Ignoring the annoying middle age man, Gray continued to asked Ellis.

" Since you know what they are doing, I believe you must have a plan out of here".

" How can a mere QI refining realm cultivator ever think of defeating those freaks that even you are finding it difficult to handle" replied Ellis with his hand spread out in defeat.

" Please spare me all that nonsense, do you think I didn't hear how you two were able to defeat Jerald" said Gray while giving Ellis an odd look.

" Actually it was due to cheer luck that we were able to get out of that fight with our head intact and beside that fight was two against one replied Ray this time around.

Gray became lost of what to say when he saw how they have landed their self in trouble. Turning to look at the middle age man that has been getting on his nerve lately.

" Seem like we will have to fight it out with them no matter if it causes us our lives" said Gray to the team, in an attempt to boost their moral.

" We don't have to lay our lives for them to slay" Ellis voice out all of a sudden.

" So you do have a plan" said Gray and Ray in concurrently.

" It not more of a plan but a way to reduce the number of deaths on our side" replied Ellis to both Ray and Gray

If you don't have ideas that will help us in our current situation then shut up and stay at the back instead of interrupting the leader when he's speaking" said the man that was angry with Ellis for not giving them information about the quest.

" One more word from you and you will not have to worry about them killing you, for I will do it myself replied Gray in anger on how that hunter can go on picking on Ellis even when there is trouble.

When the hunter heard Gray words, he quickly shut his mouth. Seeing that all was good again, Gray turns to Ellis and asked.

" What is this plan that you speak of"

Turning his attention back to Ellis, Ray was hoping to hear Ellis plan.

" Since we are only down to seven men, it's better if the four strongest in our team go after those men while the remaining three will watch their back" replied Ellis.

Hearing the plan Gray began to think it through and after sometimes he nodded in approval to the plan before turning to the team.

" You all heard what he said right, so who is ready to fight with those men ".

" It better that fight alongside than to stay at the defensive side" said Ray while stepping forward.

" What is a mere QI refining realm cultivator like you think of achieving by fighting with them if not death" said a hunter.

" It was with this mere realm that we were able to defeat Jerald so shut up" Ray said to the hunter.

" That's enough guys, anyone else" asked Gray while looking at the team, and it didn't take long before two hunters step forward.

" Since it's settle both of you will have to handle the other man while we take care of that annoying Man" said Gray with a serious look on his face.

Ray and the hunter comply with a nod before getting ready to charged at their opponent. Seeing that they have already chosen their fighter, Ellis walked up to Ray and said to the remaining two hunters.

" You two will have to look after Gray while I look after them"

" How can you shield than all on your own" said a hunter while looking at Ellis.

" Don't worry about me, I have my means" said Ellis with a smile.

" You two should try not to get too far from me while facing him" said Ellis to Ray and the hunter.

Seeing that the team of hunters has split into two team, the middle age man smile and said to Gray.

" Hey boy, are you finally ready to fight or what".

" Oh we are fighting alright" said Gray before running at top speed while the three hunters follow him from behind.

When Gray made his move, Ray and his pair also run towards their opponent.

" Hahaha, that's more like it" said the middle age man before bringing out a blade getting ready to attack Gray the moment he is closed.

Getting close to the middle age man, Gray Send his spear at the middle age man but was blocked by his blade at the same time, the hunter that was attacking along side him slash at the middle age man only to be blocked by his very own palm. and when Gray tries to attack again an attack came out of nowhere and was heading towards Gray, but before it could get to him, the attack was deflected by one of the hunters that was watching his back.

" Hahaha, now lets see what other trump card you have" said Gray while sending attack at the middle age man.

Just like how Gray was attack by an unknown force so also was Ray's group also facing off with an unknown force but due to Ellis being their shield, they were able to fare well against their opponent.

After many attempt to take the hunters out by surprise with no success the other two members of the bandit came out of their hiding and joined the fight making things more difficult for the hunters.

" Hey you go help to kids out" said Gray to one of the hunter that was teaming up with the other to take out the other member of the bandit.

Ray and Ellis were busy holding their ground against the bandit and though he was in the foundation realm, he was a lot weaker than Jerald making the battle a little more easily for them. Sending an attack at the two, the bandit couldn't believe he could not hurt two mere QI refining cultivators.
