Later that evening, they transferred to Vaadhoo Island.

After dinner, the tour guide led them to that place.

Chen Lihua was dumbstruck at the scenario. This place was beautiful!

The sea of stars was like glowing blue waters. The glowing blue waters are caused by a natural chemical reaction known as bioluminescence.

When microorganisms in the water are disturbed by oxygen, the result is glittering and sparkling seawater.

As the waves crash on the beach, the water glows in the dark and gives the impression it is acting like a reflects the sparkling stars above.

The phytoplankton's blue glow is like a defense mechanism that wards off the Marine organisms from eating them.

Not everyone has the luck of seeing them, but because they came at the right time, they were able to see such a beautiful view and take pictures of it.

Chen Lihua couldn't help stepping into the water, as she did that, the blue lights came on strongly. She smiled like a child that has found a playground.

Liu Liwei, Liu Dongmei, and Liu Huiling couldn't help taking pictures of the sea of stars.

They admired the scenario with smiles.

"I've never seen something as beautiful as this. I feel like transporting them back home." Chen Lihua said as she glanced at the beautiful sea waves.

"This place is beautiful." Liu Huiling said as she closed her eyes to breathe the sea's air.

Chen Lihua wanted to touch the waters, but she could not. She was not alone now, and besides, she couldn't bend with ease, so she sighed regrettably.

Chen Lihua couldn't enjoy the beautiful scenario alone, so she called Liu Longwei on a video call to show him around.

"Darling take a look at this, isn't it beautiful?." Chen Lihua said immediately he answered the call, as she showed him around.

"It's beautiful." Liu Longwei replied as he glanced at the sea of stars without much interest. But seeing how excited his wife was, he smiled.

Chen Lihua swapped her phone camera (used her back camera instead of the front camera) so Liu Longwei could see his three siblings.

Seeing their eldest brother, they waved at him happily as they greeted him.

A smile appeared on Liu Longwei's face as he responded to their greetings.

Chen Lihua swapped the camera back so Liu Longwei could see her.

"You are happy?." Liu Longwei asked as he gazed at her.

"Yes."

Just then, the waves came crashing, and that caused the blue lights to appear. This alone caused excitement from the four adults.

Chen Lihua didn't want Liu Longwei to miss out on this, so she turned the camera so he could also partake in it.

After the excitement died down, Liu Longwei asked with a frown on his face. "You are not putting on any footwear?."

Chen Lihua glanced at her feet before looking back at him. "Who wears flip-flops to the beach?."

Liu Longwei sighed tiredly as he asked again. "Did you enter the water?."

"Mmmm." Chen Lihua replied.

Liu Longwei was speechless. Actually, he shouldn't have asked that question because he knew what his pretty wife was capable of doing.

He may have been trying his luck.

"Don't get into the water again, it's dangerous." He cautioned.

"Yes Sir." Chen Lihua replied.

After watching the sea of stars for what seemed to be an hour, they retired to their lodgings.

When they went back to their rooms, Liu Dongmei came knocking at Liu Huiling's door, but it took her a while to open the door.

Liu Dongmei was about asking, 'what took you so long?', but she paused in the middle of her sentence when she saw her face wasn't looking so good.

She shut the four behind her and followed her into the room.

"Ling?." She called out. "Are you pregnant?." She continued.

Liu Huiling paused in her steps for two seconds before going to her bed to sit.

"Yes." She answered.

"Wow! That's good news. But why are you trying to hide the fact that you are pregnant?." Liu Dongmei asked, confused about the whole thing.

"It's nothing." Liu Huiling replied.

"Does Zhang Wei know about this?." Liu Dongmei inquired as she sat next to her side.

"I haven't broken the news to him."

"I see... But why do I feel that you are not happy with his good news ?." Liu Dongmei asked.

She has noticed that her sister hasn't been in a good mood, but she still tried to play along with them.

"It's not like I'm not happy. It's just that I'm not ready for another child now. But I'm fine now, I am just trying to get through this morning sickness cause it's terrible." Liu Huiling replied

"What is going on between you and Zhang Wei?." Liu Dongmei inquired. She has been wanting to ask that question since a long time ago.

"Is it that obvious?." Liu Huiling asked tiredly.

"Yeah. Everybody can tell that things are not going smoothly between you two for a long while now." Liu Dongmei revealed as she gazed at her with worry written all over her face.

"I can't tell you much now, but Zhang Wei and I are not on good terms now. But we will talk about it later when I'm done figuring things out." Liu Huiling said in reply before adjusting to lie on the bed.

"Okay. At least, tell Zhang Wei about the pregnancy, you two need to fix things now you are pregnant." Liu Dongmei advised.

Liu Huiling heaved a sigh. "I will."

"Alright, take care. Good night." Liu Dongmei said as she blew a kiss to her.

Liu Huiling smiled as she caught the kiss.

"Good night." She replied in a soft tone.

After Liu Dongmei left, she stayed in that position for some minutes before picking up her phone to dial Zhang Wei's number.

At the second ring, the call connected.

"Ling, what's going on? You don't pick my calls." Zhang Wei said as soon as the call was connected.

"I have something I want us to talk about. But that will be when I come back." Liu Huiling notified.

"Ling, hope it's not divorce? I am already settling my mess, please give me some time." Zhang Wei pleaded.

"It's not about divorce." Liu Huiling said as she ended the call.
