"Grandma! I want to see Longwei!." Chen Lihua cried out.

"Stop crying, you will see him soon." Old Madam Liu said, trying to placate her.

Just then, Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling who shifted to a corner to make calls and inquiries walked back into the living room.

When Chen Lihua saw them, at first, her eyes lit up with hope in them. But when she saw their facial expressions didn't change right from the beginning of this whole incident, she started to wail again.

"Mum, Dad said he still can't reach Longwei, but he is on his way to the scene even though he had already sent delegates to find out the current situation at the scene." Liu Dongmei announced.

"It's alright. What about Liwei, did you speak to him?." Madam Liu inquired further.

"Yes. He too hasn't been able to reach Brother. But he's making some calls to Russia to see if he is still there or has left already." Liu Dongmei said in reply.

"Alright." Madam Liu said before turning to the weeping Chen Lihua.

Just then, they all heard a helicopter sound, and Lady Chen gave out instructions.

"The doctor is here. Quick Huiling, please go and bring her inside."

"Okay, Aunty." Liu Huiling replied and walked away hurriedly.

When she went outside because the helicopter landed in the space in the compound instead of the rooftop, she already saw the doctor walking towards her in a hurry, with two nurses walking behind her. They were almost on their heels.

"Where is she?." The doctor asked just before she approached Liu Huiling.

"She's in the living room." Liu Huiling replied as she led them inside.

When the doctor inside with the nurses, she saw the rest pacifying Chen Lihua who was sitting on the floor in tears.

"OMG! What happened to her?." The doctor asked in alarm as she approached them, thinking that something has happened to Chen Lihua or the baby.

Madam Liu sighed heavily before going on to brief her on the situation.

The doctor was kind of devastated because she just passed the crash scene, and there was no survivor, but how could she tell them that?

Right now, Chen Lihua was her priority, so she instructed them.

"Please take Mrs. Liu to the delivery room, so I can check up on her."

"No, I want to see my husband. Sister Mei, ask K2 to find my husband immediately." Chen Lihua instructed before she was led into the delivery room prepared for her.

There, the doctor checked up on her with rapt attention. There was no lab, so she couldn't carry some tests. But she knew another way to find out what was actually wrong with her.

"What are the symptoms she has been experiencing?." The doctor asked as she continued checking up on Chen Lihua.

"She threw up everything she ate this morning. She complained of terrible headaches, she felt slightly dizzy. And then, she experienced a sharp pain on her abdomen twice today." Liu Huiling revealed.

After few seconds, the doctor said. "We have to induce her labor right away, this can not wait. She and the baby will be at very high risk if she doesn't deliver the baby within 48 hours."

"Doctor is her condition that serious?." Madam Liu asked worriedly.

"Yes, it's quite serious, but everything will be fine if handled quickly and accurately. What I don't seem to understand is how preeclampsia managed to stay hidden that all the tests couldn't identify any problem. And now, it suddenly came off and is increasing at a faster rate. This is very dangerous." The doctor said.

Chen Lihua experienced some of the symptoms of preeclampsia, but here at the remaining symptoms.

Other symptoms of preeclampsia include: severe headaches, excess protein in the urine, which is a sign of kidney problems, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, blurry vision, a temporary loss of vision, upper abdominal pain, decreased urine output, swelling of the face, and hands, etc.

Preeclampsia occurs in about 5 to 8 percent of pregnancies. Because preeclampsia is thought to result from problems developed by the pregnancy itself, delivery of the baby and placenta are the recommended treatment to stop progression and resolve the condition.

So that is the reason the doctor wants to induce Chen Lihua's labor and get the child out immediately, as that was the only situation.

If the labor is not induced in due time, the preeclampsia will get worst, and lead to worse symptoms, including death.

Because Chen Lihua was not too far from labor, therefore, she could deliver through the normal way instead of a cesarean operation.

If she hasn't started dilating already, then, the cesarean operation would have been the only option, so she was quite lucky that she didn't need to go under the knife.

The last test the doctor did was to check her blood pressure, which was way above normal.

If during this time, the high blood pressure gets worse, it can lead to several life-threatening complications such as; bleeding in the brain, or hemorrhagic stroke, seizures, coma, or even HELLP syndrome, causing elevated liver enzyme levels and low platelets, which may lead to permanent damage to the nervous system, lungs, and kidneys.

When preeclampsia causes seizures, it's called eclampsia. Unborn babies can suffocate during a mother's seizure, and about one in every 14 of these babies may die. Additionally, mothers who experience a stroke due to preeclampsia may have permanent brain damage or even death.

"Doctor, how is the child, is He safe?." Madam Liu asked.

"For now, he is safe. Mrs. Liu's little boy is a strong one." The doctor said while listening to Chen Lihua's heartbeat as she pointed at the monitor for them to see the baby.

Everyone could already see that the baby was already in position and set to be delivered.

"That's good, so what's next?." Lady Chen asked.

"She will have to take walks now. She will do a little running, and then climbing and going down the stairs with the greatest level of speed she can do now. This is to induce the labor." The doctor said in reply.
