"What?! Father has been cheating on mother for such a long time?!." Liu Liwei looked quite shocked on getting the whole gist.

"Now you see why locked him up." Liu Longwei said as he drank from his wine glass.

"I never knew father could be this shameless, he even tried to escape." Liu Liwei said in a shocked tone.

There was a minute silence as Liu Liwei allowed the information he got to sink into his head.

"What about mum, what should we say to her?." Liu Liwei asked.

"Don't tell her anything, she doesn't need to know." Liu Longwei said.

"Won't this be us betraying her as well? She deserves to know about her husband's unfaithfulness, it would be so unfair to leave her in the dark, and acting as if everything is fine." Liu Liwei said in an agitated tone.

"Mother has a weak heart, she will not be able to take this news. She has trusted father for so many years, this news will wreck her." Liu Longwei reminded.

"Then what see we going to do? What are we going to tell her if she asks about Dad?."

"Leave her be, father will settle it because he doesn't want mother to find out." Liu Longwei said.

Liu Liwei sighed. "How long are you going to keep him locked up?. Mum will soon start to suspect that something is wrong if father doesn't come home soon."

"You do not have to worry about it, father will take care of it. He would have to make excuses for himself. I plan to keep him under watch and house arrest for as long as possible. That's the least punishment I could give him." Liu Longwei said as he stood up from the sofa and returned to his work desk.

"I hope he doesn't have any child outside since he has been cheating for such a long time." Liu Liwei said as he turned to glance at Liu Longwei.

"I have no idea about that, but I'm on the lookout in case such a thing happened." Liu Longwei said as he opened the drawer attached to the table and searched for something.

"I'm unhappy about this news. When Dad called me, he didn't tell me about this, he only said I should ask you to release him." Liu Liwei said in a bitter tone.

"Do you think he would tell you his sins?." Liu Longwei commented as he brought out a pile of documents from the drawer, and started going through them.

"I'm sorry for mum. She will break down if she hears this news. She has loved father and cared for him since they got married, and now, father is returning her sacrifice with this nonsensical act."

"Bro, what do you say if we tell grandma about this, she will surely get justice for mum." Liu Liwei suggested.

He was looking for a way to punish his father because he felt that being under house arrest wasn't enough.

"The punishment I gave to him is enough. I don't think you know what it means for your freedom to be taken away from you, do you want to give it a try?." Liu Longwei asked with a smug look on his face.

"No, thank you, I'm not interested." Liu Liwei replied immediately.

He would probably go if he were to find himself in such a situation.

His father's case was worst because his movements and communication were restricted, and he wasn't given any work to do.

So he just sat at home in one of the properties he has outside country C and watched the view.

That is the worst punishment you could ever give to a businessman that used to be vibrant in his younger days.

It was not a funny and easy situation at all!

"Grandma would have punished him more though." Liu Liwei hinted.

"When I'm satisfied with him having a troubled mind, and begging me one thousand times, I will think about his release. Then maybe you can report him to grandmother." Liu Longwei said.

"That would be perfect. Imagine receiving one punishment after another, that would be interesting to watch." Liu Liwei said as his voice came to life.

"Bro, I have to go now, I have got some plots to come up with."

Liu Liwei is an actor and a producer who is aiming to be a sought-after screenwriter. So he was talking about going home to plot some scenes in other to teach his father some lessons.

He was really bent on punishing his father.

"Lihua had the chefs prepare something for you, don't you want to eat them?." Liu Longwei asked, stopping him in his tracks.

"Wow! Sister-in-law ordered food for me?." Liu Liwei asked as he became more excited.

"Well, I will have to eat them before stepping out from your house." Liu Liwei said as he left the study room.

He was actually interested in the goodies his sister-in-law arranged for him.

Liu Longwei shook his head as he watched his brother leave in a hurry.

'He didn't even ask me to lead the way.' He thought.

Liu Longwei left his study and went to check on Chen Lihua.

As he walked into her bedroom, Chen Lihua raised her head to stare in his direction.

"Did I wake you?." Liu Longwei asked in a gentle voice as he came to sit on the bed.

"No, I was already conscious right before you came in." Chen Lihua replied.

Liu Longwei turned on the lights to see her tired face.

"Are you hungry?." He asked in concern.

"Yeah, I'm so hungry right now." Chen Lihua replied as she managed a smile.

"Okay, let's get you something to eat. Liwei is already at the dining room." Liu Longwei revealed.

"That's good. I would be glad to be accompanied by another family member." Chen Lihua said as she tried to up.

Liu Longwei saw her struggling to sit up, and so helped her up.

"Am I not enough to accompany you?." Liu Longwei asked as he held her hand and escorted her out of the room.

"The more the merrier." Chen Lihua said as a pleasant smile appeared on her face.

She could tell her husband was jealous.
