When she called up her husband to inform him, he answered her call, which was unlike him. So she just went straight to the point. But she didn't dare to mention the time the surgery ended, not knowing that the doctor had already informed her husband.

The man didn't ask her anything, but he told her he would bring his mother to the hospital tomorrow morning.

"Husband..." the woman managed to say before the man hung up.

The woman stared angrily at her phone before hissing. Then she looked at her son before calling out to him.

"My poor little son, get well soon and fight for your mother."

The next morning, the man brought his mother to the hospital to visit his son and daughter.

His son still hasn't woken up, but the doctor explained the reason to them which they understood.

The man didn't stay for more than an hour before driving back to the hotel he has been staying in.

At noon, Aunt Lin phoned him, and he hesitated for a moment before picking up.

They didn't talk for long, as Aunt Lin asked him how he was doing, and he lied that he was stressed with work.

Aunt Lin asked him about the divorce, but he only said that the divorce would hold next week Monday.

Aunt Lin didn't comment on that but told him to rest well and to take care of his health.

After the call, the man laid down on his bed to think about his life.

The next morning, the man rushed to the hospital. Not for anything else but to check the results from the tests (paternity and maternity tests) he arranged for.

Without alarming the rest of his family, he visited his son. The latter had just woke up the early hours of that morning, before leaving with the excuse of going to the doctor's office.

Opening the door to leave, he turned to take one last look at the happy family before everything comes crumbling down, then he left for the doctor's office.

Now in the doctor's office, the man held the paternity test reports in his hands, not having enough courage to open them.

The doctor, on the other hand, paid no heed to him as he continued on with his work.

After contemplating for a while, the man got the courage to open one of the reports, which said that his wife was the biological mother of 'his children'.

With his heartbeat increasing by a few paces, the man opened the other paternity test report which read that he was not in any way, biologically related to the children he thought were his.

The man became paralyzed, and it seemed as if he was lost in a trance.

But unexpectedly, his facial expression changed to extreme anger which was caused by extreme provocation.

"Bitch! Bitch! Bitch! I knew that nothing good could ever come out of this woman! She has ruined half of my life!" the man screamed before leaving the office, as he marched towards 'his son's' ward/room in anger.

Anybody that met him on the way would definitely see and notice that anger surrounded him, and they will definitely know that there was a fire on the mountain.

"You bitch! What is this?" the man asked furiously while slapping the paternity test reports on his wife's face.

"Son, what is the problem? Why would you behave this way with your wife, and in front of the children?" the old lady asked with a big frown on her face.

"Father.....why would you hit mother? What....?" the young lady wasn't given the opportunity to finish her sentence before 'her father' lashed out at her.

"Don't call me that? Who is your father?!"

The old lady, the woman, and her two children were filled with shock.

The old lady and the woman exchanged looks, as they both knew that they were in for big trouble.

"Son, calm down, this is the hospital. I can explain what is going on," the old lady said, trying to get her son to calm down, but her efforts proved abortive.

"Did you say can down? How do you expect me to calm down when I have been kept in the dark for half of my life?" the man roared.

His voice was too loud that the two nurses doing ward checks had to come into the room to check what was happening.

"Son, it's all my fault. I should have told you about this a long time ago. Your wife, who is one of my friend's daughter was pregnant for another man just before you two got married, but she discovered it late. But as a good lady that she was, she immediately reported her pregnancy to me, so I had no choice than to take care of it," the old lady explained softly.

"You had no choice than to take care of it by covering up for your (his mother and wife) stupidity, making it look like I was the father of the baby? Wow! I am proud of you two scheming women! You lot have opened my eyes today!" the man hollered in anger as he pointed at his mother and wife.

"Son, look am sorry, I had no choice then, and that was the only option I had," the old lady pleaded.

"Then how do you explain how he came about?" the man asked angrily while pointing to 'his son' that was staring at him in confusion.

"What do you mean? He is your son! The only one that is not a child is 'your daughter'," the old lady clarified in confusion.

Seeing him point at her son, the woman that had been crying silently, felt a wave of pain hit her chest.

If anyone had told her that she would see her end today, she wouldn't have believed the person.

Just when she was thinking about how to save her ass the first time, his mother-in-law cleaned up the mess for her.

And as she was trying to take a breather from the first problem, the more difficult and deadly one came over.

And this time around, there was no solution to it, she was definitely finished this time!
