Shinobi Exam: First Question, Why Was Akatsuki Destroyed? Chapter 16

[Question 4: Which of the following killed Jiraiya during his investigation?]
[ A: His student Namikaze Minato.]
[B: His student Uzumaki Naruto.]
[C: His student Uzumaki Nagato.]
[D: His student's student Uchiha Obito.]
"I ... died?"
In the exam space, Jiraiya froze for a moment, then the corners of his mouth picked up slightly. Unlike everyone in Akatsuki, he had already prepared for his death.
In the shinobi world, investigating information was one of the most dangerous tasks.
The chances of dying in this kind of mission far exceed those of going undercover.
Seeing his end, his death, Jiraiya's heart had a hint of regret.
He hadn't found the child predicted by the Great Toad Sage. Tsunade hadn't agreed to him yet and opened up her heart to him. She ...
'Wait!'
Suddenly, Jiraiya looked at the options and then at the leader of Akatsuki, the guy in a wheelchair.
"Nagato?"
"Nagato!"
Jiraiya's tone became more and more certain.
In the beginning, he felt Nagato and Konan were familiar, but Jiraiya didn't think about it because there were too many Rinnegan users in the space here.
Until now, when he saw the name Uzumaki Nagato in the answers to the fourth question, he remembered the three orphans he had taken in Amegakure.
"Nagato, Konan."
Jiraiya waved carelessly and saw Pain turn his head. Jiraiya looked at the two, his voice full of joy.
He didn't expect to meet his former students here.
Especially now, they had grown into powerful shinobis.
This made Jiraiya feel gratified and proud:
"Konan, Nagato, where is Yahiko?"
"Yahiko ..."
Nagato didn't expect to hear this name from Jiraiya's mouth again, so he fell into a trance.
Time seemed to go back to the time when Jiraiya took care of the trio.

If he hadn't left at that time, that wouldn't have happened.
Nagato pressed down his emotions. His voice sounded like a Kami, without a trace of emotion.
"That guy is already dead!"
...
"Uzumaki Nagato is Jiraiya's student? That Uchiha Obito is his student's student?"
"Jiraiya-sama, this is too miserable!"
"I didn't expect it. I didn't expect these two people to be his students. What kind of karma is this?!"
"However, worthy of a Sannin, to have taught such a strong disciple, and more than one."
In front of Konohagakure, the loser Uzumaki Naruto stared blankly at the frozen white-haired monster above him.
He didn't even listen to the things discussed by people around him.
Or maybe he heard it but got used to pretending not to listen to it.
He didn't know who this guy with long white hair was, but his unruly appearance and indescribable temperament gave him a good feeling at first glance.
As if he was waiting for this person his whole life!
"He's going to be my sensei?"
Seeing his name, Uzumaki Naruto smiled.
'If this guy is going to be my sensei, then I'll promise not to mess up and train with him well.'
'By the way, doesn't that guy Uchiha Obito have to call me senpai now?'
Uzumaki Naruto smirked as he looked at the guy, who was silently wailing in exam space and shook his head.
He was too young to understand the suffering the former was experiencing, but since he was now his senpai...
'Then I have to get revenge for him!'
"Sensei, and Obito-kouhai, when I become Hokage, I'll definitely get revenge for you!"
Uzumaki Naruto's voice caused some dissatisfaction among a group of shinobi around him.
They were about to curse a few words, but when they turned around they saw that ... it was him!

After they changed expressions several times, they finally suppressed it.
Next to him, several Genins were about to insult the fool, but a friend stopped them on the side.
"Today is not like the old days. The Sannin, Jiraiya-sama, is going to be his sensei."
Hearing their friend's advice, the several Genin put on an ugly smile, then turned their heads and went back to the village.
This guy was a monster, which had something to do with the Nine-Tailed demon fox's attack on Konohagakure several years ago.
They were Genins, and they couldn't get access to high-level secrets. They only knew that some parents, children, and loved ones died on that bloody night.
And he was the culprit!
"Haha, sure enough, it's different."
Uzumaki Naruto punched his own palm. Just now, he thought he was almost going to get bullied, beaten, and scolded again. Unexpectedly, they gave him an ugly smile and simply left.
He heard what the group said when they left.
"Jiraiya-sama, was that because of you?"
....
"Jiraiya, you're still so stupid."
Orochimaru coldly looked at the red-faced Jiraiya and spoke out, "Look at the third option. You are in danger of dying at his hands."
The disbelief in Orochimaru's eyes hadn't completely disappeared. He didn't expect that Akatsuki's leader was the same child from back then.
The child who almost died at his own hands.
Orochimaru secretly rejoiced. Fortunately, he was relatively stable when he was in Akatsuki. Otherwise, he would have been miserable if the kid went looking for payback.
At that time, he met Deva Path Pain. After losing the battle, he volunteered to join Akatsuki to stay alive.
He was acutely aware of how scary the guy with Rinnegan was, not to mention his bizarre sealless jutsu.
Now, there were a bunch of guys with Rinnegan.
Even Orochimaru felt his scalp tingling.
"Impossible, my students wouldn't kill me."
Jiraiya turned around and spoke to Orochimaru. Out of the corner of his eye, he happened to see the subdued Uchiha Obito.
"And ... I think my student's student wouldn't strike me down either."
Jiraiya said something that even he didn't truly believe.
"We can rule out option A: Namikaze Minato. He's already dead." Kakuzu suddenly said.
He said so because the wanted notice on Namikaze Minato hanging in the underground bounty office was withdrawn.
He knew so much about this matter partly because that bounty was so high that it left an impression on him.
On the other hand, this was one of the few commissions he was afraid to take on in recent decades.
"Option D: Uchiha Obito could also be ruled out. His strength is no match for Jiraiya."
Seeing Kakuzu speaking, Uchiha Itachi also spoke up.
He knew about Uchiha Obito's Mangekyō's ability to open up another dimension.
Although Obito had developed it into many variations, its killing capability wasn't very powerful.
The use of space to evade and sneak up on the enemy was just that. Such strength wasn't enough to kill a shinobi at the Sannin level.
"So, only option B: Uzumaki Naruto and I are left."
Nagato nodded and looked at Jiraiya.
"Uzumaki Naruto, who is he?"
