They would be fools and deemed foolish if they couldn't even detect the extreme anger in his voice.

"You....you....you dare to talk to me, your mother like this? Have you forgotten how I suffered to bring you into this world?" His mother asked in tears. Actually, they were fake tears.

"Suffered? Are you sure you wouldn't have suffered to bring me into this world if not for your selfish reasons? Do you think I don't know the real truth behind my birth? Do you take me for a fool? How long were you going to keep treating me like a child?!" He asked in anger, as veins popped out from his throat.

"Son, WH-What are you talking about?" His mother asked, not sure if she heard him clearly while pretending not to have heard him at the same time.

"You asked for this since you want to be embarrassed, then I won't disappoint you. I know that you got pregnant for my father just to marry him. You drugged him and slept with him, and that's how you managed to get pregnant with me. And even knowing that it was risky for you to be pregnant because of your frail health then, you, insisted on carrying on with the pregnancy, just so you could snatch your best friend's lover!"

His mother had a shocked look on her face as she placed her hand on her chest while moving backward unsteadily.

"Mother!" His wife called out and rushed to her side, in time to save her from falling.

Then she assisted her in sitting back on the couch.

The old lady you see here today was quite a character back then.

She appeared to be weak because of her frail health, but who knew that she was a green snake in green grass, a very cunning person.

She someone who made calculated moves, she chose her friends only after running background checks on them.

She made her friends after careful consideration.

She made friends that she would get something from in return, just like her best friend then.

Her best friend was like a prey she hunted on back then.

Actually, her main target was her best friend's boyfriend, who is now her husband.

So in other to get the man of her dreams, she had to get closer to people close to him, and her easiest target was her best friend.

Because of her frail health, she deceived a lot of people, including her best friend.

She acted as if was out of breath, and was asthmatic to get her attention. So from their first encounter, they became friends and then best friends.

And before you know it, her plans started working, because her best friend introduced her to her boyfriend.

So anywhere her best friend and boyfriend went, she would be there as well.

So they continued that way, to the point that it would seem weird in the eyes of other people if she (the old lady) was to be missing among their company.

There was a time she visited her best friend at noon in her apartment when she wanted to leave for the supermarket to buy some veggies.

Her best friend asked her to come along with her, and she agreed. But when she heard from her best friend that her boyfriend was coming over and that he would let himself in because he had the spare keys to her apartment, she gave an excuse that she has a headache, and would love to stay back.

And because her friend is the good one that she is told her to rest and not to bother going out with her.

So while her best friend was out, the old lady stripped and got into the bathroom. So when her best friend's man came over, he thought it was his girlfriend that was bathing, and so, tiptoed into the bathroom to see an unexpected stack naked lady.

So that was the beginning of the old lady's success.

"Who... Who told you all these... Who told you this nonsense!!!?" His mother shouted hysterically.

"Are you surprised, and you want to know my sources right, but you are never going to find that out from me!" He said while pointing at his mother angrily.

His mother breathed heavily while staring at him in shock, still clutching her chest.

She must have been deeply shocked and caught unexpectedly.

"The two of you should have been mother and daughter because you two have the same bad traits and habits. Your skills are top-notch to have deceived your husbands into marrying you," He said while giving them a death stare, before walking away from their midst while dropping the last sentence to them.

"The divorce will take place at ***** by ***** next week Thursday. Be there on time."

The two women broke into tears after he left.

"Which bastard told him all those rubbish he spouted now?!" The old lady said while kicking the air with her feet.

"Mother, he is really going to divorce me if you don't do anything to stop him!" The woman said as she shook the old lady's hand as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Enough of your nonsense! I have had enough of you! I got you married to my son, but you still couldn't get him to love you after giving him a child and spending so many years as a married couple. You are so useless. You can't even help him with anything at all, you only know how to spend his hard-earned money. With how useless you are, why won't he find another woman that is a whole lot better than you?!" The old lady spoke harshly while taking her hand away from the woman's firm grasp as she glared at her.

Having never had and experienced this form of harsh reaction from her mother-in-law, who always talked and treated her with love and care, it was too much for the woman to take, so she slid to the floor and started to cry louder.

She has never seen this side of her mother-in-law before.

"For your own safety, you better stop screaming in my ears. You should count yourself lucky that your mother was my best friend when she was alive, and that's why I tolerated your shortcomings and got you married to my son. And because of my relationship with your mother, you will remain married to my son."
