"Do...do you not like me anymore? Why...why a..are you so mean to me?." Chen Lihua managed to ask as she breathed heavily.

Liu Longwei was surprised by the sudden question.

Where was that question coming from?

"Sweetheart, what are you saying? I love you so much, and I will never stop loving you till the end of time!."

Liu Longwei gazed at her baby bump that was heaving up and down. He was so scared that her stomach would burst open, so he tried his best to get her to stop crying.

Chen Lihua had a hand on her baby bump, while the other hand wiped off the tears on her face. But she just wouldn't stop crying.

"You just spoke to me rudely... Since we got to know each other, you have never spoken to me that way! Do you hate me now that I'm pregnant, and no longer looking as beautiful as before?." Chen Lihua asked as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

Liu Longwei was truly shocked.

Where were all these coming from?.

If possible, he wanted to take a look at her brain. Why was she being so unreasonable?

Has the pregnancy hormone kicked off again?.

Liu Longwei took a deep breath to calm down. "My love, I will never hate you, I will always love you. I'm sorry for being mean to you, okay?."

Chen Lihua sniffed as she wiped her tears. She didn't reply to him and instead laid down on the bed with her back towards him.

"Sweetheart, I'm very sorry. I promise to never talk to you that way again. I'm sorry for making you cry." Liu Longwei apologized as he shook her body gently.

Chen Lihua refused to say anything to him. From sniffing, she started to cry again.

Liu Longwei was surprised by her sudden action. He thought that he was finally close to placating her, but who knew that she would start to cry all over again?

He hurriedly brought her up and helped her into a sitting post. He tried wiping her tears as he apologized again.

"My Love, I'm so sorry. Please look at me. I promise not to be rude or mean to you. If I go against my word, then you can punish me however you want, but please, stop crying. I hate to see tears on your face." Liu Longwei said with pain in his heart.

He couldn't bear to see the woman he loved so much cry or be in discomfort. He would kill anyone that would try to hurt her, and for that reason, he would never hurt her.

Chen Lihua shrugged his hands away as she stood up from the bed.

Liu Longwei couldn't hold her forcefully for he was scared of hurting her. But he chased after her and stood at a close distance from her.

Chen Lihua entered the bathroom, but when she tried closing the door behind her, Liu Longwei pushed it open and came inside.

She ignored him and went ahead to use the water system toilet🚽.

Liu Longwei stood close to her and he watched her do her business.

When she raised the nightdress she was putting on to sit on the toilet seat 🚽, Liu Longwei saw the baby bump, and his heart was filled with guilt.

'Was he not worse than an animal for making his pregnant wife cry?.' He thought with pain in his heart.😟

Chen Lihua flushed the toilet after peeing, before going to wash her hands at the sink with tears rolling down her cheeks 😭.

She Dried her hands with a hand towel before going back to the room to sit on the bed.

Liu Longwei came to stand in front of her, before suddenly going on his knees.

Chen Lihua was shocked by his actions. So she tried standing up from the bed to move away, but Liu Longwei pinned her down firmly.

"You...you. What are you doing?." Chen Lihua asked in a hoarse voice. She was scared out of her wits.

Liu Longwei remained on his knees as he took her hands in his. "Sweetheart, I'm sorry. Please don't cry anymore. You can hit me if you want to if that will make you stop crying."

"What... What are you saying? I will not hit you, please stand up." Chen Lihua said with much urgency in her voice as she wiped her tear-stained face.

"I will not get up, till you forgive me." Liu Longwei insisted to remain to kneel.

Since Chen Lihua couldn't bear to watch her beloved husband kneel before her, she urged him to stand up after assuring him that she had already forgiven him.

Getting her assurance, Liu Longwei stood to his feet and sat beside her on the bed.

Next, he hugged her as he sniffed her body scent. "I love you, and I'm sorry for bringing tears to your eyes."

"I love you too." Chen Lihua said softly as she sniffed again.

Liu Longwei kissed her cheeks and then placed a hand on her protruded stomach. He caressed it with love in his heart.

"Baby, Dad is sorry for making you and Mum cry. I'm sorry, please forgive me."

"How did you make the baby cry?." Chen Lihua asked as she gazed at him in confusion 😕.

"The Doctor said that our baby is now sensitive to sound, and I'm sure it can sense your emotions too. So by sensing your emotions, it will not be happy." Liu Longwei said with much wisdom.

"Yeah, it's true." Chen Lihua agreed with him.

Liu Longwei kissed her cheek before helping her to lie properly on the bed.

As he laid on the bed, he hugged her from behind and used the other can't caress her baby bump.

"Sweetheart?." Liu Longwei called in a gentle tone.

"Mmm..."

"Tell me when you want to visit your friend, so I can go with you."

"What? I'm allowed to go see my friend?." Chen Lihua asked in shock 😲 as she turned her body towards him.

"Why not?." Liu Longwei asked as he leaned in to kiss her lips.

"Thank you!." Chen Lihua said happily as she stretched her hands to hug him, forgetting the baby bump in between.
