"I never knew that such a thing happened to her, no wonder she reacted that way." Liu Hunag said.

"Mother, what caused her friend to turn out that way?." Liu Longwei asked, for he knew that something big must have caused Lihua's friend to be crazy.

"Her father was murdered right in front of her, while she watched her mother being raped and shot thereafter." Lady Chen explained painfully.

"What!." Madam Liu screamed in surprise.

The thought of the pains that girl went through in her teenage years, caused them to feel for her.

"I will go and check up on Lihua." Liu Longwei said and left their presence without waiting for a reply.

He searched for Chen Lihua in her bedroom and his bedroom, but he couldn't find her, so he became worried and asked the servants to search for her all over the house in case she was hiding somewhere.

He even called her on phone, but in turned out that she left her phone in the sitting room where their parents were discussing.

Liu Longwei didn't want to alarm their parents, so he continued searching for her on his own. He left the house through another door, as he decided to look for her in the compound, and even ask his chief bodyguard to find her through the CCTV cameras.

As he couldn't shout her name so their parents wouldn't find out that he was looking for her, he had to take a longer time searching for her.

"Boss, Ma'am didn't leave the house, she has been here all this while." AD reported to Liu Longwei.

"Where is she?." Liu Longwei asked sharply.

"On the rooftop." AD replied as he passed the tablet in his hand to him.

Liu Longwei took the tablet from him as his gaze immediately moved to the screen. He saw Chen Lihua standing on the rooftop silently with folded arms.

He couldn't even tell what she was looking at, but that's not the point. The point is that his wife who has acrophobia, and has never stood at the rooftop in daytime, was currently standing there, and even close to the point that if she wasn't careful, a little slip could make her fall to her death.

"Watch her."

Liu Longwei immediately passed the tablet to AD, and left hurriedly after giving out the instruction.

In less than two minutes, Liu Longwei was at the rooftop. And because of his hurried steps, Chen Lihua knew that someone was there, so she turned to see who was there.

When she turned and saw that he was the one, she turned back to looking at the beautiful view at the rooftop without any change in her facial expression, completely ignoring her husband.

"Sweetheart, I have been looking all over the house for you, what are you doing standing there, come over to this side, that place is dangerous." Liu Longwei said in a calm manner.

He was shocked at this new version of his wife. His wife left crying, and within few minutes, she turned into an indifferent person. Can someone please tell him what was going on?.

"Darling you know I've been thinking, 'What if I jump down from this place, will I die or will my bones be shattered?'." Chen Lihua asked in a mild tone without looking at him.

"Baby what nonsense are you talking about? Why would you have those absurd thoughts? I know you are tired, please come to the room and rest." Liu Longwei said in a serious tone as he took careful steps towards her, but deep down his heart, he was very scared.

Was his wife thinking of committing suicide?.

Chen Lihua turned to look at him, thereby backing the beautiful view. And if not careful, a slip is all it would take, and she would be falling off the rooftop in no time.

This action of hers caused Liu Longwei's heart to drop. Even AD that was watching them from the tablet in his hands, was so scared. He immediately called the bodyguards for a backup plan, just in case their mistress truly wanted to jump off the rooftop.

Liu Longwei stopped in his steps immediately, fearing that if he took another step, she would jump to her death.

"But come to think of it, If I die, you will go ahead and get yourself another beautiful wife, so don't worry, I'm not dying soon." Chen Lihua said as she took the remaining steps to him. She made sure to pat his right shoulder twice in a smile before walking past him.

Liu Longwei sighed in relief and immediately went after her. He took the elevator with her, and walked to the sitting room to meet their parents.

When Chen Lihua got to the sitting room, she put on an obedient look as she apologized to their parents.

"There is no problem at all, we understand. But you must take care of yourself." Madam Liu spoke up in a kind smile, and Chen Lihua nodded in a smile.

"Lihua, are you alright, do you need Longwei to take a walk with you at the garden?." Chen K asked worriedly.

"Dad, I'm fine." Chen Lihua replied as she sat beside Liu Longwei.

"What about the....doctor?." Lady Chen asked carefully.

"I will see her after I see you off." Chen Lihua assured her.

"Lihua take it easy, and be rest assured that you have us, and a lot other people who love you. If you want anything at all, you can meet any of us, we are family." Liu Huang advised.

"Yes father. I'm sorry for causing you to worry." Chen Lihua apologized with a bow.

"That's not necessary at all. My daughters give me troubles most of the time, and you are like a daughter to me, so your conduct is acceptable." Liu Huang assured her in a smile.

"Alright, we will leave now, so you can see the doctor and have plenty time to rest." Chen K said as he stood to his feet, helping his wife in the process.

Madam Liu and her husband Liu Huang, stood up to leave as well.

They hugged each other, before Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei walked them to the car.
