied Ray while laughing awkwardly.

" Anyway meet the captain of the squad, sir these are the two new rankers I have been telling you about" said Gray with a warm smile on his face.

Ray and Ellis bow slightly to the captain and the captain nodded in response before saying.

" I have heard a lot about you two from Gray"

They just smiled in return to the captain while he continues speaking.

" And since you want to join the squad, why don't you two show me what you are both capable of" said the captain of the Raging Dawn.

" How are we supposed to do that" asked Ellis who was confused about what the captain is talking about.

" Simple why don't you two take on the twin brothers in the next round of the tournament" replied the captain with a smile on his face

" But captain don't you think ugh" Ellis groan in pain from being stomp by Ray when he was just about to persuade the captain.

" We'll do it captain" said Ray with his leg still on Ellis's.

" That's good to hear, now why don't you go and register for the next fight" said the captain.

They nodded before going to register for the next round before going back to take a sit by Gray and begin to watch the fight that's going on in the stage until eventually it was time for them to head down to the stage for their match.

" All the best guys" said Gray while Ellis and Ray were going down the stage.

" Alright it's time for a royal special, it is going to be the twin brothers from the moon breeze squad against the new rankers Ellis and Ray" said the announcer.

" Hey isn't that the apprentice hunter that give kart a beat down the other day he was here" said a hunter.

" Yes it's him and who is that meatball standing beside him" said a hunter to his friend.

" I don't know, but I hope he don't drag the other guy down with him" replied the hunter's friend.

" Do you think they will be able to win this match" asked the captain to Gray.

" I don't know, but I'm going to place my bet on them winning" replied Gray with a happy smile on his face as he left his seat and ran to place his bet.

Seeing that Gray is already gone to place his bet, the captain place his focus on the stage while waiting for the announcer to give the signal.

" You fool why did you allow to this asked Ellis while glaring at Ray as he put his knuckle busters on.

" Are you mad trying to talk your way out if it will only make things difficult for us" replied Ray while looking at their opponent.

Their opponent were two huge men who were on their squad outfit while holding a short blades in their hands.

" Forget about it, right now all we have to do is defeat this two to prove that we are more than qualified to be in the squad" said Ellis while smashing his fist together.

" What do you want to prove, that you are going to be beaten down to mock one of the twin brothers with a laugh?

" Not only that brother, I can see they are shaking in their feet especially the fat one there" laugh the other.

" Don't worry soon enough we are going to see who will be shaking in fear" said Ray while removing his blades from the scabbard.

" Look kid, just because you were able to beat kart has really got you high but don't worry uncle here will get you back to normal said the twin brother.

" Can we start the match now" yell Ellis to the announcer.

" Are you really in the mood to be beaten by us, while don't you wait a little" mock the twins once again.

They choose to ignore the twin and waited for the announcer to call the shot. After waiting for sometime the announcer finally announce for the start of the match.

" Now get ready for some beat down" yelled Ellis like a beast that has been unleashed from it cage as he charged at one of the twin brother while throwing a fist at him.

" Mind where you point that fist of yours unless you want it to get chop off" replied twin brother #1 while stabbing his short blade at Ellis fist.

The whole crowd of hunters is expecting to see the chubby guy fist chop of but what happened next stun them for the moment the fist and the short blade came in contact with each other instead of Ellis fist falling off, twin brother #1 was sent flying by the punch and smashed into the wall.

" Looks like Ellis trained his physical body to such an amazing level, and it won't be long before he breaks through the mortal shackle" said the captain of the Raging Dawn as he observes the match.

Gray only nodded before while keeping his eyes on the match.

" Wow look how your brother was easily sent flying with just one punch after all the boosting" said Ray to The other twin brother with a smile on his face.

" Shut up you swam" replied twin brother #2 with rage as he launched at Ray while placing his blade by the side and when he was close, he sent a slash at Ray mixed with energy. Ray chuckle before slashing his blade forward too but without adding any energy.

Being pushed back by the force of the attack, Ray manage to stable himself and sent a kick at twin brother #2 only for the attack to be blocked. Since its attack are not walking, Ray dash at his opponent while holding his blades behind his back. Ray perform a somersault while sending a double wind slash at his opponent.

Not expecting Ray to make that move, twin brother #2 was not able to defend himself from the attack and sustain a wound by his right arm. Taking a step back, twin brother #2 grunt in pain while covering the cut with his hand.

" Hahaha, looks like the swam just got you wounded" said Ray with a mocking look on his face as he look at the blood twin brother #2
