When Ray brought out the damage head of Jerald the crowd of hunters kept quiet and begin to look at Ray and Ellis as If they are looking at monsters.

" How were they able to kill Jerald" said a hunter

" Most have been that he was seriously injured and was on the brink of death when they found him and took his life" said another member of the hunter guild.

" If you think you can take him on when he is on the brink of death, then why didn't you all pick up the quest from the start" barked Ray at those annoying hunter.

All this time the commotion was going on, jenny was busy looking at the head place on her desk and after confirming it was really Jerald, she got up from her post and went to climb all the way to the third stairs where the guild master preside and was out of sight. After sometime, she came walking down with a notice in hand while walking to the quest board to paste the notice before walking back to her post.

When the members of the hunter guild saw jenny paste a new notice, they all rush in towards the quest board including Ray and Ellis.

" What five thousand contribution points for recovery of the stolen orb from the bandit, isn't this a C Rank quest" asked Ray while looking at Ellis who has a serious look on his face.

" There is no doubt about it since it will be against three expert that could in the same level with Jerald or higher" replied Ellis.

" You still haven't claimed your reward for the quest you just completed" said jenny while looking at the two.

They both wall up to her and place their tag in the desk for her to receive before returning it to them. Checking the tag to see the amount of contribution points they earn they discover they were able to earn five hundred point each.

Being tempted by his greed, Ray asked jenny.

" So what is going to come of the quest now that it's a C Rank".

" Only one-star hunters and above are allowed to take on the quest" replied jenny.

Turning to look at Ray, Ellis saw the smile in his face and frown before saying.

" Don't you even think about joining the quest".

Ray shook his head helplessly before replying to Ellis.

Nodding in agreements to Ellis word, they were just about to walk out of the guild, but that's when they saw the crowd of hunters giving way. Wondering while the crowd would split. Ellis was just about to ask those that are closer to him, but that's when a manly voice was heard.

" A C Rank quest of this level should be an easy task for the squad to handle" said a muscular man dressed in a red armor and behind him stood six men who were also dawned on the same armor as the muscular man with the cultivation stage of a foundation realm expert.

" Come on gray, let's go meet up with the others" say one of the men.

" But with this quest we'll be able to rank higher than the moon breeze squad" said gray.

" Why are you competing with the moon breeze squad when you truly know there is no way the raging dawn squad is no match for them" replied a member of the raging dawn squad.

Seeing that the muscular man is interested in taking the quest, Ray walked up to the man name gray before asking.

" Excuse me sir, are you attempting to take on the bandit".

" Yes, but I need to gather my team before going" replied gray.

" That's good to hear, is it okay if my friend and I tag along with you and your team" asked Ray.

" And who are you to want to join on the quest" replied gray with a question.

" Oh, where are my manners, am Ray while he's Ellis" said Ray while pointing at Ellis when he called.

" So it was you guys that brought the information about the missing orb" asked gray with a shocking look on his face.

" You can put it that way" replied Ray with a smile on his face.

" Well since it's you guys being able to defeat Jerald than those in the inn won't be that trouble for you and your friend to deal with" said gray before walking out of the guild with his other members.

" Can't you just avoid fighting for once" complained Ellis while they were heading to the inn.

" What can I do since five thousand contribution points is on the line, beside didn't we need more contribution points to boost our realm quickly" said Ray to Ellis who was walking beside him

" Have you forgotten that the resources we got from killing Jerald is more than enough for us to reach the foundation realm 10 easily so stop looking for an excuse to go on the quest" replied Ellis with a conflicted face when he heard Ray using their lack of resources to get his way.

After leaving the guild, gray was able to organize a party of ten from there squad including Ray and Ellis and it seems like Ellis and Ray are the weakest in the team.

" when things get bloody, both of you should stay close to me if you want to live" said grey to the boys before leading the team to the inn.
