It's a new day today, and joyful morning.

Lady Chen visited her daughter with some members of the Chen Family.

She came with Chen K, Aunt Lin, and her daughter, and a few of her female cousins.

Trust Lady Chen to not come empty-handed, of course, she brought a whole load of foodstuff with her.

She even cooked several healthy dishes beneficial for a pregnant woman.

"Mum why did you have to bring all these things?." Chen Lihua asked with wide eyes as she glanced over the huge items her mother brought over.

"Other daughters would have been happy if their mother brought them expensive items to look after them, but your case proved to be different." Lady Chen said as she pulled her to sit beside her.

Liu Longwei smiled as he watched the mother and daughter banter.

Chen Lihua's cousin's congratulated them happily, and Chen Lihua replied to them politely, for she was not close to them apart from Aunt Lin's daughter.

"Aunt Lin thanks for visiting, but you shouldn't have made the trouble of coming down here despite your health challenges." Chen Lihua said to Aunt Lin, who was looking tired.

"The trouble is worth it, as far as I get to see you before traveling for my treatment." Aunt Lin responded with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, Aunt." Chen Lihua replied happily.

She was happy that her relationship with her Aunt was a hundred (100) times better than how it used to be.

Chen Lihua got the chefs to serve them some special delicacies from the New Year.

They dinned merrily as they engaged in conversations.

"Lihua makes sure to finish the soup, it's very nutritious for your baby." Lady Chen reminded carefully as she watched her daughter drink the soup.

"Yeah, I know." Chen Lihua replied as she drank up the soup.

"Look how obedient you are." Liu Longwei whispered to her ear.

"Of course, I have always been obedient." Chen Lihua whispered back to him.

"Yeah, you have always been an obedient girl, but not since you became pregnant. It seems like you are adamant about not listening to me." Liu Longwei whispered back to her before smiling at Lady Chen.

"You have to be tolerant of my behavior this time around, I'm carrying our child, or do you regret it." Chen Lihua asked, totally enjoying this.

"How can I regret it?". Liu Longwei asked before turning to continue eating his food.

After Lady Chen and her entourage left, the Liu family sent another set of health tonics and some food items.

Chen Lihua could only stare at them helplessly.

She glanced at Liu Longwei and caught him staring at her with a big smile on her face.

"What is the intention behind all of these? Are they having plans on fattening me up?." Chen Lihua asked him.

"Who knows. Come on, let's go out to buy the drugs the doctor prescribed for you and the baby." Liu Longwei said as he gently pulled her out of the house.

"Oh no! I'm not going anywhere." Chen Lihua said as she struggled to take her hands off his grasp, but he was too strong for her.

"Be good. The doctor said the drugs will be good for the child especially. Don't you want to give birth to a healthy child?." Liu Longwei asked her.

"Of course I want to give birth to a healthy child. Who on earth doesn't want to have healthy children?." Chen Lihua inquired with a slight frown on her face.

"People that do not obey the doctor's instructions." Liu Longwei replied as he pulled her forward.

"But I hate drugs. Just the thought if it is making me feel nauseous." Chen Lihua said, her face not looking too good.

Liu Longwei immediately stopped in his tracks when he heard her say she was feeling nauseous.

So he asked her in a concerned tone, "Do you feel like throwing up? Let's go back into the house." He suggested as he made a move to change their course of direction back into the house.

Chen Lihua stopped him immediately, as she had an idea of what he was thinking about.

"Wait a minute. I am not feeling nauseous because of the pregnancy, rather it's because of the drugs. Thinking about it, it's already giving me a headache."

"Oh! In that case, we have to quickly go and get your drugs." Liu Longwei said as he lifted her immediately, but his actions caused her to become dizzy.

"What's wrong? What happened?." He asked in a panicked voice when he saw the frown on her face, and how she shut her eyes and placed a hand on her temples.

"I just felt slightly dizzy, but I'm fine now." Chen Lihua assured him with a smile on her face.

"I'm sorry. Should I put you down?". Liu Longwei asked as he still stood in place.

"No, it's fine now." Chen Lihua replied as she hugged his neck.

Liu Longwei lowered his head to kiss her forehead. Then with her in his arms, he directed carried her into the car.

When they got to the drug store, Liu Longwei held Chen Lihua's hand as they walked into the store.

A wave of nausea hit Chen Lihua immediately she walked into the drug store and perceived the smell of drugs.

She immediately covered her mouth with her hand as she used the other hand to drag Liu Longwei's sleeve to get his attention.

Liu Longwei turned to look at her and saw that she wasn't looking well, added to the hand she covered her mouth with.

"What is it?." He asked in a panic.

Chen Lihua murmured and made some signs with her body.

Liu Longwei understood her immediately and turned to ask one of the nurses for the direction to their restroom.

He helped Chen Lihua who was half running and walking at the same time, to get there.

When they got to the restroom, Chen Lihua gave him a sign not to come in as it was for the female, but Liu Longwei was not in the mood to follow protocols, so he followed her inside.

Chen Lihua couldn't hold on any longer or bother with him, because it was too late.

She threw up on her hands and the floor before she managed to reach the sink before throwing up the rest in there.
