Their coming in distracted the attention of the two women.

Seeing Chen Lihua in a weak state, they immediately hurriedly towards her as panic could be seen written all over their faces.

"What happened to her, why is she in this state?." Lady Chen asked worriedly.

"Aunt don't worry, it doesn't seem like something serious. Lihua is just tensed and nervous." Liu Dongmei said.

"Mum I'm fine." Chen Lihua said in a soft tone.

"No, you're not! You don't look fine to me." Lady Chen said in reply before instructing Liu Huiling to take her to the sofa.

"Lihua, you look weak. Are you still experiencing the headaches?." Madam Liu said as she sat beside her with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah, and I feel the headaches are getting worse." Chen Lihua said in reply.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?! Bilu, out her doctor on the phone." Lady Chen said, annoyed at the situation.

"Mum, Lihua threw up as well, and she was feeling dizzy earlier." Liu Huiling revealed.

"What?!." Lady Chen screamed in alarm.

"Mum, what are you screaming for? I'm just nervous, that's it." Chen Lihua said as she was becoming annoyed. She didn't know the reason her mother was taking things so seriously.

"No Lihua, it's more than that. It's my fault for forgetting the most important thing." Lady Chen said as she left her side and went over to Madam Liu who was on a call.

"What do you mean there are traffic and a roadblock?." Madam Liu questioned.

"Give the phone to me." Lady Chen said as she took the phone.

"Hello, doctor. I need you to get here as quickly as possible, my daughter is not in a good condition, and the labor needs to be induced immediately. Come before things get out of hand."

"What?! What could be wrong? Oh No! Don't tell me it's what I'm thinking of. If that is it, we have to prepare for labor, but I'm stuck right here. There is a roadblock as a helicopter suddenly crashed close to the airport." The doctor revealed.

Lady Chen placed a hand on her forehead as she shut her eyes, while the other looked on in confusion.

They were wondering why Lady Chen would say that Chen Lihua was in a serious condition.

"Send me your location through the map, I will send a helicopter to pick you up in five (5) minutes, so get ready." Lady Chen instructed and ended the call immediately, before going ahead to make another call.

"Send a helicopter to the location I just sent to you." Lady Chen urged.

The person seemed to have said something that irritated Lady Chen because her tone became harsher.

"Why are you asking so many questions at this moment, it's not needed. There is an emergency over here. Our daughter can't wait for long, so hurry."

After saying this piece, Lady Chen ended the call before walking towards Chen Lihua in a hurry.

"Lihua, are you Okay? Are you fine?." Lady Chen asked worriedly.

"Mum, I'm fine, but what's going on, why are you so worked up?." Chen Lihua asked, getting scared in the process.

"Yes, Ju Ju, you are acting weird. Tell us the problem is, we are equally worried as well." Madam Liu said to her in a worried tone.

"Lihua is showing the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia." Lady Chen revealed.

"Preeclampsia? What's that?." Madam Liu asked in confusion.

"I don't know how to explain it, but this condition is very dangerous to her and the baby. If things get worse, there are going to be a lot of issues." Lady Chen said.

"I think her blood pressure has increased. We just need the doctor to get here on time." Lady Chen said as she grabbed Chen Lihua's arm.

"Lihua, you'll be fine." Lady Chen assured her.

"Mum, get your hands off me!." Chen Lihua said as she plunged her mother's arm away forcefully.

When she did that, she experienced a sharp pain in her abdomen, so her face scrunched up in a frown and she placed a hand where she experienced the sharp pain.

The other three women were surprised when Chen Lihua pushed her mother's arm away. But there was no time to dwell on that because Chen Lihua wasn't looking so good at the moment.

"My stomach hurts!." Chen Lihua cried out.

This unexpected revelation caused all of them to be in panic.

"Lihua are you alright?." They asked worriedly.

A few seconds later, Chen Lihua calmed down a lot, so she replied, "I'm fine."

"Lihua, please don't move a lot, stay calm." Liu Huiling advised.

Chen Lihua took deep breaths before speaking up "Mum seriously, your act is getting me worked up. You just said was experiencing something serious, but you can't even give me the full details. This is so annoying. You are making me more worried, and right now I'm worried about my baby."

"Lihua, if I knew more about that, I wouldn't dare to hide anything from you. I just know the experiences you are facing plus increased blood pressure are signs and symptoms of Preeclampsia because my sister had this problem when she was pregnant with her twins. But it was discovered earlier and treated immediately. But it looks like yours was well hidden that even your doctor didn't find out about it after all the tests she did on you." Lady Chen revealed.

Preeclampsia usually begins after week 20 of pregnancy. Rarely, it can present earlier in pregnancy or even postpartum. The condition can occur in women who previously had normal blood pressure.

The first sign of preeclampsia is an abnormal rise in blood pressure. This is defined as a rise in blood pressure to greater than or equal to 140/90 that persists for more than just a few hours.

Initially, Chen Lihua had perfectly normal blood pressure. Then she began to experience an abnormal increase in blood pressure, which had only occurred twice.
