When Chen Lihua learned that she would be arriving at the church 30 minutes before the ceremony, and Liu Longwei would arrive an hour before the ceremony, she started to panic.

"Why do we have to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony? Are you sure 30 minutes is enough time? What if we are late?" Chen Lihua asked.

Caro who was not part of the bridesmaids smiled and explained patiently, "We want to make sure you are hidden before your guests start to arrive, so they won't get an early peek at the gown."

"You look gorgeous daughter, and your dress is beautiful, you look stunning in it. Let's take a quick selfie," Lady Chen said, as she went to stand beside her, and raising her phone to take a picture.

"Mum, are you serious now, is the right time for this?" Chen Lihua asked with a slight frown on her face. She was a little annoyed at the situation.

"Give me a smile, and we'll be done in five seconds," Lady Chen said while looking into the camera.

Chen Lihua, then obeyed her immediately, while having a smile of pretense on her face.

"Done! Lihua, this is Mr. Gu, he is your father's best friend and one of his business partners, and he has always been like a father figure to you in the shadows, even though you do not know the detail, but he will be the one to walk you down the aisle," Lady Chen said while pointing at the man behind her.

It now that Chen Lihua caught a good glimpse at the man.

Earlier, her focus was on another thing, so she didn't notice him.

But now looking at him, she felt that he was familiar and that she had seen that face somewhere, but she couldn't precisely point her fingers at it.

When she was a teenager, she used to attend many social gatherings with her parents. So she had been introduced to many business partners on several occasions, which she can't even remember any of their faces.

Chen Lihua didn't need to overthink what her mother said is true, she didn't have enough time on her side.

So, she quickly walked back to Mr. Gu, and gave him an apologetic smile, before hooking his arm, after he stretched out his right hand to her in a gentle smile.
