Liu Longwei phoned AD immediately.

"Where are they?."

Immediately AD gave him the location, they got onto their cars and turned around.

"AD, I don't know how you will do it, but I want to monitor the map myself, do that in the next 2 minutes." Liu Longwei instructed.

Two minutes later, Liu Longwei could keep track of the location of the GPS tracker he put in the necklace he gifted to Chen Lihua.

After driving for over an hour, Liu Longwei caught up with the car the GPS tracker detected, and in a few minutes, they cornered it in a lonely area.

What shocked Liu Longwei, was that Chen Lihua was not in the car. Actually, it was just a normal man driving to another City that thru caught.

When Liu Longwei saw the familiar necklace in the backseat of the car, he picked it up himself and interrogated the driver.

"How did you get this necklace?."

The driver was still in shock of being surrendered by so many scaring looking people, so he littered while replying.

"I...I don't know!." The man replied.

The man was actually innocent because he had no idea of how that necklace came inside his car.

He once parked his car in front of a store and returned a few minutes later, and that was the opportunity the assassin used, to put the necklace in it.

Liu Longwei was so mad because he was deceived and he fell into a smooth wife.

The more time he wasted, the more Chen Lihua would be in trouble, and he was scared of anything happening to her.

Since he has come to a dead-end, he had to call Mr. X to ask for the pending information.

"Have you found the person that contracted them?." Liu Longwei asked.

"Not yet, you have to give me some minutes more." Mr. X replied as he typed away.

"How many more minutes?." Liu Longwei asked impatiently.

"10-15 minutes" Mr. X replied.

Liu Longwei sighed and was about to end the call when he heard a question from 'X'

"Did you fail to track them down?."

"I tracked down the necklace, but we found someone else with it." Liu Longwei replied.

"It looks like they found out about the tracker and decided to play with you. By the way, who did you offend recently?." Mr. X said as he had a rough understanding of what transpired.

"I didn't offend anyone. I will be expecting an answer from you in the next 5 minutes, hurry up!." Liu Longwei said and ended the call after that.

Liu Longwei was still rubbing his head in frustration when he received a call from his mother.

"Longwei, where are you? What about Lihua, Taio is asking for the two of you, how long will it take?." Madam Liu asked in a worried tone with the little guy beside her.

"I don't know how long it will take." Liu Longwei replied in a tensed tone. He tried not to make it obvious, but his mother was still able to detect it and asked...

"Longwei, I can sense that everything is not alright, what happened?." She asked.

After a moment of silence, Liu Longwei opened up about the matter.

"Lihua was adopted from the hospital..."

"What?! Why have you not found her after a long time?! Longwei, don't let anything happen to Lihua, you need to call all your friends to help with the search!." Madam Liu said nervously.

"I know. Take care of Taio, I have to go now." Liu Longwei said and terminated the call thereafter.

After the call ended, Madam Liu called Lady Chen to inform her about the urgent matter on ground.

Lady Chen was alarmed when she learned that her daughter had been abducted. She immediately phoned Chen K and Chen Weiyuan to tell them about it.

Chen K and Chen Weiyuan began to make investigations and joined Liu Longwei in the search for Lihua.

Why everyone was worried about Chen Lihua's safety, Zie Yu had already fed her two more doses of the abortion pill (mifepristone).

"Tsk...tsk... Chen Lihua, you were almost lucky just mow, but it's too bad that I outsmarted Longwei, otherwise, my plans would have been ruined. But the special thing about me is that I am well prepared. After coming this far, I can't let you be rescued just like that. I would have to end your life if there is another close call." Zie Yu whispered to Chen Lihua's ear.

Chen Lihua was very worried about her baby that tears couldn't help coming out of her eyes. As she has been given the abortion pill three times now, she wasn't sure she could save her child.

Now that she was almost rescued but the rescue mission failed, and the tracker she had gone, Chen Lihua couldn't see any hope again.

Zie Yu was having real fun watching Chen Lihua suffer.

"Chen Lihua, I'm sure you didn't see this day coming. I will have to make sure you never forget today. I'm sure you will regret the day you met Longwei after suffering so many grievances from his ex." Zie Yu said and laughed out loud.

Since Longwei has been in the search for his beloved wife, he hasn't been himself. Even the doctor they set an appointment with, called him to notify him of the time in case they had forgotten.

Some minutes later, Mr. X phoned Liu Longwei, and since Liu Longwei has been waiting for his call, he didn't take more than 2 seconds to answer the call.

"Who is the person?." Liu Longwei asked in an urgent tone.

"Michael, did you offend your ex-girlfriend lately, cause I can see her sitting with the big boss of the assassin crew that was hired to adopt your wife?." Mr. X asked as his gaze was still locked on the video clip he was watching.

It was a clip from a CCTV camera, and it showed Zie Yu chatting amicably with whom seems to be the Boss of the assassins.

"What! Zie Yu?." Liu Longwei asked in shock.
