Chen K felt a little frustrated with Lady Chen's sudden change in behavior.

When he apologized and explained his situation to her, he had thought that she has already forgiven him. But this abrupt change in character suggested otherwise.

"Ju Ju I know you're angry, but please don't be. I promise to make up for all those years that we missed together", Chen K pleaded with her.

Lady Chen sauntered before improve in her walking pace.

Seeing that her attitude had changed for the better, Chen K beamed with smiles as he said to her, "I am on my way to the company. I'll be waiting in the car for you".

When Lady Chen arrived at the underground parking space of the company, she went straight to look for the car he had earlier described for her.

Luckily, the car was tinted, so Lady Chen got on it without many thoughts, leaving her bodyguards to guide them.

"You are looking much younger", Chen K said with a smile while admiring her beauty.

Lady Chen touched her cheeks with both hands before replying, "I know. I don't joke with my skin, so I have to take good care of it. But your daughter is different from me. Her hair is more important to her than her skin".

Chen K chucked as he said, "You both are great beauties. But the best part of it is that you two look so much alike. You can even pass off as her elder sister".

Lady Chen became happy as she smiled at being complimented by her husband, whom she loved so much with all her heart.

"Thank you", Lady Chen said.

Lady Chen was not in a hurry to go into her office since she didn't have any meetings today. So she stayed in the car, and they both talked for a while longer.

"The gifts I bought for you are in the boot. So you can ask your bodyguards to transfer them to your car", Chen K said.

"Oh, thank you. How have you been feeding and taking care of yourself all these years?" Lady Chen asked with a concerned expression on her face.

Chen K sighed before explaining to her.

Lady Chen and Chen K stayed in the car for almost an hour before they parted ways.

You might be wondering why Lady Chen forgave her husband 'Chen K' so easily. That's because Chen K apologized to her for mistreating her all those years of their married life before embarking on the journey they thought took his life.

And Lady Chen forgave him. So that's why there wasn't any animosity between them. Instead, the reason she was heartbroken and angry with him was that she thought he was dead and had mourned him for five good years. She even incurred an illness because of him.

Before leaving the car, Lady Chen said to Chen K, "Tell your sister to pick my calls".

Since the day Lady Chen fainted, Aunt Lin has refused to pick her calls. Maybe she even blocked her number, who knows?

Chen Lin had known that Chen K was alive. Then since he was alive, he didn't contact her or any member of their family but showed up five years later.

With their upcoming wedding, Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei have been busy with finalizing their Wedding plans.

On this day, Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua went to take their wedding pictures.

Chen Lihua did an outstanding job while posing in all of the pictures. This is the least you could expect from an international supermodel.

As for Liu Longwei, he did just fine because he could just act like the CEO he already is.

Some of their pictures we're romantic even if there wasn't anyone that captured the couple kissing.

Since this couple loved themselves, the romantic photos came out fine, without any pretense.

That night, Chen Lihua was on a video call with five of her foreign friends who were among her bridal train.

As they conversed in English, she told them that their dresses (bride's maid's clothes) were ready. The girls cheered on in happiness.

Then they talked about the bachelorette party they would be holding for Chen Lihua on the eve of her wedding.

After speaking with them, Chen Lihua called her two friends from high school to tell them that their dresses were ready as well.

Chen Lihua felt so contented and happy with her life right now.

The next morning, Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei did their morning exercise before having their western meal prepared by a foreign chef Liu Longwei employed.

After breakfast, Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei went to their spacious study room, where two office tables and chairs were arranged for them.

They chose the places they were going for their honeymoon, and also booked flight tickets and hotel reservations at once.

The afternoon of the same day, Chen Lihua took Liu Longwei out for cake and wine tasting.

They stayed there for a while, trying to find the best flavors for their wedding cakes. Especially Chen Lihua, who wanted the best.

They can't even remember how many different flavors of cakes Chen Lihua ate before Liu Longwei pulled her away.

"What?" Chen Lihua whispered, feeling wronged.

"Why do I feel like you're eating the cakes instead of tasting them?" Liu Longwei asked with a slight crease on his forehead.

"Does it matter? After all, we are paying for it", Chen Lihua said before trying to cut another piece of cake. But Liu Longwei slapped her hands away from the fork gently and said, "Do you know how many calories you have eaten?

Don't forget that there will be no time for your wedding dress fittings after a few days". Liu Longwei reminded her.

"That's right. But I haven't finished choosing the flavors I want for my cake and cupcakes, how do I do it now?" Chen Lihua complained.

"What am I here for?" Liu Longwei asked while pointing to himself.

"You? Forget it. Just choose for yourself while I choose for myself. The worst that could happen is that I would have to work it out in the best few days even though my body it's not the type to store fat", Chen Lihua said before making a beeline for a cupcake.

Liu Longwei could only let her be, for he knew how much his wife loved cakes.
