So she double-tapped the screen to make sure her battery didn't die or her phone didn't wreck, but her phone screen was on, displaying a selfie of her and Chen Lihua on the home screen.

Lady Chen sneered and said to herself after discovering Chen Lin didn't want to pick her call.

"What! So you can be scared? That's good, let's leave it that way for now".

Two days later.

Chen Lihua was in the study answering a phone call. She spoke French in a relaxed tone. "Why do you have to ship the gown if it's not ready?"

The person replied, and she answered, "okay, I got it. So when are you arriving?"

The person answered and she said with a smile, "No problem, I will prepare a place for you. You just notify me when your plane lands, then I will send a van to pick you guys up".

The person said something before Chen Lihua replied with a 'Thank you, bye', before ending the call.

As she ended the call, Liu Longwei pushed the door open and entered the study.

The first thing that greeted his sight was the beautiful woman sitting on his classic Svenstol 24-hour office chair.

She had her phone in a motion between her ear and the table which means that she just got off from a call.

Chen Lihua smiled at him and Liu Longwei couldn't help smiling as well as he walked towards the table and asked, "What brought a smile to your face?"

Chen Lihua saw him walking towards the table, and so stood up from his chair. But Liu Longwei waved his hands, signalling her to sit back, and so she did before she answered his question.

"I just spoke to my wedding gown designer. My gown will arrive in 5 days for our wedding even though it's not yet ready. So when the time comes, we will send a car to bring the designer and his crew over".

"Is it not possible to ship it, and why is the gown being sent over when it's only half-finished?"

Liu Longwei asked, sitting on another office chair opposite Chen Lihua.

"Shipping the gown will be a hassle, so they will bring it in parts. When they arrive here, they can then finish the remaining work before setting it up".

Chen Lihua let out a breath before explaining further, "My Wedding dress cannot be sent over when it's completely set up because of the size and designs. And another reason is that I don't want my wedding gown to be leaked out before the actual wedding day".

"Ooh", Liu Longwei said nodding in understanding, and Chen Lihua nodded as well saying "hmmm".

"That's right. After battling with myself for a while, I decided to tell you this". Liu Longwei said staring at her.

Chen Lihua looked at him with an inquisitive gaze and asked, "What's the matter?"

"We are moving houses", Liu Longwei said.

In Chen Lihua's mind, she sighed in relief as he didn't give her breaking news (maybe a serious or devastating news).

But then she asked curiously as she didn't see the need to change houses, "Why are we moving into another house all of a sudden?"

Liu Longwei answered in a straightforward manner without trying to beat around the bush.

"It's not all of a sudden. I've always had this plan, and I've been implementing my plans for a while now. I didn't want you to get attached to this house before we move into a new one, so I thought we should move before the wedding. And don't worry, you will like that place. It's more modernized than this one".

"Oh, okay!" Chen Lihua nodded.

"So when are we moving in?" She asked after taking a breather.

"In six days. In time to receive your wedding designer and his crew". Liu Longwei answered lazily while squinting his deep eyes.

Chen Lihua nodded, and Liu Longwei tapped on his phone screen a few times before passing it to her.

"You are the mistress of the house, so I think you have your own decisions to make concerning the house. I've done most of it, but there are some things you still have to give your opinion on. You can take a pick from the designs on my phone, on the furniture for the living room and bedrooms, and the designs for every corner of the house".

"Wow! These designs are lovely". Chen Lihua said in amazement.

Liu Longwei chuckled seeing her bright eyes and explained to her, "That's some of the best designs the Liu Group's designing team came up with. So you can take a pick".

"They really know their job well. How many rooms are there in the new house? Chen Lihua asked looking up from the phone.

Liu Longwei thought for a while before giving a vague reply, "There are so many rooms there".

"Just choose the designs for the Living room, dining room, Kitchen, and the two master bedrooms. If possible, you can choose some designs for the children's room, but I think it's still too early for that". Liu Longwei said with a smirk.

Chen Lihua blushed at the mention of children because she knew the process of baby-making, it was so embarrassing especially after their first wedding night.

Liu Longwei smiled in understanding at her embarrassed look. "When you are done selecting the designs you want, I will forward them to the team, so they can start working on it".

"Ok, but we have to choose the designs together, and make some decisions on them, that way it will be faster and more decisive". Chen Lihua said thoughtfully before standing up from the chair and walking to sit on the couch in the room.

Liu Longwei followed her as well, as they put heads together in choosing the designs for their new home.

When they were done, Chen Lihua asked, "What about the designs for the other rooms?"

"Don't worry, Dongmei will take care of it. She's the chief designer for the Liu Group, and she's the one in charge of designing the house". Liu Longwei explained as he stood up, and helped Chen Lihua in the process.

Passing the phone back to him, Chen Lihua let out a yawn as she used her hand to cover her mouth while saying, "I think am hungry".
