Chen Lihua didn't even bother to answer, she just turned her back and entered back into the room she had earlier run out from.

'Just when I thought I had successfully run away from a hungry beast, I suddenly met an annoying person'. Chen Lihua thought to herself before going back into her room.

"What about the drinking water your husband asked you to get?" Lady Chen asked with a smile.

But when she received no reply, she burst into a fit of laughter. She could take a guess on what her daughter was running away from.

While walking back to her bedroom, Lady Chen all smiled. She couldn't believe that her daughter was still so shy.

What made her confirm her doubts that Chen Lihua was running away from her husband instead of getting water for him was that she went back into the room after she threw out that question.

Had it been she actually wanted to get water for Liu Longwei, she would have gone downstairs to get the water for him, but she chose to go back into the room at that moment.

Back in the room, Chen Lihua sat on her bed and started thinking if Liu Longwei will continue with his antics when he comes out from the bathroom.

'No, I won't let that happen'. She thought to herself before standing and going into her dressing room.

She picked up nightwear and went back to the room to wait. She has already thought about how she would rush into the bathroom once Liu Longwei came out.

Not long after, Liu Longwei came out from the bathroom in a white night robe. His hair was wet, and he was depicting masculinity.

The white night robe on his body didn't cover his chest completely. It parted to showcase his firm and muscular chest, coupled with the necklace on his neck that Chen Lihua bought for him.

He was exhibiting his masculine charm. And as he walked into the bedroom, his eyes were shining brightly.

Chen Lihua, on the other hand, lost herself in him. She was definitely attracted by his charm.

Why she was ogling at his body, she didn't know when Liu Longwei walked to stand in front of her.

He had a smile as he leaned into her face. And as he did so, more of his chest came into her view.

Her saving grace was that she perceived the shower gel he used to bath, which brought her back to her senses.

She came back to her senses only to see Liu Longwei's face close up. She quickly leaned back and shifted away.

"What were you looking at?" Liu Longwei asked as a smirk formed on his face.

"Nothing, I was just lost in thought". Chen Lihua lied and quickly stood up before rushing into the bathroom.

Liu Longwei chuckled as he watched her back disappear into the bathroom.

The next morning, after breakfast, Chen Lihua took Liu Longwei on a walk in the back garden.

She happily showed him the vegetables and fruits planted in the large garden.

There were different vegetables and fruits planted in the garden.

"My mother likes planting fruits and vegetables. But most of the ones you are seeing were planted by the gardeners. When my mum got tired of planting because the land was too large for her to farm on alone, she hired gardeners". Chen Lihua said with a smile as she touched a ripe tomato.

"Your mum is really industrious". Liu Longwei complimented with a slight smile.

"Please do not be offended by this question. When your dad was alive, didn't he help her to farm?" He asked staring right into her eyeballs.

Surprisingly, no frown appeared on her face. Instead, she went straight to the point, "My dad is not the farming type. But he sometimes helped her out".

"Oh! Then what about you?" Liu Longwei asked nudging her shoulder.

"Me? Farming or working in the garden? It's not for me. I didn't like it since I didn't have the stamina for it. And besides, I had other things to do at that time, than to join them in the garden", Chen Lihua said as she walked to an apple tree.

Liu Longwei followed her and asked in a doting tone, "What were you busy with at that time?"

Chen Lihua touched the almost ripened apple before looking at him. She then leaned in to and whispered to his ear with a smile plastered on her face.

"I was busy planning for my future". Then she leaned away and walked ahead with a pleasant smile.

Liu Longwei chuckled and immediately followed behind her.

After showing Liu Longwei around, they stayed in the Chen Villa for another hour before going back to their home.

At Aunt Lin's place.

Aunt Lin had two elderly visitors who had refused to leave her house since yesterday.

The visitors were her parents, the elderly Chen couple.

They have been barraging her with questions since they arrived at her house yesterday, but she had not made any attempt to answer their questions. But that doesn't mean that they let her have peace.

Another visitor came knocking on her door that morning when she was having a face-off with the elderly couple.

She gave an imaginary thumbs up to her old parents because of the energy and patience they had since they had been interrogating since yesterday.

"Excuse me, there's someone at the door, I need to go check who it is", Aunt Lin said with a slight smile.

As she walked out, she saw the old couple staring at her in anger.

When she looked through the monitor, she was shocked to see her brother standing there.

She looked around to see if the old couple followed her before opening the door. She didn't wait for the man to say anything before she shut her door and dragged him away.

"Chen K, what do you think you are doing here after I told you last night that our parents were here?" Aunt Lin asked with displeasure in her voice, and a frown etched on her face.
