"How do you think Brother would dare to be mean to one person he can not do without?." Lu Huiling asked her while wondering the kind of dumb brain her junior sister had.

"Lihua now that you're pregnant, you have us to take good care of you. If you have any questions, you can ask us." Liu Huiling turned to Chen Lihua to say.

"Thank you, Sister Ling, I will be troubling you in the future." Chen Lihua replied with a smile.

Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling didn't stay long with her. They chatted with her for a few more minutes before leaving.

"They have left?." Liu Longwei asked as he stepped out of the walk-in closet a minute later.

"Yes." Chen Lihua replied with a smile.

Liu Longwei walked towards her. He sat on the bed beside her and held her hands as he gently squeezed them.

"Thank you for carrying our baby." Liu Longwei said as he kissed the back of her hands.

Chen Lihua smiled as she leaned on his shoulder.

At the other Villa, the Chen Villa, Lady Chen was so happy to receive such good news at the break of the new year's day.

She immediately shared the good news with all the Chen family members.

And with great joy in their hearts, they celebrated the good news and even popped some wine.

Lady Chen was overjoyed that she became restless and impatient. She couldn't wait to hear from her daughter, so she picked up her phone to make a call, but Chen K stopped her.

He took the phone from her hands as he said to her with a smile.

"I know you are happy and worried. You can't wait to speak with our daughter. But you have to exercise a little patient. Our daughter is in safe hands".

"How can I stay calm. My daughter has been pregnant all this while, and nobody knew about it. They had to find out because she fainted." Lady Chen said in reply.

"Alright. If you want to speak with our daughter, go ahead. But you have to allow her rest for some hours." Chen K instructed.

Lady Chen agreed on the spot. But what was it that she did when she was left alone? She called her daughter immediately.

So Chen Lihua who was snuggled in her husband's embrace and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere was interrupted by the call.

"I will get the phone for you." Liu Longwei said as he stood up to get the phone. He passed the phone to her without checking the caller ID.

Chen Lihua took the phone from him. She checked her caller ID and smiled.

"It's my mum, seems like she can not wait any longer." She said to him.

"Hello, Mum." Chen Lihua greeted with a smile even though her mother couldn't see it.

"My Baby congratulations! You are going to be a mother soon. I am so happy for you. I have already informed the rest of the family, they are happy to share the good news with us. Everybody is excited to hear the news that we celebrated it. How are you? How is the baby? What did the doctor say after the checkup? Have you eaten? Do you feel any...."

"Mum! Calm down, take it easy with the questions. I'm fine, and the baby is fine as well. Longwei and I will go to see the doctor tomorrow, and then we will find out about a lot of things". Chen Lihua said in reply.

"That's good. How is Longwei? How did he react when he found out about the pregnancy?." Lady Chen inquired.

"Longwei is fine. I do not know how he reacted because he passed out. But he is happy, and can't wait to be a father already." Chen Lihua responded happily as she glanced at Liu Longwei, who smiled back at her.

"That's good. Have you eaten?." Lady Chen asked.

"Not yet, but mother has gone to make me breakfast." She replied.

"Okay. Pass the phone to my son-in-law." Lady Chen requested.

Liu Longwei took the phone from her. "Hello, Mum."

"Congratulations Longwei!." Lady Chen announced excitedly as she went on to converse with him. She gave him some helpful advice.

After the call, the time was just right for Madam Liu to come knocking on their door.

She came to tell Chen Lihua that the food was ready.

At the breakfast table, Chen Lihua was the center of attention. Her husband and mother-in-law kept piling up food for her.

"Lihua dear, eat this it's good for Vitamins and Minerals." Madam Liu advised as she put some vegetables in front of her.

"You are too thin, eat more." Liu Longwei said as he put more food on her plate.

Chen Lihua glanced at the food before her as she chewed on the one in her mouth. Then she glanced at her Liu Longwei and Madam Liu, who in turn had smiles on their faces as they returned the gaze.

Chen Lihua then glanced at other members of the family at the big dining table and found out that they all had their gazes on her. But when they found out she was looking their way, they immediately lowered their heads to eat their food.

Chen Lihua looked away and moved her gaze back to the food before her.

Old Madam Liu glanced at Chen Lihua and saw that she wasn't looking too well, so she said to her with a smile.

"Lihua, you have to eat for you and the baby. You fainted earlier because you've been stressed for a long time. You need to eat good food to notorious your body."

"Thank you, grandma." Chen Lihua replied after she swallowed the food in her mouth. Then she picked up her spoon and began to eat.

Chen Lihua made sure to eat everything in her plate.

After breakfast, Old Madam Liu instructed Liu Longwei to take a walk with Chen Lihua so her food could digest easily, since she looked uncomfortable.

"Mother, but the weather cold, is it advisable?." Madam Liu asked.

"It's snowing. Although the weather is cold, a five minutes walk when dressed up warmly, will not do any harm. Besides, who said they can only walk around outside? What happened to the corridors and verandas in this Big house?." The Old Lady asked.
