After having uninterrupted fun for two days, Liu Dongmei came back to see Chen Lihua. And this time around, she took more clothes with her.

Chen Lihua has been experiencing labor signs for some weeks now, and as the days to the delivery date become shorter, the signs become more obvious.

There was a time, Chen Lihua had an uncontrollable rise in blood pressure, actually, it has occurred two major times.

So her doctor gave her some instructions and some procedures to follow.

The last test run on her showed that she was perfectly normal, but her doctor still gave more advice to prevent any funny incident during labor.

Well, the cause of the rise in her blood pressure wasn't known, the source is still uncovered. But the doctor suspected that she must have gone through some experiences that caused the rise in blood pressure, and maybe it wasn't discovered and treated on time.

Like her near kidnapping incident, and the experience in the Maldives, and other little incidents.

But for a person with normal blood pressure to suddenly begin to experience high blood pressure, it wasn't normal.

And in a while now, Chen Lihua has not shown signs of increased blood pressure.

Right now, Chen Lihua could feel that her baby was ready to come into the world because she has been experiencing contractions lately.

At first, she didn't know they were contractions until she mentioned something about how she was feeling, and that was how her mothers contacted her doctor.

Her doctor came over to check on her, and truly, she was experiencing contractions.

"Congratulations Mrs. Liu, your baby can't wait to come into the World. You are experiencing contractions, and that means labor is not far. But sometimes, you can experience continual contractions for more than a week, but it all depends. For now, just continue to monitor the contractions and the time intervals before the next contraction, and give me feedback. I will drop by later today." The doctor said.

"If labor is close, shouldn't I be set to deliver since I'm already having contractions?." Chen Lihua questioned in confusion.

"It doesn't normally go that way, Mrs. Liu. Your contractions are not regular yet. So till they are regular, the baby is not ready yet." The doctor said in reply.

"Okay." Chen Lihua said in reply.

"When are you coming back?." Madam Liu who was in the delivery room with Chen Lihua and Lady Chen asked the doctor.

The doctor glanced at her wristwatch before replying.

"I should be back around 4 PM today, I have to tidy up the rest of my work, and then, I will come back with two nurses."

"Till then Mrs. Liu, please take care." The doctor said to Chen Lihua before leaving.

Standing up from the bed on her own was no longer an easy task, so her mothers had to help her.

After the doctor left, Old Madam Liu advised Chen Lihua.

"Lihua my child, now that you're having contractions, don't sit at a place. Take walks and do your usual exercises, it helps a lot. Who knows, you might be going into actual labor tomorrow."

"Okay, Grandma." Chen Lihua replied with a smile on her face.

Chen Lihua was happy with this news. She has been expecting her child, and could not wait for him to be delivered. She could hardly wait to hold her child in her arms.

Apart from feeling happy, she was starting to become tense.

'That means, I might get to hold my child tomorrow, or even in a few days. Child, come out soon, Your father and I have waited for a long time.'

She and Liu Longwei have been waiting for their child, 'That's right, Liu Longwei, I need to tell him the good news'. Chen Lihua thought as the smile on her face bloomed.

Old Madam Liu smiled from the side as she watched Chen Lihua's facial expression change within minutes.

Just as Chen Lihua picked up her phone to call Liu Longwei, Madam Liu called her over from the dining area.

Madam Liu was calling her to come and eat.

"You're already showing signs of labor, so you need to eat well to have the energy to push the baby out." Lady Chen said to her as they served her soup and some side dishes.

"This time around, you have to finish the food." Madam Liu instructed kindly.

"Okay, Mum." Chen Lihua replied as she picked up her spoon to get a taste of the soup.

Not quite long after Her mothers left her side, Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling came to her side.

They were just coming back from the office, they went to make some arrangements for Liu Longwei's arrival.

"Lihua, we heard the good news, keep it up. Soon you will be a mother." Liu Huiling said as she took a seat at her right hand, while Liu Dongmei said at her left side.

"Thank you." Chen Lihua replied as she couldn't hide the joy in her heart.

"It would have been super better if Brother was here to help you out so the baby come faster." Liu Dongmei said as a teasing smile appeared on her face.

"How would he be of help to me, I just need to push the baby out on my own." Chen Lihua replied as she sent half spoon of rice into her mouth without understanding the point.

Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling exchanged glances, and then they chuckled at the same time, but Liu Dongmei's voice was louder since she was without restraint.

Chen Lihua glanced at them in surprise with the look that says, 'Did I say something wrong?.'

"Oh, Lihua! Why are you so innocent?." Liu Dongmei questioned without hiding the fact that she was amused.

"If Brother was here, he would have helped you to induce labor through sex." Liu Dongmei finally revealed to her what she meant.

"Oh, that? He has done that already." Chen Lihua said without a care as she drank from her bowl her soup.

Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling choked on the vegetable in their mouth.

They never expected this kind of reply from Chen Lihua in any way, they didn't see this coming.

Chen Lihua glanced at them in confusion with the same thought, 'Did I say something wrong again?.'
