Chen Lihua being with child is indeed a great news to both families. It seems like they have always wanted them to have their children. But since they couldn't interfere in their relationship, they kept mute and watched on.

Now discovering this good news, they are very excited and can not wait for the child to be born.

After taking a walk to help her food digest, Chen Lihua went back to her and Liu Longwei's bedroom.

While walking up the stairs, Liu Longwei kept telling her to be careful and to watch her steps.

"Why are you so worked up? I've been going up these stairs for a long time all by myself, so what is the difference now?". Chen Lihua asked.

"Before, you climbed the stairs all by yourself, but now, you are not alone....you are with child, and that is the difference." Liu Longwei reminded.

"Alright I know, I will be more careful." Chen Lihua replied as she allowed him to guide the rest of her way, up the stairs.

Lady Chen planned to go and check up on her daughter at the Liu Vila later today, but she was stopped by Chen K, just after she dressed up.

"Hubby please....". Lady Chen pleaded as she dropped her handbag on the bed.

"There is no way I'm letting you go to the Liu Villa." Chen K said stubbornly.

"But it's our daughter I'm going to check up on." Lady Chen clarified.

"I thought you did enough of that when you phoned her earlier?" Chen K exposed her.

"You saw me?" Lady Chen asked in surprise.

"I heard you." Chen K answered.

"Hubby, please let me go and see our daughter, she needs me..." Lady Chen pleaded again.

"No. Who knows if your visit won't turn into a vigil. Stay here and plan for the party today. You will have more than enough opportunities to see visit our daughter after she returns to her house." Chen K said as he sat on the couch in the room.

"Hmm!" Lady Chen sighed angrily.

Her plans have been ruined by this man, and she is not happy about it.

"Since you don't want me to visit our daughter, please leave my bedroom, you have overstayed your welcome here." She said, chasing him out from her room.

Chen K glared at her with an annoyed look.

"Stop glaring at me and find your way." Lady When insisted as she sat on her bed, with enough gap between them.

"Fine! I will leave, as far as it will make you not to step out from this house today." Chen K said as he stood up from her bed and walked out from her bedroom after giving her one last look.

Lady Chen stomped her foot in annoyance, before standing up and walking away to change out from her dress.

Since Chen K came back, he has been sharing a separate bedroom from her, simply because she didn't want it.

No matter Chen K's pleadings to her, she refused to make any adjustment.

Lady Chen planned on ignoring Chen K throughout the new year's day, but she found out that she was wrong, so she changed her decision.

Her husband knew her very well.

He knew that she would spend the rest of the day, and possibly the night at the Liu's Villa if care was not taken.

Secondly, she was Chen's family's Matriarch, who was she leaving her duties for?

Around 4 pm, both families started the party for new year's day.

Chen Lihua was not allowed to do anything, other than to eat, drink, and watch the fun.

Just sitting there and not participating in any activity, was driving her crazy. She was feeling very bored and out of her mind.

Not being able to swallow these down, Chen Lihua whispered to Liu Longwei who was sitting beside her and also not partaking in the activities.

"Darling, help me beg grandma to allow me to join them. I am so bored sitting here by myself, and not doing anything."

"Am I not enough to accompany you? Even if you say that I'm not enough, I still won't comply with you. You should be pleading with me to allow you to participate in the activities, instead of getting me to ask grandma on your behalf. Have you forgotten who the Boss is?" Liu Longwei asked.

Chen Lihua thought of something and smiled immediately after an idea struck her.

She smiled and decided to curry favor with him.

Liu Longwei knew what tactics she would play next, but he allowed her to express herself on purpose.

Chen Lihua held his arm as she smiled and said, "Darling, please allow your baby to have a little fun. Your baby is bored not being able to put its body to good use."

Liu Longwei took his hand away from her grasp. "Our baby is too young to have that kind of thoughts. For your information, you will sit here and watch the rest continue with the strenuous exercises."

"But this is the first New year I'm celebrating with you and the family, I am allowed to have some fun at least...." Chen Lihua said as she is starting to get annoyed.

"We still have many years ahead for you to celebrate New year with us." Liu Longwei replied.

"Can I unpregnant myself?". Chen Lihua asked and rolled her eyes thereafter.

"Even if that was possible, I will never allow that. Just relax, when we see the doctor tomorrow, and after she has checked on you and the baby and confirmed that you both are 100% safe, you are then free to ask any questions, like some activities you can do at this stage."

"You sound like a health consultant. I think you would do a better job than me, so do you mind exchanging our works?." Chen Lihua asked.

She was so annoyed that she didn't know what else to say.

Liu Longwei was making it look like being pregnant was a bad thing, and she is not liking that thought at all.
