Chen Lihua blushed and tried to escape from him when she was met with the heated gaze he directed at her, but Liu Longwei caught her arm and pulled her back before giving her a deep kiss, full of his affection for her.

Remembering the past scene, Chen Lihua blushed and smiled to herself.

Liu Longwei came home an hour later. He washed up and enjoyed the snacks his wife got for him.

"If you want to eat anything, just tell the chefs what you want, and your order will be ready. You don't need to stress yourself by buying foods and snacks outside," Liu Longwei reminded her.

"I know. I just find it fun buying snacks outside when I'm in the mood for it," Chen Lihua replied.

During their regular evening routine of being busy in the study together, Liu Longwei was left alone.

"I have not seen you lecturing anyone before. But watching this video has opened my eyes. You are really a fierce woman," Liu Longwei said as his gaze followed her.

"What are you talking about?" Chen Lihua asked in confusion as she approached his side.

"What happened today?" Liu Longwei asked instead of giving an answer to her question.

"Today?! Nothing interesting happened today," Chen Lihua replied as she sat opposite him with her eyes looking all over his desk and the stacks of papers on his desk.

"Are you sure nothing interesting happened?" Liu Longwei asked, staring at her.

Chen Lihua looked back at him and said, "Nothing interesting happened today. The patient in need of a heart transplant was transferred to the hospital today, and a series of tests were conducted on her. Then we reviewed her health records and discussed how the surgery will go, and tasks were assigned to the attending surgeons for that day," Chen Lihua said.

"It's good to know that the preparations for the heart transplant are going on well. But that's not what I am talking about. Has Zie Yu being pestering you for a while now?" Liu Longwei asked while peering at her, seeking for answers.

"Your ex? She is quite a stubborn and arrogant woman who doesn't want to learn her lesson. But why are you suddenly asking about her?" Chen Lihua asked as she shifted herself comfortably on the seat while looking at her husband with keen interest.

"I saw the way you handled her today. You did a good job. I never knew you had the innate talent of pissing off people with your words," Liu Longwei applauded her in a smile.

"Oh, that! It's nothing," Chen Lihua said as she relaxed more comfortably. But then, something struck her, so she sat up immediately and asked with furrowed brows.

"How did you know what happened today? Did the bodyguards tell you about it?"

"I saw it here," Liu Longwei said as he passed the tablet over to her.

As Chen Lihua got hold of the tablet and played the video, Liu Longwei added, "The news is all over the place. Ah! Now everyone will know how fierce my wife is~."

"I can't believe this. The video has million-plus views within twenty minutes. Who posted this?" Chen Lihua asked in a frown.

She was shocked when she saw the video, and when she did, it had already gone viral.

Now what she most curious about was who posted it on the internet. The whole time she was sitting there (in the restaurant), she didn't even know that she was being filmed.

It seemed like she had to be on alert at public places, or rather have the bodyguards around her.

"Has she been bothering you for a while now?" Liu Longwei repeated this question the second time.

He really wanted to know if his ex has been bothering his wife. And he wouldn't take it likely with her if she was actually disturbing his wife.

"This is the second time she is doing this," Chen Lihua replied with her eyes still glued on the tablet.

"Why didn't you say anything? And the bodyguards by your side didn't tell me anything about your first and second encounter with her, I would have taken care of the matter immediately," Liu Longwei said with creased brows.

"Oh, don't worry about that. Zie Yu is easy to handle, so you don't need to do anything for now. She just has cheap tricks up her sleeves. As for the bodyguards, I instructed them not to tell you about it, so you don't have to worry about insignificant matters," Chen Lihua said to him.

Chen Lihua sighed and tried to pacify him, "I know her petty tricks could be dangerous, but I'm not worried about it. I know her heart is not evil. She is just trying to get back at me because she feels that I took something that belongs to her. Besides, I don't think she wants to go to prison or ruin her family's prestige, so don't get too worked up. You can just have the bodyguards stay by my side if you are too worried about me getting hurt."

"And that's what I would do. Am truly sorry for the troubles Zie Yu has caused you so far, it's all my fault, so I will do something about it. Next time if you experience a threat from anyone, or sense any danger, report to me immediately," Liu Longwei said in all seriousness.

"Alright," Chen Lihua replied in a smile.

"Do you have an idea of the person that uploaded this video? And I think the person did a good job because Zie Yu would be so pissed off after her pride gets hurt, and I bet she would learn to stay still," Chen Lihua said.

Liu Longwei picked up his phone and made a call. He instructed the person on the other end to find the ID of the person behind the video.

And after the call, he said to Chen Lihua in all seriousness, "You think the person might have done a good job in infuriating Zie Yu, and you are happy about it because you think she wouldn't come disturbing you again. But I disagree with you. Until the motive behind the upload of the video is known, don't conclude anything yet. While you think she wouldn't come looking for trouble, I think it's the other way round. This video will only make her want to take revenge on you. As you said, her pride would be hurt when she sees this video, so why don't you think she would want to retaliate and get back at you. The person behind the upload of this video might not mean well," Liu Longwei concluded.

Chen Lihua sank into deep thought and nodded.

"What you deduced makes a lot of sense, but why don't you think the person behind the video might have done it to embarrass Zie Yu, without having any other thing in mind?" Chen Lihua asked.
