"My mother lied to me!" Chen Lihua said through gritted teeth.

"What?" Liu Longwei asked, trying to make sure he heard her clearly.

The document showed that Lady Chen transferred some shares from Chen group to Chen Lihua.

After glancing at the document, Liu Longwei seemed to have understood what transpired, so he asked, "Did she tell you that our companies merged?"

"Yes. And that was what made me agree to get married to you," Chen Lihua said.

When Lady Chen told Chen Lihua about Liu Longwei, she didn't agree. So she had told her that the Chen group merged with the Liu Group, and she was just the acting CEO, while Liu Longwei had all the power.

"Lihua, you have to calm down. She is your mother, and I trust that she won't let you take any step or decision that you would regret," Liu Longwei said as he tried to placate her.

Liu Longwei stood in front of her and brought her into his arms. And while patting her back, he said in a low husky voice, "Don't be angry, ok? It's not good for your health."

Liu Longwei watched as the woman pushed herself away from his embrace while excitedly talking about India.

'She must really love India a lot,' He thought to himself as he listened to her talk about India.

"I don't know any henna artist in the country. How do I get one in such a short time?" Chen Lihua said with a frown.

Then she raised her head and looked at the man that had been staring at her and said to him.

"Longwei, pack your bags and wait for me, while I contact a henna artist and get my luggage ready," Chen Lihua instructed as she made her way towards the door.

"Don't forget to confirm our flight tickets and hotel reservations for our honeymoon," She reminded, before vanishing from his sight.

Liu Longwei watched the tightly shut doors and sighed to himself.

She was very angry a few minutes ago, but when I mentioned our honeymoon, she immediately remembered that we are going to India tomorrow. And now she has forgotten about what and who made her angry.

Well, it's for the best.

Liu Longwei didn't waste time in his study, as he immediately went out to carry out his wife's instructions.

He pecked their foreheads and asked, "Are you ready?"

"Yesss!!!" The girls chorused excitedly.

The man quickly stood up and held their hands. Then he turned to glance at their mother who had two suitcases in her hands.

He stopped smiling as soon as he caught sight of her, but Liu Huiling did not even glance at him.

The man felt that she had changed overnight because the wife he married would have been bombarding him with questions. Like asking why he didn't help her get the children ready or pack their clothes or maybe asked him to help her to carry one of the bags, but she did neither of them.
