Liu Longwei smiled as he gazed into her eyes. When he saw she wasn't faking it, he decided to explain further because he was kind of serious about it.

"You didn't offend me. I'm just trying to make you a responsible husband." Madam Liu said with a smirk on her face.

"Thanks, Mum for your help, but Lihua and I will settle this matter ourselves. Lihua will take care of the baby and me. While I will take care of her and the baby in return. Perfect!." Liu Longwei said.

"I see. Lihua dear, do you accept it? If you don't, I will bring justice for you." Madam Liu asked as she glanced at Chen Lihua.

"Mum, I accept whatever Longwei says." Chen Lihua replied before hurrying away with a blush on her face.

She didn't know if this mother and son were collaborating to bully her this morning. She didn't know if it was intentional, but she had to escape before it was too late.

"Look at your wife, she is such a good person. Make sure you take care of her and avoid anything that will bring tears to her eyes." Madam Liu advised him with a serious look on her face.

"Mum trust me, I wouldn't do anything to intentionally hurt my wife, so you can rest assured." Liu Longwei promised.

"As young as he is, he's already so smart. I'm proud of him. He really did inherit his parent's IQ." Madam Liu said as Chen Lihua placed the baby in her arms.

"Sweet little boy, did you miss grandma?." Madam Liu asked as she smiled at the little guy who was giving her a scrutinizing gaze.

Seconds later, the little guy smiled at her as he fiddled with his fists and rubbed his legs together.

"Good boy! That's more like it." Madam Liu said as she played with him.

"Mum, I'm going to sleep for a while, Taio did not allow me to get enough sleep last night." Chen Lihua said with furrowed brows.

"Go, my dear, I'm here to take care of him. You really need to get enough sleep because of your schedule today." Madam said in agreement.

"Thank you, Mum." Chen Lihua said to her before patting Liu Longwei's shoulder as she walked past him.

"Mum, I'm going with her as well. If the baby is, hungry, you can come and find me in the study. But if you don't see me there, then just know I'm still in Lihua's bedroom. You can knock on it as well." Liu Longwei said to his mother.

"Alright! You need to rest as well since the baby disturbed your sleep last night. Go ahead." Madam Liu said to her with a kind smile on her face.

Liu Longwei peeked at his little boy before fiddling with his cute tiny fingers with a smile on his face.

Feeling the touch on his fingers, the little guy traced the big fingers holding his tiny ones, till he came to stare at his father's face.

"See you..." Liu Longwei said to him and he received a smile in response. Then, he walked away satisfactorily.

"Wei, your parents have gone to take a nap, so you are here with grandma. And grandma bought you beautiful toys. Great Grandma is extending her greetings to you. She will come to see you soon, okay....?."

Madam Liu kept talking to her grandchild with smiles on her face.
