When Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei got home, Liu Longwei was seen coming out from the driver's side of the car.

He walked to the front passenger seat, opened the car door, and carried his sleeping wife out.

They were both dressed appropriately, but their clothes were a little messy.

Liu Longwei didn't bother responding to the greetings from their servants. The most important thing to him at the moment was to take his wife to the room and help her with a shower.

The servants all noticed that their Mistress was sleeping peacefully, so they didn't dare raise their voices. They just bowed to their Master in greeting.

Placing Chen Lihua gently on the bed, Liu Longwei smiled while staring at her. Having had enough, he stood up straight and was about walking away when Chen Lihua pulled his hand while staring into his eyes with misty eyes.

"Where are you going?" she said in a meek voice.

"I was going to set a bath for you," Liu Longwei lowered his body and answered while peering into her eyes with a smile.

Chen Lihua stared at him for a while, then Liu Longwei asked, still having a seductive smile on his face.

"Is something on my face?"

"No. You are so handsome," Chen Lihua replied and gave him a soft smile before hugging his neck and engaging him in a warm kiss.

Liu Longwei kissed her back.

When he saw that she started to pull out his clothing, he knew she wanted more of what they had done in the car earlier.

So he couldn't help but say, "What happened? You are so proactive today. Did you miss me that badly?"

"I have no idea. But what matters now is that I want you," Chen Lihua replied and shut him up with another round of kisses.

They went at it for two more rounds before Liu Longwei insisted on them having a shower.

And surprisingly, after the shower, Chen Lihua went to sleep and only woke up the next morning.

Seeing her sleeping so soundly after two hours now, Liu Longwei sighed in relief.

It seems like having a bath helped to wear off the effect of the drug.

He covered their bodies with the duvet and hugged the sleeping beauty to sleep.

The next morning, Chen Lihua woke up on her own accord with a sore body.

She looked around the room, and not seeing her husband in sight, she yawned tiredly while stretching her arms.

She was so worn out that she didn't want to get up from the bed at all. But her rumbling stomach said otherwise.

She whispered a 'thank you' to Liu Longwei wherever he was for cleaning her up last night.

Remembering the whole ordeal yesterday, Chen Lihua ran her hands through her hair.

She felt that she had become so shameless. She felt that she was lucky that Liu Longwei hadn't made fun of her yet; otherwise, she wouldn't know where to bury her head.

Chen Lihua went into the bathroom to brush and wash up.

She stepped into the bedroom with a towel wrapped around her body and a small face towel in her hands.

As she was cleaning her face, Liu Longwei came into the room gently, thinking that Chen Lihua was still asleep, so his movements were gentle.

When he locked eyes with the woman standing at a place with a white towel wrapped around her body, he smiled and worked towards her.

"Good morning~ did you sleep well last night?" Liu Longwei asked after leaving a kiss on her cheek.

"Good morning. My night was great. Seems like you've already worked-out this morning," Chen Lihua commented with a smile while staring at the dashing man in his tracksuit.

"Yeah. I went for a run. See you..." Liu Longwei trailed off as he entered the bathroom.

Chen Lihua sighed in relief as he didn't mention the matter about last night.

She walked to the bed stand to pick up her phone. She checked it for missed calls and SMS. She didn't see any missed calls, but she saw a message from the Chief.

He filled her in on the patient's present health condition and told her not to worry about anything and keep her husband company.

He also told her that the Deputy Chief was already going through disciplinary measures. And because he was found guilty, he was banned from performing any surgery in the OR for a week.

After going through the messages, Chen Lihua sent a reply to the Chief, thanking him for helping her out.

When she was done replying, she connected her phone to the Bluetooth speaker on the nightstand and entered the walk-in closet after leaving a love song to play.

Just as she finished wearing her undies, Liu Longwei entered the room with a towel wrapped loosely around his waist.

If care wasn't taken, a single tug on the towel could get it falling to the floor. But the man in concern wasn't bothered with it.

Liu Longwei glanced at his wife as he looked at her from her head to toe.

Sensing his gaze on her body, Chen Lihua quickly pulled the gown in her hands on her body, thereby blocking the beautiful view.

Liu Longwei chuckled softly at how fast his woman covered the beautiful view he was filling his eyes with.

He walked towards her slowly with a smirk on his face.

Chen Lihua ignored him and went to the chair facing the vanity table.

She applied a moisturizing cream on her face before patting the content on her face while looking into the mirror.

Liu Longwei came behind her and kissed her neck while looking at her through the mirror.

"Are you ignoring your husband now?" he asked while looking at her.

"No, I'm not. Go and get dressed!" Chen Lihua said as she applied her deodorant on her underarms.

Liu Longwei didn't reply to her as he continued to trail kisses down her neck to her chest.

Chen Lihua gently pushed him away while saying, "Longwei am hungry!"

Liu Longwei stopped with his actions and looked at her.

"Ok, I will let you go for now."
