The next day, Che Lihua left work early as she had to visit her friend Chynna.

From Work, Chen Lihua drove straight to the supermarket to buy some groceries. She had a mask and her medicated glasses over her eyes.

She spent a few minutes shopping for some veggies and meat products, and she added some healthy snacks and drinks as well.

Satisfied with her list, she went over to the counter to pay, before leaving the big supermarket. She planned to cook for Chynna when she got to her house, so she made a list and got all of that.

Driving into the premises, Chen Lihua had a smile on her face. She immediately connected her phone to her car's blue tooth speaker and phoned Chynna.

In just one ring, Chynna answered the call, and her gentle voice was heard from the other side.

"Hey! Lihua, how are you doing?."

"Chynna, get your pretty ass outside right this minute and help my groceries." Chen Lihua said over the phone.

"What! You're at my place? I will be down in a minute, hold on!" Chynna said in an excited tone as she ended the call immediately.

Chen Lihua smiled as she parked her car and disconnected her phone from the car's blue tooth, before taking it and stepping out of the car.

She dialed Liu Longwei's number and said to him. "Darling, I just arrived at Chynna's place, and we may take a long while chatting."

"It's okay. How is she?." Liu Longwei asked?

"I think she's is fine, although I haven't seen her yet. You know, I'm still downstairs." Chen Lihua informed.

"Alright, take care of yourself. Next time, don't shake your bodyguards off." Liu Longwei said.

"I know. Bye, I love you!." Chen Lihua said as she kissed her phone.

"I love you two." Liu Longwei said and disconnected the call.

Chen Lihua still had a smile on her face when Chynna appeared.

"Lihua?." Chynna called out with a smile as she approached her.

These days, Chynna was looking so beautiful, and everything about her has improved incredibly thanks to the coaches that Chen Lihua arranged for her over the past few years.

"Chynna, nice to meet you!." Chen Lihua said as she stretched her hand for a handshake.

Chynna gently hit her hand out and went straight to hug her, while saying, "I missed you so much!."

Chen Lihua hugged her back and said to her with a smile, "If you missed me, why didn't you call, and you could have come to visit me at home since you still don't like hospitals."

"I wanted to give you a little space. You know, you are not just married, you have a little one as well, plus your job. You already have more than enough on your plate, so I didn't want to add to your troubles." Chynna said as she held Chen Lihua tightly.

"Nonsense! You are my friend, so how can you add to my troubles? Let's get the grocery bags, I'm damm hungry." Chen Lihua said as she released her from the hug.

"You actually went grocery shopping, does that mean you're going to cook for me?." Chynna asked with a smile.

"Of course." Chen Lihua replied with a smile as she turned to open her booth to reveal the different shop bags in there.

"Wow! That will be great! It's been a long time since I tasted your food. And it was as if you knew I was planning to order takeouts." Chynna said as she helped her with the grocery bags.

Chen Lihua closed her booth as she carried one grocery bag with her and walked towards the building with Chynna.

"You're talking too much today, and that is something rare. Tell me, did you win the lottery?." Chen Lihua asked.

"How did you know? I really won the lottery!." Chynna said in surprise.

"What! you really did win the lottery?." Chen Lihua asked.

"Of course I did, you're the lottery I won," Chynna replied with a smile.

"You're really something..." Chen Lihua sighed and didn't know what to say to her anymore. For a moment, she thought she really won the lottery ticket.

The two young women took the elevator to the floor Chynna was staying at. When they got to her door, Chynna input her password, and they walked into the house.

Chynna felt the small villa Chen Lihua gifted her was too big for her, so she had a little help from her with selling it and buying an apartment instead.

The two women walked into the kitchen, watched their hands, and unpacked the grocery bags.

Chen Lihua marinated the pork meat and covered it before leaving for the living room with Chynna to eat some snacks.

The two talked while eating their snack, and when the snacks finished, they went into the kitchen together.

"What do I help you with?." Chynna asked.

"What? Have you learned how to cook now?." Chen Lihua asked in surprise.

"No, but I could still render some help," Chynna replied.

"I would prefer you sit there and do nothing, you are so terrible with anything that has to do with cooking." Chen Lihua said to her.

Chynna chuckled softly and walked towards her. "Just tell me what to do, and I will do it. We have to cook fast, as I am hungry as well."

Chen Lihua glanced at her before instructing her.

"Measure 2 cups of rice."

"Put it in that bowl and wash it."

"Add 2 cups of water to the pan in the rice cooker, add a little salt."

"Sieve the rice and add it to the pan. Place the own in the rice cooker."

"Hold on, I will teach you how to set the timer." Chen Lihua said as she asked over to seat the timer for the rice.

"What else should I do?." Chynna asked in an excited tone.

"Sit over there and wait, I will handle the rest." Chen Lihua said to her.

"Maybe I can help you with washing the veggies," Chynna suggested.

Chen Lihua glanced at her and said, "You're really looking for what to do."

"Of course, I have to help you now, so there will be the next time." Chynna sad shamelessly.

"Oh! Now I get it. You are helping out so I can come back next time to cook for you! Your level of intelligence in bribery is increasing." Chen Lihua said with a smirk, before turning back to get the things for the sauce, ready.
