Shinobi Exam: First Question, Why Was Akatsuki Destroyed? Chapter 76

Whoosh!
At the instant when the exam space dissipated, a figure instantly moved.
Jiraiya first whirled up and rushed at Nagato.
"Return to Amegakure on your own!"
Konan's expression changed. She hastily left a sentence to the Genin group behind her, and her feet moved. She quickly jumped up.
Whoosh!
With a pair of paper wings at her back, Konan's speed instantly increased. She arrived in front of Jiraiya, who was using Sky Walk to rush up.
The members of Akatsuki did so too and ran towards the sky.
Uchiha Itachi's gaze flickered a few times. The fact that the leader didn't choose Uchiha Sasuke in the final stage already meant something.
'But...'
'Sasuke can't be left in Konoha!'
Uchiha Itachi put the token with Sasuke's name in his clothes, held Sasuke, and ran towards the sky together.
In the Kirigakure crowd, Momochi Zabuza let out a cry of surprise. He found himself almost falling. He thought he was under attack and was about to resist when he heard Hoshigaki Kisame's voice.
"Don't move."
Then, Kisame dragged him into the air.
....
"Art is an explosion! Hah!"
The moment chakra was restored, Deidara made a bold move and threw a pile of exploding clay directly at the Iwagakure crowd.
Boom, boom, boom, boom...
After listening to a series of explosions, Deidara's anger subsided.
He was really pissed off!
It's just that Earth Release blocked all the explosive clays, and the wielder, Ōnoki, gave Deidara an 'I believe you' look.
'Deidara, Kurotsuchi is in your hands!'
Seeing the meaning in Ōnoki 's eyes, Deidara felt a flutter in his chest. He was so angry he could almost feel his heart squeeze.
With a hostile glance at Ōnoki, Deidara knew he was no match and turned to step away.
.....
"The plan has worked. Akatsuki, retreat."
After Nagato finished speaking, he used Shinra Tensei to blow Jiraiya away. Then he controlled the six Pains and directly ran outside of Konohagakure.
The Akatsuki crowd saw this and followed.
"Damn you!"
Jiraiya punched his fist into the air in front of him but had no choice but to let them go.

Now that they didn't know if Sarutobi Hiruzen was dead or alive, and shinobi from other villages were still in Konoha, he couldn't possibly go after them without thinking of the village.
"Third Hokage-sama! Hokage-sama!"
"It's the Fourth Kazekage! The two of them..."
The alarming cry from below startled everyone. Jiraiya's face instantly changed, and he ran in the direction of the sound.
...
Half a day later, the members of Akatsuki had returned to Amegakure.
At the instant when everyone landed, Shukaku, who had been playing dead on Gaara's back, suddenly began to grow rapidly.
This sudden change startled Gaara, and he quickly threw Shukaku out of his hand.
Coincidentally, his position was out of Shukaku's reach, right in the middle of the Akatsuki crowd.
"Hehehe, the big guy came out!"
"You bastard fox!"
Shukaku's body rapidly expanded as if it were inflating, and its hideous voice continued to ring out:
"You... All of you will die... hehe... Ugh!"
Shukaku's laughter stopped with a jolt as if he had been caught by the throat. He watched in horror as several figures surrounded him.
'These eyes ...?!?'
'Rinnegan?'
Shukaku's body froze completely. He stiffly looked at Kurama, who was smiling with malicious intent on Naruto's head.
"Don't kill it."
Uzumaki Nagato lightly glanced at Shukaku, who hadn't figured out the current situation yet, and turned to leave. The six Pains were left behind by him, surrounding the five youngsters in the middle, for protection.
"Don't destroy the surrounding buildings."
Konan said in a cold voice, flapping her wings and flying away. She had to go pick up the Genin of Amegakure. She didn't have time to watch the boring battle here.
Uchiha Itachi saw Uzumaki Nagato leave. His eyes flashed, and he chased Nagato with Sasuke in his arms.
For Sasuke's sake, he had to talk to Uzumaki Nagato.
"This ..."
"This ..."
Uzumaki Karin was so dumbfounded at the moment that she felt like she was dreaming!
To dream a big dream that the old her wouldn't have imagined!
She looked around in horror. Originally, she felt that the huge chakra of the Tailed Beasts had been incomparably terrifying, but now, in contrast to the Akatsuki crowd, there was something... But umm?

Even among the Akatsuki members, there was someone who exceeded the amount of chakra the monster in front of them had...
'How is this possible?'
"Hey, new guy, it's all yours."
As Kakuzu's words fell, the Akatsuki members had a very tacit understanding, so they uniformly leaped backward. The six Pains also led the five youngsters to withdraw, leaving only Momochi Zabuza in the center.
'Gulp!'
Momochi Zabuza swallowed with difficulty, and he felt his throat was a little dry.
'Sh... should it be this crazy?'
'Could everyone in Akatsuki defeat a Tailed Beast? Or, did they want to get rid of me?'
'Damn it! Damn it!'
"Ninja Technique: Hidden Mist Jutsu!"
Momochi Zabuza didn't dare to think too deeply. He directly used a one-handed seal, and immediately afterward, the mist started to gather. As the fog grew thicker and thicker, his figure also disappeared from everyone's sight.
.....
Uzumaki Nagato had just returned to the building above Amegakure when Uchiha Itachi caught up, bringing Uchiha Sasuke with him.
"Leader, I want Sasuke to stay in Akatsuki."
When he saw Nagato, Uchiha Itachi got straight to the point.
"Konoha is no longer suitable for Sasuke to stay in, and ..."
"Why should I take him in?"
Nagato interrupted Uchiha Itachi, curious as to what the other man had up his sleeve that made him think he would grant his request.
Upon hearing Uzumaki Nagato's words, Uchiha Itachi didn't change his expression. He hesitated for a moment, then reached out with a wave of his hand, and a gate of light appeared in front of them.
This magical scene made Uzumaki Nagato pause. This gate was much like the one he first encountered in the exam space.
Just when Uzumaki Nagato was suspicious, Uchiha Itachi's voice sounded.
"This is the exclusive reward I got from the last exam. It's called the Gate of Time. It allows me to go back to any time within the past three years."
After Uchiha Itachi finished his words, he looked at Nagato without saying anything more.
Uchiha Itachi knew that Nagato would understand what he wanted to say.
Sometimes, when communicating with smart shinobi, threats didn't need to be said out loud.
"Yes."
Sure enough, Nagato understood Uchiha Itachi's hidden meaning. He lifted his hand and pulled Uchiha Sasuke into his own hands.
"What are you going to do now?"
Uchiha Itachi froze for a moment, not expecting Uzumaki Nagato to ask him that question out of the blue.
"Kill Danzō before he gets those Sharingan."
"Kill Shimura Danzō?"
This time it was Uzumaki Nagato's turn to freeze. He didn't expect that Uchiha Itachi was going to do that.
'What's the use of just killing Shimura Danzō?'
Uzumaki Nagato once again discovered Uchiha Itachi's narrow-mindedness. Not only not knowing how to adapt, but ... even his IQ might have a problem.
"Is there a time limit for your exclusive reward?"
Uzumaki Nagato glanced at the glowing door in front of him. With his understanding of Itachi, this kind of bravado, and even directly threatening himself...
'Looks like he isn't going to come back.'
"5 hours."
"5 hours?"
Uzumaki Nagato froze, then his thoughts raced. He realized that there was a lot of potential from this Gate of Time!
"Right now, can you defeat the 'you' that destroyed your clan?"
"The me that destroyed my clan?"
Uchiha Itachi quickly grasped the key points in Uzumaki Nagato's words, repeated them, and looked at the latter suspiciously.
"I can't."
Uzumaki Nagato nodded unsurprisingly, knowing that Uchiha Itachi was declining in strength. And not to mention the latter had been suffering from severe hemoptysis.
Nagato always suspected that Itachi used the powerful pupil technique when exterminating his clan and seriously over-drafted his pupil powers, just like how he had over drafted chakra from his own body.
"However, I have a way to stop him." Itachi confidently added.
"And what about Uchiha Obito?"
