Next up, they all sat around a very big round table before they introduced themselves, starting from the Chen family.

"I felt that the sweets have stayed too long and will spoil soon, so I had to finish it so I won't regret it when it spoils". Chen Lihua said.

"Let's go to the hospital for a check-up and a prescription".

Liu Longwei sighed and wondered if she was still a little girl that couldn't let her favorite snacks go to waste. But this showed that Chen Lihua indeed liked the Indian Sweets very much.

"I am a doctor, or can't you see it? There's no need to go to the hospital for something as simple as this. What do you take me for? An acting robot? Let's go home straight, I have some medicines in my First Aid box". Chen Lihua said as beads of sweats could now be seen forming on her forehead.

Liu Longwei used his white handkerchief to wipe them off as his heart began to ache for her because he remembered that she said she was afraid of pain.

Without needing to instruct the driver, he sped up the car.

Back home, as Chen Lihua got off the car, she placed her hand on her abdomen and tried to walk straight. But was suddenly carried in a bridal style by Liu Longwei.

"One of the two pills is a pain relief drug, while the one pill is a sleeping drug". Chen Lihua answered as she took the glass of water from the maid and the drugs from Liu Longwei.

Then she proceeded to swallow the drug with water, one at a time.

Liu Longwei watched her speechlessly but waited till she finished taking all the drugs before asking, "Why don't you take the pills at once, or two at a time".

Chen Lihua told the maid to get a small packet of chocolate from her drawer before answering Liu Longwei.

"Am afraid that if the drugs should touch my throat, I will throw up immediately because of the bitter taste because it has happened before".

Chen Lihua took a bite of chocolate 🍪 to smoothen the bitter taste on her tongue before giving the rest to the maid to eat.

The maid thanked her. Then she arranged the First Aid box and put it away before leaving with the chocolate and empty glass cup.

Because of Chen Lihua's condition, Liu Longwei insisted on spending the night with her.

So as Chen Lihua went to have her bath, Liu Longwei went back to his room to have a bath as well and came back after that.

Chen Lihua wore pajamas after her bath. And when she came into the room, she filled it with her Vanilla shower gel.

As the sleeping pill began to take effect, Chen Lihua laid on the bed with Liu Longwei and dozed off.
