The servants were still in shock with Zie Yu's actions. They glanced at themselves with horror on their faces.

Now, what will they do? Their Master was about coming down for dinner, what will they say to him? That his love-struck daughter was angry and ruined his dinner? What a lame excuse. They might be punished as well.

But first thing first, they knew they had to clear the mess, and it might take them up to half an hour (30 minutes) to return the glory of the dining area.

Five minutes later as the servants all put a hand to clear the mess, they heard an authoritative tone ask from behind them.

"What happened here?!."

The servants all froze when they heard their Master's voice. They all paused with whatever they were doing and stood to their feet. Bowing to him in greeting, there was no response from him.

The Chief servant knew she had to speak, so she picked up courage and replied to him.

"Young Miss swept the food away in anger."

"What nonsense! What made her sweep my food away?!." Mr. Zie asked in anger.

It could be seen that he wasn't in a good mood this evening.

The Chief servant kept her head low as the other servants before replying to him. She made sure to try as much as possible to brief the incident.

"Nonsense! How can she love a married man who had a child already?!. What a lame excuse! Go and bring her here. If she refuses to come with you, drag her here." Mr. Zie instructed as he raged on.

The servant bowed and left hurriedly, while the other servants continued to clean the dining area.

Mr. Zie walked to the living room to sit angrily while waiting for his daughter to be brought to him. He already asked a servant to bring a cane for him, he was ready to whip her.

The servant sent to call Zie Yu, met with a defense. Zie Yu's door was already locked, and she wasn't responding to her calls.

"Young Miss, Master is calling you." The servant said as she knocked on the door but received no response.

The servant knew that Zie Yu would never open the door for her after spending some time knocking on her door, she went back to report to Mr. Zie.

"She dares to ignore my instructions? it looks like I have spoiled her too much to the extent that she doesn't give me face anymore. Good! What a good daughter I raised. Tell her she is grounded for a month and all her cards are frozen. She is only permitted to eat once a day." Mr. Zie said in a cit of anger before walking away, but the servant stopped him as she asked him if he still wanted to eat, but she received a glare from him.

"Do I look like I'm still in the mood to eat?." Mr. Zie said before walking away.

The Servant breathes a sigh of relief before going to join the others to tidy up the dining area.

"What a waste." One of the servants said as she glanced at the amount of food wasted by Zie Yu.

"I am shocked the young Miss ruined Master's dinner." Another servant spoke.

"Sister, did you see the young miss?." Another servant asked the Chief Servant.

"How would I see her? Do you think the young miss is a fool to open her door and allow me to drag her to her father to be flogged? She wouldn't want to lose face, so she would rather endure the greater punishment." The Chief Servant replied as she picked up the pieces of broken plates.

Although Zie Yu was very annoyed not to care about anything, she still had something she cared about, her pride.

Earlier at the dining area, she was very pissed. She was already sad with the fact that Liu Longwei was married to a woman that wasn't her, and already had a child with her. And as if that wasn't enough they had another child on the way. Wasn't this a slap to her face?

Zie Yu knew her father would be angry with her for ruining his dinner, so she had to escape. She would be a fool to submit herself to be punished.

She couldn't even imagine herself being punished while the servants watched, she would never allow that, so she would rather stay in her room and await her father's punishment for going against his others.

"But I really don't understand the young miss. Why does she still have her heart over a married now?."

"You don't know? Young Miss used to date Mr. Liu, and they broke up over a year before Mr. Liu got married." Another servant replied to her.

"No wonder she still doesn't want to let him go. A handsome and successful man like Mr. Liu who has made it to the Forbes list numerous times is actually worth dying for."

"With Young Miss's character, do you think she would last in any relationship? She doesn't even have any good side."

"Enough. Just shut your mouth and clean up this mess." The Chief servant said after cautioning them.

Mr. Zie went back to his study and sat on the chair with his fists on his jaw. He was still fuming and felt like smashing something, but he couldn't because everything in the house came from his sweat.

Earlier today, he just lost a bid to a rival company. He had worked hard to try and secure the bid only to be snatched away at the last minute by his rivals.

He was aware the business world was like this, but he was a human being with emotions, so he was allowed to be annoyed.

He knew life had to move on, so he asked the kitchen to cook up a feast, so he could eat with his daughter, while he worked in his study for a while.

When he heard his daughter said she didn't want dinner, he was annoyed with her and had to force her to come down for dinner.
