Chen Lihua glanced at him from the mirror and didn't say anything to him.

"Did you throw up?." Liu Longwei asked after he studied her appearance.

She looked so tired, she splashed her face with water, and she was standing in front of the sink.

These three things he noticed, gave him the idea that she must have thrown up the food she ate this night.

"Mmmmmm." Chen Lihua hummed in reply, for she was too tired to say anything.

Liu Long felt sorry for her, so he said to her as he came to stand beside her and placed a hand on her waist "Sorry. How do you feel now?."

"I'm fine now." Chen Lihua replied.

They two stared at each other for a while, before Liu Longwei took back his gaze as he picked up a face towel to gently wipe her face with it.

Liu Longwei spread the face towel on the towel rack, before escorting her to the bedroom with a hand on her shoulder.

As he helped her sit comfortably on the bed, he asked. "Your stomach must be empty now, do you have anything you want to eat, tell me, I will send someone to get it for you."

"I don't want to eat anything, because I am scared that I will throw it up...it's so tiring." Chen Lihua complained in a bitter tone.

"Sweetheart, you have to try and eat something, for you and the baby. If you don't eat anything, our baby will not be healthy." Liu Longwei said to her.

"I don't want to eat anything. I'm afraid that if I continue like this, I won't only wretch my guts out, I might even throw up the baby as well." Chen Lihua complained.

Liu Longwei chuckled softly as she caressed her face with his hand. "How do you think it's possible to throw up your baby?."

"Don't be surprised that it's possible." Chen Lihua said in reply as a slight smile appeared on her face.

"Silly girl! I know you are hungry, but you don't want to eat because you are scared of throwing up, but you can't go to bed hungry. So, I will go out to get you something to eat. If you need anything, a maid will be just outside the door to help you out." Liu Longwei said as he kissed her lips gently, before standing to his feet.

Chen Lihua covered her mouth with her palm as she glanced at him with a frown on her face.

"What's wrong? You don't like my kisses anymore?." Liu Longwei asked with his hands in his trouser pockets.

"It's not that, I just threw up, and you are kissing me already, that's the fact I don't like." Chen Lihua explained.

"There is nothing wrong with it. It's not like you didn't brush your teeth after that." Liu Longwei replied, not bothered about the matter.

"But....." Chen Lihua managed to say before she was cut off.

"There are no buts. As far as I'm not bothered, you don't have to be bothered." Liu Longwei said to her with a gentle smile on his face.

"Alright, I'm off now. I case you suddenly have any craving, call me, I promise, I will get you what you want, provided that it is not harmful to you and the baby." Liu Longwei assured her as he picked up his car key and wallet.

He kissed her goodbye, before leaving the room.

Chen Lihua smiled to herself before going ahead with her work. She was researching to see if there were any new techniques on some surgeries she would be performing in the month, that have a lower risk.

She missed her work, and she can't wait to get back to it. She felt that by now, a lot of people that have heart troubles, would be worried sick, and looking for solutions to their problems.

Those are the kind of people that needed her attention and help.

Few minutes into her work, her stomach made a rumbling sound. So she lowered her head and rubbed her stomach with her hand.

Next, she started speaking to her baby in a gentle voice "Baby, are you hungry as well? Mum is sorry for starving you."

Chen Lihua was not expecting to get a reply, so she smiled when her stomach rumbled again. She was getting really hungry

She got out of bed and opened the door to her bedroom, to see a servant standing right outside the door, just like Liu Longwei told her.

The servant immediately bowed to Chen Lihua when the door opened.

"Get the chefs to make me a pudding." Chen Lihua instructed. Then the servant asked her what kind of pudding she liked, and how she wanted it.

But Chen Lihua didn't know the kind of pudding she wanted she didn't know what she wanted to eat, so she just said pudding.

Now asking her the type of pudding she wanted, is a difficult question to answer.

"Tell them to make any kind of pudding, I will be fine with whatever they bring to me." Chen Lihua said after much thought.

Having received instructions from her, the servant hurried away, as Chen Lihua went back to the room.

"Baby doesn't worry, Mum will get you something to eat." Chen Lihua spoke to the baby as she rubbed her stomach before sitting on the bed to try and continue with her work.

Fifteen minutes later, a dessert plate of sweet milk pudding, was brought for her.

Chen Lihua smiled and said to herself, 'Finally, I can feed my baby.'

Chen Lihua put a spoon of the desert into her mouth. Then instead of a smile, her face was laced with a frown.

She had a hard time swallowing the food.

The servant by the side saw her that she didn't like the food after making out her facial expression. The young servant began to wonder if the Chefs were now slacking off.

After managing to swallow the food in her mouth, Chen Lihua wiped her lips with the napkin before saying to the servant.

"I'm sorry to trouble, please take this dish away."

"Ma'am you didn't like the food, then do you want something else?." The servant asked worriedly.

"No, I'm fine. Take the food away. Instead of wasting it, eat it." Chen Lihua said to her.

The servant didn't have anything to say, for she had to do as her master has commanded.

The servant thanked Chen Lihua before leaving with the food. She felt lucky that she has the opportunity to taste the food from the Michelin chefs. But she was somewhat scared that the food wouldn't be edible since her female Boss rejected it.

But because of Chen Lihua's instructions, she didn't dare to disobey her, so she transferred the pudding to another plate, before taking a bite.
