Liu Longwei was not surprised he was used to it. It's just that he was avoiding it, but it still happened. What can he do?

Liu Longwei thought the next statement that would come out from her mouth would be for him to leave her room, but he waited and waited and didn't hear that, so he stayed.

He felt Her Royal Highness spared him today.

So what he did was to lay down beside her and tried reaching his arm out to her, but Chen Lihua shrugged it away.

He tried again, but before he could touch her, he heard her saying, "Baby can you allow Mama to sleep this night, can you at least try not to move in the middle of the night?." 

"Sweetheart, I'm sorry." Liu Longwei apologized, but the outcome was that he didn't receive any response whatsoever.

Being ignored didn't feel good at all!

"Let me sing to the baby." Liu Longwei suggested.

He didn't receive any reply, so he decided to try his luck. If he gets kicked out of the room, so be it.

This time around, Liu Longwei forgot about his title as the CEO of a conglomerate. All his titles were stopped off.

Right now, he was just a husband and father to be. He was doing his best to get on his wife's good side.

Liu Longwei stretched out his arm and held Chen Lihu's stomach as he began to sing to the baby.

As if the baby heard its father's voice, it calmed down and started listening to the song.

That worked like magic though.

Chen Lihua was surprised, but she refused to say anything.

When the baby stopped playing around, she fell into a deep sleep.

Liu Longwei sighed in relief as the mother and child slept. He hugged his wife and joined them as well.

These past few weeks and the present week, Chen Lihua has been entertaining her two mothers.

It wasn't weird for any of them to show up at her house to cook for her or to bring food for her.

Sometimes, both women came at the same time. It was fun to be in their midst, but sometimes it wasn't fun for Chen Lihua, especially when she gets kicked hardly by the baby.

This always pisses her off. But what can she do?

"What happened, did the baby kick you?." Lady Chen asked in concern as she noticed the frown on Chen Lihua's face.

"Yes, and the kick is so far. I mean, considering that it's still in the womb, and the kick is so painful." Chen Lihua complained.

"It's normal. You kicked me the same way as well." Lady Chen replied with a smile on her face.

Chen Lihua was not even in the mood to listen to that. She wanted to be consoled and not be reminded of what she did when she hasn't come into the world get.

How in the world was she supposed to know about that?!

She couldn't even remember what she did when she was a year or two old, and it's now this?...

"I think the baby is enjoying our conversation." Madam Liu said with a broad smile on her face as she tried to soothe the suffocating atmosphere.

Chen Lihua sighed for she didn't know what else to say again.

She felt that she was bearing a burden not meant for her. She was already tired of being pregnant and couldn't want to offload the baby in her stomach.

Sometimes, when she wanted to sleep at night, that would be the time the baby is awake and wants to play.

Other times, the baby will wake her in the middle of the night with a strong kick, and she would have to find something to eat if she still wanted to have a peaceful sleep for the rest of the night.

That means the baby wouldn't stay calm until she fills her stomach.

Chen Lihua feels so miserable most of the time for the lack of a good night's rest.

Sometimes, she feels pity for Liu Longwei who stays awake with her when the baby is awake.

Liu Longwei jas a lot of work to do these days, and he didn't need to be disturbed. He needed a good night's rest, but the baby says no, you must keep me company.

Chen Lihua just can't wait to give birth to the baby for she was tired and getting frustrated as the goes by.

She didn't sign up for this when she was coming into the world.

How come no one told her that it wasn't an easy journey to motherhood?

Because she didn't want Liu Longwei to be affected because he has to sleep late and leave for work early in the morning, she asked him to go back to his bedroom, but he refused that idea, insisting that he would bear the same pressure and troubles with her.

He said, "How can I have a peaceful night's rest when I know my wife is not having it easy?."

Chen Lihua felt touched by his words.

This was the man she married, the man that loves and cares so much for her. The man that considers her whenever he wanted to take any decision, was her man.

And for that reason, Chen Lihua started trying her best to keep her temper in check.

Today, Liu Longwei followed Chen Lihua for her doctor's appointment, and to find out the sex of the baby.

"It's a boy!." The doctor announced happily.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei had smiles on their faces when their baby's gender was revealed to them.

They were going to be proud parents of a son very soon.

The doctor advised them on what to look at.

"Have you thought of where you want to have the baby?." The doctor asked them.

"At home. She would have the baby at home." Liu Longwei replied immediately. 

"At home?. Why?." Chen Lihua asked with a stupefied expression on her face.
