"Father will settle it. I didn't restrict his communication. Don't worry, he should be the one worried that mum will find out about his faithfulness. And in other to assure her, he would call her and come up with excuses so that she won't be worried." Liu Longwei explained.

"Okay. Since you had the mind to punish your father, I am convinced in my spirit that you also punished that woman. What kind of punishment did you give to her?." Chen Lihua asked as she laid comfortably on his chest.

Liu Longwei patted her back as he replied. "I had her locked up somewhere, but she would be released in the next twenty-four hours."

Chen Lihua glanced at him in surprise, "Just that?."

"No, that wouldn't seem like a punishment at all. I had her locked up with no food, Then after she is released, she would be coping with her ruined career." Liu Longwei revealed his plans to her.

"Well, that's fair enough. I mean, who asked her to chase after a married man, someone old enough to be her father?." Chen Lihua said, not taking pity on the young woman's situation.

If she was in her mother-in-law's shoes, she might even have the lady killed or maybe done something worse to ruin her reputation. That is her mean she can be if she ever finds herself in that relationship.

Her husband's past was his past, but he shouldn't ever think of cheating on her, otherwise, the consequences would be daring.

Liu Longwei cuddled her as he revealed his hidden agenda "I wanted to get rid of her for good, But then I thought about our baby. I don't want to get blood on my hands, so I decided to spare her life, and give her a punishment worse than death. Who knows, she might end up killing herself if she can not bear to live with her shame."

'I guess we are in the same shoes.' Chen Lihua said to herself.

The reason she said something like this to herself, was because she and Liu Longwei had similar plans of killing in that kind of situation.

Chen Lihua sighed as she spoke up after a minute of silence. "I don't know which light to see Father in now. I don't think I can still give him the same respect as before."

"There is no need to worry about that, you can just greet him casually. If he wants respect from anybody, then he has to earn it, and not command it." Liu Longwei said in reply.

"Aww! You are so sweet." Chen Lihua said as she giggled like a child.

"Sweeter than honey?" Liu Longwei asked with a charming smile on his face, as he lowered his head to brush his lips against hers.

"Mmmmm." Chen Lihua hummed in reply. As she couldn't talk because of Liu Longwei's actions, she had to reply in that manner.

"Do you want to taste how sweet I am?." Liu Longwei asked in a suggestive tone.

"Go away! All you can think of is how to bully me." Chen Lihua responded as she gently hit his chest.

Liu Longwei asked as he feigned ignorance "Who said anything about wanting to bully you?."

"I know you, you are a bad person." Chen Lihua said as she closed her eyes.

"Liu Longwei chuckled softly as he gazed at her. Then he remembered something.

"Mum said she would come tomorrow morning to make breakfast for you."

Chen Lihua's eyes immediately shot open at the new information. "What did you tell her?."

"That you were not eating." Liu Longwei confessed.

Chen Lihua stared at him speechlessly "It seems like you can not handle me alone, so you went to ask for help."

"You can say that. Try to get some sleep, it's late already." Liu Longwei said to her as he caressed her cheek.

"Goodnight." Chen Lihua said to him before closing her eyes.

"Goodnight my sweetheart." Liu Longwei replied as he kissed her forehead before closing his eyes to sleep.

The next morning, Chen Lihua woke up late. She turned to look at the other side of the bed and found it empty. So she sat up on the bed and got into a yoga position to practice her meditation.

After that, she washed up before going downstairs for breakfast.

Downstairs, she saw her two mothers (Lady Chen and Madam Liu), placing several dishes on the dining table.

Immediately they caught sight of her, they hurried to her side with smiles on their faces before gently pulling her towards the dining area.

Chen Lihua greeted them and asked, "Am I safe?."

"Yes, you are safe." Madam Liu said in reply as she drew out a seat for her.

Lady Chen served her a plate of rice as she said, "Sit down and eat."

Chen Lihua looked around the living area, and catching the shadow of the familiar person, she asked as she picked up her spoon.

"Mum, where is my husband?."

"He already left for work." Lady Chen replied as she drew out two seats for her and Madam Liu.

"Oh." Chen Lihua exclaimed before she started eating.

The two mothers sat on each of her sides and kept piling up some side dishes on her plate.

Chen Lihua kept telling them that she could eat by herself, but no one paid any attention to her words, so she gave up and ate whatever she put on her plate.

"Mum, I'm okay." Chen Lihua said after eating not up to half of her food.

"That's not possible, you have to eat more, Look at you, you are so skinny." Lady Chen said to her with furrowed brows.

"Lihua, you have to eat enough for you and the baby. Longwei said you haven't been eating much these days, so we came to cook for you. Try to eat more, the food was carefully prepared just for you." Madam Liu said to her in a kind manner.

Chen Lihua glanced at her and remembered her father-in-law's actions
