Everyone in the store looked at her as she succeeded in drawing attention to herself.

Zie Yu herself didn't find the situation funny because her face was so well twisted in anger.

Then Zu Mei's shout caused a nerve to snap in her head, and so she started at her friend and gritted her teeth 😬 that were about to shatter and said, "Shut up!"

As the teary-eyed Zu Mei looked at Zie Yu, tears rolled down her face 😭.

"I can't believe you are crying. Are you trying to embarrass me? You had better keep your emotions in check, after all, you asked for it". Zie Yu said and walked out of the store in anger 😡.

A few seconds later, Zu Mei followed after her while wiping her tears away.

If only Chen Lihua knew that her little words made one of the lady's cry, she would have been smiling now. But unfortunately, Chen Lihua has already activated her anger mode.

As she was on her period, her emotions will keep fluctuating.

She wondered how foolish and brainless those ladies were for them to talk to her that way.

'Maybe they thought I was an easy target, so they approached me foolishly'.

Chen Lihua was really infuriated with their manner of approach.

She sighed and told the driver to take her to the Chen Company., then she called her mother on the phone, telling her to send her assistant downstairs.

Lady Chen asked why she didn't want to come up, and Chen Lihua replied, "Have you ever seen me in your company before? I only came to give you a present 🎁, that's why am here".

"I understand, you are too lazy to deal with the mouths that would be running in the company once they see you. No problem, I will send my assistant over". Lady Chen answered.

30 minutes later, Chen Lihua's Audi packed in front of a tall building🏢, and a not too tall young man who was slightly older than Liu Longwei walked to her car.

He seemed to have been standing there, but not for quite long.

Chen Lihua rolled down her side window completely and passed a shopping bag to him.

Taking that opportunity, the assistant peeped into the car and saw so many shopping bags beside her.

"Has my mother had her Lunch yet?" Chen Lihua asked as she passed the bag to him.

Lady Chen's assistant greeted her and took the bag from her answering, "Not yet, she's still very busy at the moment".

"What is she busy with?" Chen Lihua asked.

The assistant smiled and answered politely, "She's looking through some documents from some production companies who want to market, display and sale their products in Chen's Mall".

"Ok, tell her I am waiting for her". Chen Lihua said and rolled her car's window up immediately, leaving the confused assistant as he watched her car drive away before going back inside the building.

In the car, Chen Lihua called Lady Chen and asked her to have lunch with her in the restaurant nearest to her company building.

Lady Chen flipped through the document in front of her and sighed before agreeing to her daughter.

She was very busy at the moment but had to give in to Chen Lihua as it was the first time her daughter was asking her out for lunch.

Just as she dropped her phone, her assistant knocked and came in.

He dropped the shopping bag on her table and relayed the message from Chen Lihua.

Lady Chen smiled and stood up from her swivel chair. Her eyes glanced at the shopping bag, but without the time to check the gift out, she picked her bag and phone and left her office with her assistant.

Chen Lihua, on the other hand, felt that her mother was quite pitiful and lonely, with no one to care and look after her, so that's why she asked her out for lunch even though she was not in the right mood.

In a small Villa somewhere in B city, an almost middle-aged woman who still had her looks and body maintained properly had a phone placed on her ear while sitting on the dining chair as servants placed foods on her table.

"Why are you scared of her?" She asked as she patted her hair.

The person said something, and she replied without care, "Just notify me when you are ready and in need of my help. Bye".

The woman ended the call with all smiles 😇. As the chef placed a plate of steak in front of her, she picked up her cutlery 🍴, cut a piece of steak before sending it into her mouth 👄.

As she savored the taste of steak in her mouth 👄, she closed her eyes 👀 with a smile 😊 on her face and a hmm escaped from her lips 💋.

She took a sip from the red wine 🍾 from her wine glass🍷before looking to the chef who was standing beside her.

"Am in a good mood, so prepare another plate of steak".

The chef left to do as she asked, and she turned to a maid who was still arranging the dishes on the table. "Pass me the vegetable salad".

In a private room of a classy restaurant, Chen Lihua ordered Chinese food for two while waiting for her mother.

Just then, Lady Chen came in, in her white suit and trouser, then a green handbag and green heels.

As she sat down, she parted her blood-red painted lips to ask Chen Lihua, "Have you ordered the dishes?"

Chen Lihua stared at her answered without a smile, "Yes, the food will be served soon".

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lady Chen said, keeping her bag beside her.

"Looking at how elegant and gorgeous you look, your young body and face without wrinkles. I'm just angry I wasted my sympathy on you". Chen Lihua answered with her palm on her jaw.

Lady Chen scoffed, "Are you waiting for me to look old and haggard before you display the affection you have for me?"
