"Did you see how rude she was? She was even asking me to go and die!. And because of her lack in manners, she didn't even bother to mince her words." The Deputy Chief said in anger.

"How do you expect her to mince her words when you are always after her? And you know she didn't mean what she said. She only retaliated that way because of your statement. Just let everything slide. You are her elder." The Chief replied, unfazed by his temperament.

"Are you supporting her?." The Deputy Chief asked with a black face.

"I am not supporting anybody. Please get ready for the Valve surgery in 40 minutes." The Chief reminded.

The Deputy Chief stared at him for few seconds before standing to his feet.

"Just a kind reminder... Don't touch Dr. Chen or offend her if you don't want your medical license taken away." The Chief said to him before going back to the patient medical record in front of him.

The Deputy Chief left the office angrily and went back to his own. His heart was embittered.

For a moment, he forgot Chen Lihua's identity. She just needed to say a word, and he would lose his job without sitting for a trial. But he refused to admit that Chen Lihua has a benevolent heart.

When Chen Lihua got back home, she was told the little guy missed her.

As she cuddled her little guy, she said to him with a smile on her face.

"Looks like to restrategize. I will come to see you during my break hours."

When Liu Longwei came back home, she told him about her new plans and he agreed.

He would agree to anything that will suit the mother and son.

So just like that, Chen Lihua would go home during her one-hour break section to be with her son, then she would return to the hospital, work for two hours or so, before finally going back home.

This decision was approved by the Chief.

During the weekend, Lady Chen went to the Family's shopping mall to buy some baby products for her grandson.

She needed to add something to the basket 🧺 of fresh fruits she had in the car. Manager Sun (the general manager of Chen Mall) was her assistant for today.

Anytime Lady Chen came to the mall to shop, Manager Sun would always be by her side, assisting her.

After buying some of the baby toys and items, she decided to visit the women's wear section, so she could get something for her daughter.

As she entered there, she gave her card to Manager Sun so he can pay for the items and send them to her car downstairs.

Lady Chen hardly moves around with her bodyguards. Her driver, Mr. P, was enough for her. And besides, she was the owner of this place, so what could happen to her?

Lady Chen picked a few dresses, sandals, and bags before going to pay for the items.

On her way out of that section, another woman who seemed to be walking with her eyes on her phone, bumped into her and the items in her hands fell to the tiled floor.

"Can you watch where you are going to?!." The woman shrieked.

Lady Chen had already bent over to pick the items when she heard the rude tone. She frowned and looked up at the woman, totally abandoning the items.

The two of them looked surprised to see each other.

"Oh! It's you?." The other woman said as she sized up Lady Chen.

"Cassandra, it's so unfortunate that you had to bump into me. But before you take another step, you have to pick up the items on the floor." Lady Chen said to her casually.

"Are you Crazy?!." The woman snapped angrily as she glared at Lady Chen.

"I'm not bothered about what you think about me, you've not always been normal, and I don't expect you to apologize, because you lack manners. Just pick up the items on the floor, then you are free to continue with your shopping free. Because if you weren't looking at your phone, you wouldn't have bumped into me." Lady Chen said to her, unfazed by her attitude.

"You must be joking. Do I look like a clown to you? I'm not touching any filthy thing. Since you saw I was on my phone, you could have avoided me, so what's the meaning of all these?." Cassandra asked angrily.

"I don't want to waste my breath explaining things to you, just pick up the items and save our time." Lady Chen said as she crossed her arms, with her gaze fixed on her.

"You must be out of your mind! And what if I don't pick them up?." Cassandra asked stubbornly.

Cassandra was a woman around Lady Chen's age, but she was a few years older than Lady Chen. And from their conversation, we are aware they know each other but are not on good terms.

"If you don't pick up the items, just leave the mall directly." Lady Chen said to her.

Cassandra hissed and took a step, intending to walk away, but Lady Chen held her arm back as she threatened in a tone that can not be refused.

"Don't you dare!."

Cassandra looked a little troubled with the fierce grip, and that look on Lady Chen's face. She had always known Lady Chen to be fierce, but this was the first time she was experiencing it.

She didn't want to listen to her, because that would be a slap to her face.

"Mum?!." A familiar male voice called out in urgency.

Lady Chen glanced at him before moving her gaze away, totally ignoring.

Cassandra heard that family voice, but because of her position, she had to look back to the person.

"Son, quick, come and help your mother. This woman wouldn't let me go!." Cassandra said with hope in her eyes.

Just now when Weiyuan called, 'Mum?' He was referring to Lady Chen, because he had his gaze fixed on her. But his biological mother, thought otherwise since she was backing him in the first instance.

"I left you for a few minutes, and you've already caused trouble." Chen Weiyuan said with a troubled look on his face.

Both women were his mothers, and now, they were facing off. He was in a very tricky situation. Who should he support?
