" So when are we leaving, "asked, Ray.

" We leave by sunrise" replied Ellis.

Seeing that everyone has agreed to the time we are departing, I decided to go to sleep, but before I could take a step Ellis suddenly voices out.

" I heard you went to the blacksmith this morning to purchase a weapon, so what is it that you acquire" asked, Ellis.

Taking a step back I withdrew the blade from its scabbard and swung it a little before passing it to Ellis only to see the latter pass it to Maria who seen to be an expert with the blade.

" Nice sword," said Maria while swinging the sword before passing it back to Ray.

" Yeah it is a good one that drains me of my wealth," said the heartbroken Ray.

" At least it is worth the price" replied Kate while laughing.

Seeing that they have found the right moment to make fun of me I decided to leave but before leaving, I told them to come to get me when it is time to set off.

And that's how the day went with nothing much happening except for getting a good sleep before we set off to warberry cave since I don't know when I will be able to get a good sleep like this. At dawn, we left the clan, and at the same time, we left a message that was also sent to the clan head.

" Uhh, they have already left the clan. Guard go tell commander Derrick that Ellis and his maids have already left for warberry cave" said clan head Finn issuing the order to the guard.

Meanwhile, in the second young Master courtyard, a young man was sitting on the floor meditating when the young man's shadow began to wiggle and a young man jumped out of the shadow.

" Reporting to young master Wyatt, young master Ellis and his maids have left the clan territory," said the being that emerged from the shadow.

" Excellence, now I want you to follow them and don't let them notice you, when you have the chance then kill my little brother," said young master Wyatt.

" Consider it done young master" replied the man.

" Here are six hundred spirit stones it should be enough for you to hire some bandits to assist you in completing the tax," said young master, Wyatt while tossing a storage ring to him.

When the man was about to leave the room, young master Wyatt suddenly said.

" And Brodie, if he comes back alive, then don't bother coming back"

Hearing what the young master said sent a chill down Brodie's spine.

" Yes, master" replied Brodie before walking out of the room.

" With Ellis out of the picture, that will leave me to Simon whispered Wyatt before going back to cultivating.

After traveling for three days we eventually arrived at a cave. The interior was wide enough to fit hundreds of men while some strange stones are attached to the walls that are glowing.

" What is all this stone," asked Ray while pointing at one of the stones.

" That's limestone, they are used as a light source in caves like this" replied Kate.

We continued to walk until we came in contact with some of the workers who were digging in search of ore. Paying no attention to them, we continue to go deep into the cave and whenever we come across a working, they always bow to Ellis seeing to have known of his identity as one of the clan's young masters.

Arriving at a little shelter, Ellis instruct Kate to go and bring who so ever is in charge of the mining, and it didn't take long before Kate came back with a middle-aged man whose cultivation was seen to be a level lower than Ellis and Ray.

" Josh pays respect to young clan master," said josh while bowing to Ellis.

" I need you to prepare information about gnurx goblins," said Ellis without paying any heed to josh's bow.

" Understood young master Ellis," said josh before leaving.

" Is it really necessary to ask for information when we can just bash through them," asked Ray after josh's departure?

" How can you through them if they were to be a stronger one's among them and besides according to the report sent to the clan, they were the ones that are assaulting the workers so why to go after them when we can just let them come to us" replied Ellis why shaking his head for how ray doesn't use his brain.

" That also works too," said Ray while laughing awkwardly.

" Let's just forget about the gnurx goblins for the now and get some rest before josh bring the report," said Ellis before heading to a room that was prepared for those that are sent by the clan to supervise their progress.

30minutes later, josh came back with information about the gnurx goblins and in the information, it states that the gnurx goblins only assault the worker twice a week, and they were being led by a foundation realm2 gnurx warrior.

" Have they attacked this week," asked Ellis while looking at the information.

" Yes they attack 4days back and tomorrow they will begin to attack when the sun goes down" replied josh.

Ellis falls quiet for sometime before say Kate I will have to trouble you to look after the workers while Ray and I take care of the gnurx goblins and if the gnurx warrior gets involved then you will have to make your move Maria".

Turning his gaze to josh, Ellis probes him before asking.

" Kate will need your help in putting the workers in order when the gnurx goblins attack. Can you do that"?

" Young master Ellis doesn't need to worry himself with such matter" replied Josh.

" That's good to hear. You can go back to whatever you were doing if you don't have anything else to report" said Ellis while yawning.
