Walking out of the courtyard with a smile on his face, Brodie walked to the pub. When he got to the pub, he begins to search around the place in search of some until eventually setting his sight on four men sitting on a table while wearing a plain black hood.

Making his way to the table, Brodie clap his hand together and bow to a middle age man. The middle age man took a sip of his wine before saying.

" What is it this time around Brodie" asked the middle age man.

" Am sorry for disturbing you master fray, but my client just received a message that says that the target is hiding in the hunter's guild in Hiepia empire" replied Brodie.

The middle age man went silent for some time before saying to Brodie.

" You can go back to where you come from, I will let the boys know about this new information".

" Master fray my client would want the target killed this time around to avoid unnecessary trouble" replied Brodie.

" Brodie I said you should go back to where you come from, and my boys will take care of it or are you doubting our abilities" asked master fray.

" Not at all master fray" replied Brodie.

" Good, Now you can leave" said master fray.

Taking a bow, Brodie walked out of the pub.

" Have a message to sent to squad be right away and tell them to get the job done as soon as possible and come back" said master fray to the right-hand man before taking his drink.

Back in Hiepia empire, Ray and Ellis went to the guild to turn in their quest. Heading straight to jenny who was busy working in some quest.

" Hey jenny, take a look at this" said Ellis with a smile while placing the Serpent Crux Amulet in the desk.

Look at the Serpent Crux Amulet that was placed in her desk with a shock on her face.

" You actually took the quest that was met for squad members" replied jenny still in shocked.

" Yes, ain't we kind of amazing going solo" said Ray with a smile on his face.

" Awesome my ass, don't you know you could have be killed by those savages Orcs" asked jenny while looking at the two of them with anger.

" That is what I told him, but he refused to listen to me" replied Ellis while looking at Ray.

" Hey don't look at me like that will you, didn't we come out of it with our lives intact" asked Ray.

" Yeah we did, and we were this close to getting killed by those orcs" replied Ellis.

" But we came out of it alive, so there is no need in worrying okay" said Ray.

" What if you both lost your lives there" asked jenny.

" Then we would die trying" replied Ray.

" This is the problem am always having with you, you never listen" said Ellis.

" Okay I head you alright, now can we get the reward" replied Ray with a smile.

" Sure you can have your reward, your tags please" said jenny with her stretch towards the two of them.

Taking out their tags for jenny to give them their reward, they waited for her until she was done and returned the tags back to them before saying.

" If you guys really intend on going on a dangerous quest, I will suggest you both join a squad at least that way you will have a higher chance of coming out alive".

" Thanks about the advice jenny, we'll think about it" said Ellis before keeping his tag.

They left the guild and went to the pub for some drink. After ordering for the attendant to serve them drinks, Ellis turned to Ray and asked.

" What do you think about what jenny said about joining a squad"?

" I have also thought about it, but the problem is will they be able to take us on an important quest since our realm is really low" replied Ray with a serious look on his face.

" Why won't they and beside we can also pick a quest on our own and since we are now one-star hunter, others will be willing to go with us" said Ellis.

" Have you forgotten that majority of the hunters knew about our record in the guild" asked Ray with a light chuckle.

They were just chatting while waiting for their drink when Gray came and sat with them.

" Hey guy where have you been all this while" asked Gary with a smile on after taking his sit.

" We were on a quest and recently came back" replied Ray.

" That's nice, I heard you guys talking about the squads a while now do you mind telling me about it" asked Gray.

" It's nothing much just that the quest we just completed was a really dangerous one for two people and jenny was angry with us for going alone" replied Ellis as he recounts what happened in the Orc cave and being chased by the Orcs for a whole day.

" That's why it's important you join a squad" said Gray.

" That is what jenny also said, but the problem now is that if we were to join a squad, we will also be going on a quest on our own since no one would want to risk their live tagging along two low levelled foundation realms like us" replied Ray.

" You are wrong about that for any quest that is taken by a squad member would have to be presented to the captain or the vice captain of the squad for permission to assign a few comrades to go with" said Gray.

When Ray and Ellis heard this, they were surprised and at the same time happy, turning to Gray Ray asked excitedly.

" So you mean to say we can actually get members assign to us in completing a quest".

" Yes and not only that and if you are willing to join the Raging Dawn squad I am willing to take you to along whenever I have a quest to complete. And believe me when I say this, if you want to join the Raging Dawn squad then you must be prepared to take on a dangerous quest" replied Gray with a smile on his face.

" Then it is settled them, we are joining the Raging Dawn and I hope you will stand by your word" asked Ray with a serious look on his face.

" Believe me when I said I will be taking you two along beside during that C Rank quest we took, I became fond of you guys and now that you said you actually went to the Orcs cave and stole the Serpent Crux Amulet without being shows how capable you two are" replied Gray with a smile before yelling at the attendant to get them some drinks.

" So how can we apply to the squad" asked Ellis.

" Normally you guys would have to go through some test before will you be allowed into the squad, but we can skip that part since I will be the one who will be recommending you to the captain directly" replied Gray.

" Well that will save us all the trouble of going through the test which will be stressful. Thanks for the help Gray" said Ellis with a smile.

" It nothing, I have already spoken about you guys to the captain, and he is quite impressed, so you decided not to join a squad I will still persuade you" replied Gray while laughing out loud.

Ellis and Ray also laughed about what Gray said. Looking at the table and seeing that their drinks are not yet served, Gray turned once more and yelled at the attendant to get their drink.

Meanwhile, in the Inn, three men were sitting in a dark room with their ragged clothes on while wearing a straw hat. They were the straw bandit members that pursue Ray and Ellis to the Hiepia empire.

" Chief it has been up to eight months, and we are still unable to locate that damn young master from the Gibson clan" said straw bandit #2

" Yeah chief and since we could not find him why don't we head back to base, you know how dangerous for us to be here in Hiepia empire" added straw bandit #4

" There is no way we'll be able to go back if the mission given to us is not completed or else that mister that gave the job will do something awful to us for failing" replied the leader of the straw bandit with a sigh.

" But it is difficult finding them in a big place like this" said straw bandit #4

" There is no other way out if these boys" replied the leader of the straw bandit.

Straw bandit #2 was just about to say something when a tiny portal manifested and a folded paper cane flying through it and landed on the ground. The leader retrieve it and read it only for him to smile and burnt the paper to ash before saying with a sinister smile on his face.

" Looks like we found our prey".
