'We live together'. This sentence totally caught all the reporters off guard, as some of them were already letting their imagination run wide, forgetting that married couples should live together.

So their dirty thoughts went this way, 'In a house where a handsome man and a beautiful woman stay together, what will happen between them?' 😄😄.

Suddenly, a rookie male reporter asked as loud as his voice could carry his words.

"Please one more thing, Mrs Liu. Could you please allow us to take a peek at your Engagement ring?"

As Chen Lihua was about to be pulled away by Liu Longwei, she stopped when she heard the question.

"No problem". Chen Lihua replied and raised her left palm to her chest level, displaying the 'Graff Pink Diamond Ring' worth $46.2 million.

Gasps of wows escaped from their lips as they stared at Chen Lihua's ring finger. Then lights from their Cameras kept flashing on her left palm.

But because of the light, Chen Lihua brought her hand down in seconds.

Liu Longwei held Chen Lihua's hand and started walking off towards the entrance door of the building.

And as he did so, the bodyguards totally surrounded them again, allowing the two to be in the middle as they made way for them and escorted them inside.

But that didn't stop more questions to come from the reporters. So they began to ask questions that they were curious about their answers.

"Mr Liu is your union an arranged Marriage?"

"Mrs Liu how is your relationship with your in-laws?"

"Mrs Liu, your engagement ring looks expensive, who designed it?"

"Mrs Liu how much is your ring worth?"

But all they received was silence.

The last two questions enveloped a kind of curiosity in them, so they started finding those that took a picture of the ring, to exchange information.

Inside the hotel lounge, Chen Lihua met the same kind of atmosphere she met in the living room. Just that this time around, she met absolute darkness, she could hardly see a thing.

So she needed Liu Longwei's guardians in other to walk.

"Longwei what kind of surprise do you have for me again?" Chen Lihua inquired.

"Give me a second". Liu Longwei said as he clicked his fingers, and suddenly the whole place lighted up.

And as Chen Lihua was trying to recover from the sudden brightness from her surroundings, she heard a shout from so many voices, both male and female congratulating her.

"Congratulations Mrs Liu!"

Their voices were very loud and unexpected, so Chen Lihua covered her ears unconsciously.

Immediately their voices faded, rock music started to play, and that was when Chen Lihua was able to get a good look at her surroundings.

'Good lighting, Beautiful decorations'. Chen Lihua evaluated.

Just then, her eyes rested on the familiar and unfamiliar faces.

Then something caught her attention. Four white people. Two men and two ladies.

Then she called out in fluent English as if she wasn't sure, "Jessica, is that you?"

"Yes Baby girl, that's me". The slim black American lady said as she walked towards Chen Lihua with the others. She was the only black American in their midst.

Then Chen Lihua called out to the rest, with a tinge of shock in her voice, "Jesse, Angel, Mark, what are you guys doing here?"

"What? You are not happy to see us?" Angel asked with a smile.

"Of course am happy to see you all. It's just that am shocked. How did you know about this?" Chen Lihua asked.

Jesse smiled and pulled Chen Lihua in for a hug as he said, "You should greet us first before any question should come up. So how are you doing, beautiful?"

Chen Lihua hugged him back, "Am fine and you?" Before hugging the others and apologizing, "Guys I am so sorry".

They were among her very good friends, so they didn't even take it to heart.

Mark answered her question. "We were touring Asia, and in a bid to surprise you, we decided to come down to China. But we didn't know the exact town you stayed, so we started making inquiries, and that was how we were dragged to this party by your husband".

"This is indeed a wonderful surprise. Thank you guys for coming". Chen Lihua said as she smiled gratefully.

"Come on, you don't have to thank us, what are friends for?" Angel said happily.

"Lily we got something for you. It's a surprise and so we can't tell you. But you will get your present after the party". Jesse said, giving knowing smile.

"Come on girl, show us your engagement ring". Jessica giggled.

Chen Liu smiled as she showed her ring finger to them.

Jessica immediately held her fingers on sighting the ring and exclaimed, "OMG! This ring is beautiful and it looks like it costs cities".

All of them admired the ring and praised her.

Then Mark said, "Of course, that ring costs a fortune". Then he looked at the clueless Chen Lihua and asked, "Do you even know how much your ring is worth?"

Chen Lihua answered, "No. I asked my husband, but he refused to tell me the price, so I decided to let it go. Do you know the worth? Hurry up and tell me"

"Since your husband doesn't want you to know, then I won't tell you. Because given your nature, you might even return the ring to him".

Chen Lihua sighed in disappointment, and so didn't ask further.

They all picked up champagne glasses from the table and started conversing and laughing.

Liu Longwei who has long abandoned his wife was seen drinking with his friends.

When Chen Lihua hugged her friends, including the male friends, One of Liu Longwei's friends pointed towards that direction and asked him, "Your wife is hugging other men. Are you sure she won't be snatched away tonight?"

Liu Longwei looked towards Chen Lihua's direction and answered, "Not possible because she loves me deep down her heart".

Then after a while, he stood up and walked towards Chen Lihua.

As Chen Lihua was busy laughing, she didn't notice that Liu Longwei was standing behind her until Jessica gave her a sign to look behind her.
