"Before I forget, these are the deeds of all the properties now in your name. All you have to do is to sign it and let the lawyers tidy up the remaining work". Lady Chen said as she handed a few documents to her.

Chen Lihua took the documents and glanced at them before sighing.

Then she smiled and said, "Now I have more money to spend. I will transfer some money to your orphanage account for the children".

"You have to send a reasonable amount because I want to take them on a trip for their holidays and buy gifts for them as well". Lady Chen said with a smile.

Chen Lihua got up as well as she followed her mother into her walk-in closet here, she saw a beautiful mint green chiffon gown sitting on a mannequin.

Lady Chen told her to wear the dress and come to her room to apply makeup.

Chen Lihua touched the dress with a smile on her face.

She felt that her mother was still the best because she was always looking after her.

So Chen Lihua dressed up quickly. She picked a black stiletto among her shoes and strapped it on her legs.

Now ready, she left with a black pouch 👝 in her hand after transferring her things from her other bag to this current one.

Lady Chen wore a formal gown. And as she was about applying red lipstick 💄, Chen Lihua came in and asked her to wait.

Then she opened her box of Indian Sweets and asked her to take some. Then she went ahead to explain happily, how she got them.

Lady Chen smiled knowing fully well that her daughter liked Indian sweets so much because she often talked about it.

Then she proceeded to pick a piece and put in her mouth to taste. Lady Chen immediately liked it and proceeded to eat more.

If Chen Lihua didn't stop her by saying, "Don't finish it, I promised Longwei that I would leave some for him", she would have eaten all.

Lady Chen sighed regretfully as she couldn't eat more, and so wondered if there was still time to take her daughter back and keep her for herself because right now, her daughter was thinking about her husband, something that never happened before she got married.

Chen Lihua put away the box and joined her mother in putting on a simple makeup.

Just as Chen Lihua and her mother stepped into the lively living room, they could spot a new couple and two male adults.

The duo recognized them immediately because the woman who had a slight resemblance to Lady Chen was her elder sister Bingbing.

You could see smiles everywhere as they all chatted away happily.

After greeting and asking about their flight, the whole family prepared to leave for the Liu residence as time was no longer on their side.

They Liu's did this to show respect to their new daughter-in-law and her family.
