The next day after recovering their strength Ray and Ellis began to search where they fought in hope of finding Jerald storage ring. After searching for a long time Ellis was able to locate jerald missing arm that was cut off by Ray after using his wind slash at a close rage. The arm was already minced, but the storage ring was easily to discover due to its glow.

After Jerald death, his spiritual mark on the storage ring was erased giving Ellis easy access to probe the ring, looking at the items on the ring in search of the orb Ellis suddenly frowned before turning to Ray.

" The orb is not here" said Ellis before throwing the storage ring to Ray.

Catching the ring, Ray fused his spiritual sense in and began to search only to come with the same results as Ellis.

" It's really not in here, maybe he left it in the hut before the battle" replied Ray with a frown on his face.

" I hope so" said Ellis before heading to the hut while tag along from behind, and they begin to search the hut in hope of finding the orb.

After searching the hut, they were still unable to locate the orb. Although they claim all of Jerald resources which will be very useful to them especially Ellis whom need a lot of resources to cultivate. They were just about to leave the hut only for Ellis to stop in his track and turn to look at the edge of the hut and that's where he saw an odd looking ring that was well hidden.

Walking up to the ring, Ellis tried to pull it off to inspect it only for the ring to produce a faint light after direct contact with Ellis, rolling to the side where the light is not in range Ellis and Ray were just about to prepare themselves for battle only for them to see the light grew brighter and before long a projector of a hooded man came into view.

" Hey Jerald we have finally obtained the orb and will be waiting for you and the other two to arrive before leaving. Remember in two days time when you return to Hiepia empire, head straight to the inn second floor room four, we'll be waiting there" said the hood man before the light from the ring began to dim and projector of the hooded man was no longer there.

" That message must have been sent yesterday since Jerald had not had the time to activate the message" said Ellis while still trying to pull the ring from it hiding.

" Meaning we only have till tomorrow to retrieve the orb before they leave the empire" replied Ray while stroking his chin.

" Yeah and the problem now is there are more than two bandits that came for the orb together with Jerald" said Ellis.

" Hey the mission said we should retrieve the orb from Jerald and since he doesn't have it ain't we getting paid for the stress we went through just to find him" asked Ray.

" Of course we'll be rewarded, but only half of the reward will be given to us" replied Ellis before walking out of the hut.

" And where are you going" asked Ray while looking at the departing Ellis.

" Where else if not the empire" replied Ellis while looking at Ray in annoyance.

" Don't you think you are forgetting something" asked Ray with a cunning smile.

" And what could that be" replied Ellis with a confused look on his face.

Ray sigh before replying. " Can't believe you forget about the treasure in the snake tribe".

" Are you out of your mind, didn't you see how wore out we are, fighting those snake members alone is more than enough to end is not to talk about their leader" replied Ellis while yelling at Ray.

" But you promise we will take them out and take the treasure" said Ray.

" That was before facing Jerald" replied Ellis.

" Don't know why am even stressing myself when the only way to get back to the empire is through their nest" said Ray with a smile.

" Hahaha, that won't be necessary since we have this" replied Ellis with a laugh while showing Ray a dried animal skin.

" Is that for us to feast on or what" asked Ray.

" You idiot all you know is only eating and fighting, this is a map of the swampy lake. With this we will be able to leave the lake without going through the snake horde" Ellis curse at Ray before showing him the structure in the map.

Ray almost flare up when Ellis called him an idiot, calming himself down he looks at the animal skin and truly there were some kind of rough sketches which were hard to read. Turning to Ellis, Ray asked.

" So do you know how to use the map".

" A little which is good enough for us to get out of here" replied Ellis while focusing on the map.

After studying the map, they were able to walk out of the swampy lake while avoiding danger, after spending the night in the swamp. When they got to Hiepia empire the first thing they did was to head to the hunter guild to report their finding.

Walking into the guild, they discovered the place was filled with hunters taking on a quest. Walking pass the crowd, they head to jenny post.

" You guys are quite fast in completing quite" said jenny while a warm smile on her face.

" The orb was not with Jerald from the start but his fellow alliance that are waiting for his arrival in the inn" said Ellis straight away.

" And how did you come to know about this" asked Jenny while been serious.

" We find him at swampy lake just as you said and went into battle with him. After taking his life we search his belongings in search of the orb only to see an odd looking communication device that deliver the message we just told you" replied Ray while throwing what's left of jerald face as evidence to their claim.
