Chen Lihua smiled and answered the call when she saw the caller ID. It was her cousin Changying who was on the line.

"Heh! married woman, how are you doing?." Chen Lihua asked with a smile as she regained back her lost vigor.

"Lihua, I'm doing great, his are you?." Changying asked.

"I'm fine, I just finished surgery, and I am damm tired. How is brother-in-law?." Chen Lihua asked after complaining.

"He is fine. He and dad have been a great help to me in the company." Changying said in a soft tone.

"That's how great our family can be." Chen Lihua replied.

"Yes, and I am grateful to them. Lihua, please I would need your help with something." Changying said in a low tone.

"I will help anytime. Tell me, what do you need my help for?." Chen Lihua asked as she took a sit.

"We have a new collection we are about to release into the market, so I would like you to come model for us, and of course, I will pay you," Changying said expectantly.

"Look who you want to pay... Do you have lots of money these days?." Chen Lihua asked as she chuckled.

Changying laughed as well as she replied, "I don't have lots of money like you, but I would pay for any services."

"Don't worry about paying me, I will do it for free. It's been a while since I posed in front of the cameras, so I will take this as trying out my skills. Just send me the schedule, so I can add it to my calendar." Chen Lihua said with a smile.

"Okay, thank you!." Changying said in a grateful tone.

"No troubles. I would have loved to talk to you for a long while, but my daughter is very hungry, so I have to feed her." Chen Lihua said while rubbing her abdomen with a smile.

"Are you sure you're not the one hungry instead?." Changying asked as she chuckled with a hand over her mouth.

"Well, my daughter and I are very hungry, so we've got to eat or I will start devouring the patients."

Just as those words left her mouth, the patient that was about to knock on her door, heard it and turned around ad walked away.

Chen Lihua had no idea that she gave her patient a heart attack, and nobody informed her she would be seeing someone immediately after surgery.

"Ma'am, why did you come back?." The nurse that directed the patient to Chen Lihua's office asked in surprise.

"That doctor is scary, please take me to another one." The woman said with a scared look.

She had just encountered something scary, so of course, she wouldn't want to go back there.

The nurse was confused as she thought, 'did she got to the wrong place?' But seeing her scared the woman was, she decided to take her to see another cardiologist.

Chen Lihua who was still on a call with Changying finally said goodbye to her.

Chen Lihua quickly grabbed her things and left her office. She was so hungry that she felt could devour all the food in the world.

Chen Lihua hurried to the hospital's lunchroom to eat something. She didn't like the food she picked, but because she was so hungry, she had to eat a little more before giving up on the food.

But the result was that she ended up throwing everything up in the washroom, and now, she was already very hungry, again.

Chen Lihua wanted to cry for herself, but she had no tears to shed. She went down to the underground parking lot and stepped into the car, and then she gave out an order to the people on the front side of the car.

"Hurry up and drive me home, I am very hungry."

Without a delay, the car immediately left the underground parking lot, and Chen Lihua relaxed.

She suddenly remembered that she had some chocolates in her bag, so she took them out and started to eat them. And within a few minutes, everything was gone.

Chen Lihua rubbed her stomach as she frowned.

"Can you guys hurry up?! If I faint here due to hunger, can you bear the consequences?." She said to the people in front.

Hearing the anger in voice, the bodyguards sitting in front, glanced at each other before deciding to increase their speed limit.

Initially, they were worried about their Mistress because she was pregnant, and as ordered by their Boss, they had to drive carefully. But right now, they were afraid their Mistress would really faint because she was very hungry, so they had to obey her order and increase their speed.

When they arrived home, Chen Lihua walked into the house with a frown sitting on her face. She was in a bad mood.

She didn't even go straight to find Taio, and instead, went straight to the kitchen to find what to eat.

"Madam, you're back?." The housekeeper asked with a smile as she greeted Chen Lihua, but she didn't receive any response.

'Who annoyed our Mistress?' The housekeeper thought when she saw the frown on Chen Lihua's face, and seeing her walk towards the kitchen, she immediately followed after her.

Chen Lihua went straight into the kitchen and walked towards the fridge. She opened it and took out some eggs, vegetables, and meat. Then she went into the kitchen store and picked a few potatoes 🥔.

The housekeeper saw that she wanted to cook something, so immediately came to her side to help.

While helping her to boil the rice, the housekeeper reminded her in a low tone. "Ma'am, we still have lunch set out for you."

No matter what the housekeeper said, Chen Lihua didn't reply to her.

Later, Chen Lihua felt the woman was talking too much, so she glared at her, and she stopped talking. The housekeeper didn't dare to say another word till Chen Lihua left the kitchen with her food.

Anyone that saw Chen Lihua with the big bowl of the plate, wouldn't know what she was eating, because it was a mixture of different things.

The bowl had a mixture of rice, meat gravy, and some stir-fried potato 🥔 mixed with some vegetables.
