The driver ignited the car once again. At first, Chen Weiyuan thought he wanted to drive backward, but he was wrong, he wanted to run him over, so he moved out of the way in fright.

But then, the car suddenly came to a halt. Lady Chen rolled down the car window and said to him.

"Are you not getting in?!."

Weiyuan has to quickly get over the shock as he hurriedly enters the car.

"Mum, I'm..." He started to say, but Lady Chen waved her hand, so he shut up.

The driver quickly drove away from the mall.

A few seconds later, he picked up his phone and logged into the site to book a flight for his mother. He deliberately lowered his phone, so Lady Chen can take a peek at what he was doing.

His plans worked, because Lady Chen glanced at his phone through her peripheral view, then she looked away almost immediately, pretending not to have seen anything.

After booking the flight, Weiyuan called his mother. Immediately she answered the call, he informed her that he had sent the details of her flight to her. Then he reminded her not to miss her flight with was scheduled to be in the evening of the next day.

After passing the information he wanted to pass to her, he added, "Don't come back if possible. If you want to speak to me you call me."

Right after saying that, he ended the call without waiting for her to say anything.

Lady Chen didn't know when she released a breath she's been holding in. Weiyuan smiled to himself but didn't dare to let her see it, for fear that he would push out of the car.

Some seconds, later, he said to her in a gentlemanly manner. "Mum, I'm very sorry about today. She told me to shop with her today, that she would leave in a week, so I had to comply."

Lady Chen remained silent and looked into her phone, pretending to not have heard him.

Weiyuan wasn't bothered by her attitude. At least, he could relax now that her face was no longer stone cold.

When they got to Chen Lihua's house, they met Chynna there.

Chynna was now living a life termed, 'comfortable' and she was doing a good job adapting to this 'normal' life after being locked up for years.

But all this was thanks to the fact that Che Lihua got all kinds of coaches for her, including a counselor, health and fitness coach, life coach, and any other coach you could ever think of.

Chynna has two servants in the house, plus a chauffeur, who drives her around. But she hardly leaves the house, since she was not too confident about going out and meeting new people.

She has started her driving lessons, but she is taking it slow with that class.

Today, Chen Lihua asked her to take a break from her lessons and come over, since she has been cooped up in the house for days without seeing the environment.

Chynna agreed to come because Chen Lihua was the only one that could ease her stress after a long time.

Just by talking to her, she feels happy and satisfied.

So when Lady Chen and Weiyuan got to the house they met Chynna who was about to leave.

Chen Lihua smiled as she introduced her to Weiyuan.

"Brother, this is Chynna, my best friend from high school, I don't know if you can recognize her?."

"Chynna?." Weiyuan asked as he became a little bit lost in thought, as he tried to recall where he heard that name from, and if he has seen her in the past.

Chynna smiled in embarrassment with him taking so long to remember her. But she too didn't remember him.

She was surprised to hear Chen Lihua call him, 'Brother'.

Chen Lihua knew she was shocked, so she made a mental note to explain things to her...

At last, Weiyuan finally remembered where he first met her, but he didn't see her often, hence his memory was vague.

After a simple interaction, Chynna left.

Chen Lihua noticed the awkward stance between her mother and half-brother, but she chose not to ask anything, because looking at her mother, she wouldn't want to say anything.

Then as for Weiyuan, he wouldn't dare to say anything.

"Mum, you are spoiling this grandson of yours. He is so tender, but already has so many toys and clothes, but you just keep buying more and more." Chen Lihua said as his eyes trailed over the shopping bags that had the Chen logo on them.

"He's my grandson, and of course I can never get tired of it. Allow me to spoil him." Lady Chen replied.

"Well, he's all yours!." Chen Lihua said in a concession

Lady Chen and Weiyuan spent more than two hours with Chen Lihua. And Weiyuan got to carry his nephew for the first time.

He likes the little guy at first sight and didn't want to let go, but then, he had to leave after promising to see him often.

In the car, Lady Chen admonished him. "If you are looking for where to go to and what to do, come to the company!."

"Mum, remember I haven't settled on what to do," Weiyuan said helplessly.

"What have you been doing since you came back?. No excuses, think and plan about your life this weekend while having it in mind that you are coming to the company with me on Monday morning." Lady Chen said, the implication definite in her words.

Weiyuan would never refute her words. In fact, he was lucky she was only talking about company matters for now, and not about settling down.

He isn't interested in being in any relationship now, but that doesn't mean he hasn't dated before.

Telling him to settle down, would be a difficult task for him to accomplish now.

A few months later, Aunt Lin flew back to China with her companion.

Chen Lihua had to go back to the Chen family to welcome her. And of course, she didn't go with her son, and Liu Longwei didn't follow her.

The Chen family was happy to welcome Aunt Lin back, so they made a small preparation to welcome her back.
