When the time for dinner came, Liu Longwei personally went to knock on Chen Lihua's door but he received no answer. But this time it was because Chen Lihua was asleep, so she didn't hear the knocks.

But as he knocked, it ended up waking her up from her deep slumber.

Since her door was locked, Liu Longwei couldn't open it, so he continued to knock.

Chen Lihua frowned while sitting up on her bed. She yawned before getting out of her bed to open the door.

Seeing her sleepy and tired look, Liu Longwei then knew that she had been sleeping.

"What?" Chen Lihua asked absentmindedly as she rubbed her puffy eyes which came about because of the sleep.

"Hope you are ok?" Liu Longwei asked, attempting to touch her head.

But Chen Lihua nudged his hand away as she didn't know what he wanted to do while answering, "Am fine", Chen Lihua answered, letting out another yawn.

Liu Longwei brought his hand down thinking that Chen Lihua was still angry at him, and thus didn't want him to touch her.

But regardless of his thoughts he still said, "It's late already, let's go down for dinner".

"No, I am on a diet", Chen Lihua said abruptly.

"Why? Since when?" Liu Longwei asked in confusion as he can't remember her making mention of it. Because the last thing he remembered was her saying she was hungry and him advising her, and which led to the present state.

"You said I was fat. My diet started then". Chen Lihua said, trying to walk back into her room. But Liu Longwei held her hand before dragging her out from the room.

He shut the door behind them and said as Chen Lihua struggled to set her hand free.

Liu Longwei paused in his step and let go off her hand, but then he held her shoulders and they both stared into each other's eyes.

"Look Lihua am sorry for offending you ok? Please stop being angry at me alright?" Liu Longwei pleaded while staring at her.

The apology alone easily melted Chen Lihua's heart, then coupled with the apologetic look on his face.

Chen Lihua smiled and said, "I forgive you".

A smile appeared on Liu Longwei's face as he leaned in to kiss her plump lips.

Chen Lihua just placed her palms on his chest but didn't push him away. She kissed him back as well before he released her lips.

He then pecked her cheek before holding her hand and walking down to the Dining room together.

Chen Lihua bowed her head shyly, letting him hold her hand as they walked while feeling a gush of sweetness rise up inside of her.

Chen Lihua felt so good having someone to pamper her.

That night, Liu Longwei kept placing food on her plate, and so, she ate to her satisfaction.

The next day, Lady Chen went to her office having rested for a few days, and so have recovered her strength and spirit.

After Lady Chen finished the meeting with the department heads, she left the conference room with her male and female assistants trailing behind her.

After they dropped some documents and her belongings in her office, they left.

The female assistant came back with a cup of warm tea as per the request of Lady Chen.

Sipping her tea and working (going through some documents), Lady Chen felt so relaxed that all the troubles and worries she had accumulated for the past few days slowly vanished.

Just then, her male assistant rushed into her office in a frantic manner without knocking, forgetting his manners.

Lady Chen looked at him while sipping her coffee with the gaze that said, 'You had better have something important to report or otherwise, get ready to be punished'.

"Boss, someone who looks like the former Boss is here to see you", the assistant reported.

"What do you mean by someone who looks like the former....?" Lady Chen trailed off in the middle of her speech as something dawned on her.

When she realized the direction her thoughts were going to, she felt a sharp pain in her heart as she immediately clutched her chest with a painful expression.

"Boss, are you ok?" The assistant rushed over to her side as quickly as possible in fright.

Lady Chen quickly waved her hand, telling him not to come over that she was ok just as he was about to touch her arm.

"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Lady Chen managed to say before picking up her teacup and drinking from it.

"Yes, Boss. I recognized his face even with the beards and sunglasses on his face". The assistant replied hurriedly.

"How many people know of this?" Lady Chen asked after relaxing for a bit.

"Boss doesn't worry, I don't think anyone recognized him. The only reason I managed to recognize him is that I've seen that particular look before", the assistant explained.

Lady Chen's worries eased off a bit at his words.

"Send him up here as quickly as possible", Lady Chen said decisively, as it would be more troublesome if more people were to recognize him.

The news will definitely make it to the headlines the next minute if discovered. And then, Chen Lihua would find out.

'That's right Lihua. She can't ever find out'. Lady Chen said when she remembered her daughter and came to a conclusion.

The Chen Lihua that was being spoken about was currently running on the treadmill. She sneezed when her name was called.

Back at the office. Lady Chen's heartbeat leaped by a few paces as she didn't know how she would act when that man comes in.

The door to her office was pushed open and a man dressed in all black walked in, scanning the woman who he had missed in his dreams for a long time.

With the beards and sunglasses over his face, Lady Chen couldn't really make out his facial features, but she definitely knew he was the one. That was the same way he looked when he came to Chen Villa.

She would recognize her husband anywhere, and at any time even if he turned to dust or ashes.
