"Lihua, they are tears of joy." Liu Dongmei said to her with a happy smile on her face.

"Lihua, do not worry, Longwei will be punished for putting you under emotional stress when he gets back." Madam Liu promised.

She sniffed and stood up to continue taking walks after the doctor checked on her blood pressure.

This time around, Chen Lihua didn't need people to support her. Her mother-in-law was enough.

Madam Liu took Chen Lihua out of the house for a walk. And as they took walks, she whispered some words of comfort and encouragement.

While Chen Lihua was away on a walk, the doctor and the two nurses that came with her, set the place up for the delivery.

They were busy getting things ready for the baby's delivery, and in case of any emergency.

"She might get into a seizure during the delivery of the child, so get two shots of that ready." The doctor said to one of the nurses that showed her a liquid drug to be administered as an injection.

Coincidentally, Liu Huiling was passing by and heard the doctor say that. This caused her to begin to worry for Chen Lihua and the baby.

So she went outside and stood at the entrance as she watched from afar, Chen Lihua take walks with her mother.

"Lihua, nothing will go wrong." Liu Huiling muttered to herself in a low tone as she took out her phone to make a call.

"What's the matter?." Liu Dongmei asked as she came out from behind her.

"I just overheard the doctor telling the nurses to get two shots of a particular drug ready, as Lihua might go into seizures during the birth of her child." Liu Huiling revealed with worry on her face.

"Seizures are very serious and dangerous. And mostly, they can be life-threatening. This is a serious matter. If Lihua gets into a seizure, the baby might suffocate, and we all know what will happen at the end." Liu Dongmei said worriedly.

"Let's just hope and have faith that everything will go on smoothly. I wish Brother was here now because he is her only pillar of support." Liu Huiling said as she focused her gaze on Chen Lihua who just sat down because she was tired.

Because the sun is out, Chen Lihua had her glasses over her eyes to shield them from the intense light from the sun.

"Let me try calling brother now, more than an hour had passed." Liu Dongmei said as she picked up her phone and dialed Liu Longwei's number.

"I was about calling him too." Liu Huiling said as a smile appeared on her face.

"It's ringing...!" Liu Dongmei shrieked excitedly, but her voice wasn't loud enough to attract the others.

"Wow! That's good news!." Liu Huiling said as she waited patiently.

"Uh... He didn't answer." Liu Dongmei said with a little disappointment in her tone.

"Try his number again." Liu Huiling suggested, and Liu Dongmei went on to try his number again, but this time around, he cut the call off.

"Huh, 😨 He cut the call off." Liu Dongmei replied.

"Maybe he's busy. Wait... Earlier when he was two hours away from China, his number wasn't going through, and that's because he was on the plane. But now he has landed, his number is going through." Liu Huiling deducted.

"You're right. Call AD or K2 to find out his location." Liu Dongmei suggested excitedly. She was so happy they had a lead.

Liu Huiling didn't waste time as she phoned K2 and demanded Liu Longwei's location.

Chen Lihua was currently trying out her breathing exercises as her mother-in-law, Madam Liu guided her.

"That's good. Take deep breathes and then exhale." Madam Liu instructed.

Chen Lihua could feel the painful contractions now, so she needed to ease off the pain.

Liu Dongmei glanced at Chen Lihua before saying, "No, not yet. We don't have enough proof even though she would be happy with the news. It will also distract her and get her tensed in the process. Let's wait till we hear from Brother directly."

"Okay. Since Mother is with her, let's go in and inform grandma and Aunt Chen." Liu Huiling said as she dragged her inside. She couldn't wait any longer to share the good news.

When they got inside, Lady Chen was in the kitchen with Old Madam Liu, making something for Chen Lihua to eat while the chefs were busy with their food.

The doctor said Chen Lihua was too weak and need to eat to regain energy for the journey ahead.

Because she didn't want the servants to overhear their discussions since they were unaware of the whole drama from the beginning, Liu Huiling had to make them come out from the kitchen.

Old Madam Liu instructed a servant to watch over the food on fire as she left the kitchen with Lady Chen.
