The next day around 7:30 Am, a call woke Liu Dongmei from sleep. She didn't get to see check the caller ID before she answered the call.

And with her eyes still closed, she said in a sleepy tone, "Hello!"

"Sister Mei, are you still in bed?." Chen Lihua asked from the other side of the phone.

Hearing the familiar voice, Liu Dongmei opened her eyes and glanced at the caller ID. Seeing the name there, she sat up and replied.

"Lihua, what's up?."

"I'm doing great sister Mei. I have a favor to ask from you, please don't say no." Chen Lihua said.

"Mmm... okay! How do you want my help?." Liu Dongmei asked with a smile.

"I just want you to spend some time with me today. I want to stay away from those two males in my family." Chen Lihua replied.

Liu Dongmei chuckled softly before agreeing.

"I get that you are really bored. Where should we meet?." Liu Dongmei asked.

"Let's have breakfast somewhere. Please pack a few clothes and some things you might need for the next two days because I booked a hotel for us." Chen Lihua revealed.

"What?! you're really going all out just to get away from your men. Did they piss you off?." Liu Dongmei asked in surprise.

"They didn't, I'm just tired of their troubles. Well, Longwei should use this opportunity to bond with his son. I took a 2-days leave, so you do the same, or I can help you ask for one." Chen Lihua said.

"Don't worry, I will do that myself. Staying in a hotel with you is really going to be fun!." Liu Dongmei said with a smile as she couldn't wait to tease the hell out of Chen Lihua.

What she didn't know was that Chen Lihua wasn't so innocent like she was a few years ago.

"Okay. Sister Mei, I should be at your place in an hour, so please get ready and make some preparation for Angel, so she wouldn't miss her mother." Chen Lihua said in a kind reminder.

"Okay, see you in an hour, bye!." Liu Dongmei said as she got off the bed.

She kept her phone aside and went to wash up, then she went to her closet to start packing a few of her things.

On the other side, Chen Lihua smiled to herself after the call ended. But when she turned around, she met with Liu Longwei's piercing gaze.

Chen Lihua stopped smiling and walked towards him.

"Are you angry now? Don't mind whatever I said to Sister Mei, I was just giving excuses to convince her to come out with me. How can I be tired of my husband and son, you know that's not possible." Chen Lihua said as she glanced at him.

"You have become so good at lying. Hope you wouldn't lie to me like you're doing with others?." Liu Longwei asked as he pinched her nose.

Chen Lihua hit his hand away and rubbed her nose. "Don't worry, I won't tell unnecessary lies."

"What? there are different categories of lies now, is it?." Liu Longwei asked as he brought her into his embrace.

"Of course, and I didn't just make them up, they have been existing for centuries. Darling, I need to pack up a few things." Chen Lihua said and kissed his lips before turning to walk away.

Liu Longwei smiled as he watched her sashay I to the walk-in closet.

A few minutes later, Chen Lihua was ready. She kissed goodbye to Liu Longwei and Taio.

"Mummy, when will you come back?." Taio asked.

"In 2 days." Chen Lihua replied with a smile and she gestured with her fingers.

"Okay. See you soon." Taio said with a smile.

"See you soon. Listen to your father and don't make a fuss." Chen Lihua reminded him as she touched his cheeks.

"Okay, mummy, bye," Taio said with a smile as he waved at her 👋

Chen Lihua smiled at him before turning her gaze to Liu Longwei. She hugged him, and they two kissed for a few seconds before letting go of each other.

Chen Lihua got into her sports car and drove off with another black car, following behind her.

When Liu Dongmei was done packing up her essentials for the two days of relaxation, she went I have breakfast, and there, she told Angel she would be gone for two days.

"Are you going on a business trip?." Mu Boqin asked just as he walked towards them.

Liu Dongmei didn't reply to him and continued eating her food.

Mu Boqin and Angel exchanged glances, and he gave the little guy a signal.

Angel understood and proceeded to ask her mother the same question she refused to answer, and she got a reply.

Mu Boqin knew his wife was purposely ignoring him, and she made it so obvious.

Now that he knew she was going out to relax, he guessed it was Chen Lihua's arrangement, so he was happy.

He only reminded Liu Dongmei of a few things she should watch out for. He also said some words of endearment, which were not well received.

After breakfast, Chen Lihua did come over, and it was at the exact time she said she would be coming over.

Chen Lihua didn't bother to come into the house as she remained in the same position in the sports car.

"Lihua, you really do keep to time." Liu Dongmei said as she walked towards the car with a smile, while a servant followed behind with her travel box.

Chen Lihua finally got off the car and walked towards Liu Dongmei. She hugged her as she replied...

"Of course I have to, time is very important. Good morning Sister Mei."

"Good morning Lihua. You look all rosy. Say, did my brother do something erotic to you this morning?." Liu Dongmei whispered.

"Sister Mei!" Chen Lihua called out as she blushed a little.

"What's there to be shy about? Just talk to me, I promise to keep the secret." Liu Dongmei said with a smile and Chen Lihua ushered her to the car.

"Sister Mei, nothing like that happened. Please sit tight and fix your seatbelt." Chen Lihua reminded as she closed the car door after she got in.

The bodyguards that came with her, took Liu Dongmei's bag from the servant and put it in the boot of their car.

Chen Lihua walked to the driver's side of the car and got in.
