Chen Lihua's Aunties and grandparents also came to see her. They praised her and dropped money at her feet.

They didn't stay long before leaving as Lady Chen didn't want the room to be crowded. She took a few pictures with her daughter and her friends.

Liu Longwei was dressed in his Chinese wedding attire and had a finger pressed on his temples as he watched his mother rant on. Finally, when he couldn't take it any longer, he said to her in an annoyed tone.

"Mum don't worry, I will put on everything that won't make me look like a clown 🤡".

Back in the room, Liu Longwei's friends made fun of him as soon as Madam Liu left.

"He looks like he can't wait already". Gu Jian who wasn't around for Liu Longwei's engagement party said. He was a very handsome young man as well, and his family was into the oil business.

The others laughed out loud as well.

Liu Longwei stood up after he was done putting on his shoes and after the makeup artist was done powdering his face.

"Indeed I can't wait, let's go and bring my bride here". Liu Longwei said with a smirk on his face.

The whole lot was surprised, and immediately followed him out. None wanted to be left behind.

Meanwhile, the videographer who has been capturing everything hurriedly followed after them with his assistants carrying the equipment behind him.

Back at the Chen Villa.

While waiting for the groom (Liu Longwei) to come, Chen Lihua sat on her bed with a red veil over her face, and two embroidered quilts beneath her, for the wish of harmonious marriage and wealthy life. One quilt was embroidered with a dragon and phoenix, while the other was embroidered with cute babies.

By 8:30 AM, Liu Longwei and his entourage arrived at the Chen Villa, and the sounds of fireworks were heard.

Liu Longwei came with his brother, friends, sister (Liu Dongmei), and one of his aunt. They came with 7 cards out of which three were for the bodyguards that followed them along.

Liu Longwei got down from his Grand Jeep Cherokee SRT8 which was already decorated with simple red ribbons 🎀 as others got down from their cars as well.

Lady Chen and some other members of the Chen family came out to welcome them. Longwei's aunt stayed behind to speak with Lady Chen.

When Liu Longwei and his entourage finally got into Chen Lihua's room, they saw a person sitting on the bed and dressed in all red with a red veil covering her face.

Liu Longwei felt his heart beating loudly as he stared at that red figure sitting obediently on the bed with her hands in her sleeves.

"Wow! Sister-in-law your dress is so beautiful". Liu Dongmei exclaimed as she strode into the room with a wide grin 😀 on her face.

As Chen Lihua's face was covered, she couldn't see anyone, but she recognized Liu Dongmei's voice.

Then she became nervous and squeezed her palms, as she wondered if Liu Longwei was already in her room.

Her heartbeats increased, and a blush appeared on her face when she finally heard his voice as he responded to the greetings from her friends and cousins.

Then Liu Longwei's gaze finally rested on his bride. He was very happy to see her in her wedding attire.

Seeing how eager Liu Longwei was with the way he was staring at his bride as if he couldn't even wait to take her away, so they began to tease him.

Zhang Bingwen winked at Liu Longwei with his hands in his pockets just like Liu Longwei before saying with a tinge of laughter in his voice, "Longwei you've got to calm down, your bride is not running away".

The room erupted in laughter.

Chen Lihua smiled as she wondered if Liu Longwei was actually staring at her for him to be teased to that level.

So Beneath that red veil, Chen Lihua's cheeks blushed as her lips turned up in a smile.

Liu Longwei ignored them all as he walked towards Chen Lihua as he stared at her before his view was suddenly blocked by the ladies.

So now, Liu Longwei couldn't see Chen Lihua's figure or walk towards her even with his tall height.
