My Senior Brother Is Too Steady Chapter 523

Chapter 523 Grand White Palace! Grand White Hall!
“Lord Water God, Lord Water God?” Li Changshou suddenly heard Truth Listener’s voice in his heart. His attention immediately landed on the paper effigy in the corner of Fengdu City. Truth Listener muttered in his heart… ‘Lord Water God, don’t reply. I’m afraid that the other party will discover you.’
“Today, a fat Daoist came to look for my master. Master called him Eldest Senior Brother, but I have never seen this spirit on the spiritual mountain. He must be a ruthless person from the Western Sect who has never appeared.’ ‘His cultivation level is high, and his Dao Realm makes me feel a little oppressed. However, I don’t seem to exist. What came today should be just a wisp of spiritual will.’ ‘He forced my silly master to write a congratulatory letter. He will probably send someone to the Heavenly Courts later. However, I’m not sure if he wants to cause trouble or if he wants to repair the relationship between the Western Sect and the Heavenly Courts.’
I wanted to report to you in advance that my master has been obediently in charge of the Reincarnation Pagoda and has not participated in any matters of the Western Sect. I have no choice but to write the congratulatory words. “Congratulations to the Water God for ascending to the Great White Star Lord and becoming a second-stage righteous god of the Heavenly Courts. Let’s take our leave first. If there’s anything, you can just inform me…” The mysterious voice gradually weakened. Li Changshou could not help but be silent.
Truth Listener…
Why did it develop itself into an offline outsider of the adult sect?
The Eldest Senior Brother of the Western Sect? The fat Daoist?
I’ve really never heard of it. Could it be that it might appear in the future… Maitreya? Speaking of which, Ksitigarbha had already said, “If I don’t enter hell, who will?” There is nothing surprising about Maitreya’s appearance.
However, he had never heard that the Maitreya was related to the Great God-Conferment Tribulation… In a dark corner, Li Changshou hugged his arms and fell into deep thought again. Just as he had expected, the various factions wanted to take the opportunity to cause trouble during the Great White Ceremony that was centered around him. Li Changshou had expected that the Western Sect would want to reconcile with the Heavenly Courts and even join forces.
That was one of the three ways that the Western Sect could use.
The other two methods to break the situation were:
Using the pawns that he had hidden previously to sow discord between the Heavenly Courts and the Dao Sect. “Defend yourself by severing your arm, abandon your car, and protect your commander. Act pitiful in the Purple Cloud Palace and take three steps back.”
This time, the Jade Emperor sent out an invitation and gave people a chance to enter the Heavenly Courts. He also gave the Western Sect space to operate.
Therefore…
Did the Jade Emperor do it on purpose or not? If it was intentional, it would definitely be a brilliant move to stand in the position of the Heavenly Emperor.
What the Heavenly Emperor had to do at this juncture was to balance the power between all the major sects and let the other party restrain each other. In the upcoming Great Tribulation, he would let the Heavenly Courts obtain more benefits and stabilize their position.
Li Changshou could understand that.
If it was unintentional, it would be just like the title of the three hundred Chang’e head instructors of the Heavenly Courts. They simply wanted to give him some benefits as an “employee”…
Advertisement
That would be pure trouble. He had to clean up this mess himself.
He decided to just assume that this was the price he had to pay to become an ordinary god of authority in the Heavenly Courts.
Praise the Jade Emperor. He shifted his attention back to the Pill Chamber of Little Qiong Peak. The paper effigy looked at Ling’e, who was meditating under the tree in the distance, and… The three-inch-tall pagoda on Ling’e’s shoulder was slowly spinning A breeze blew past. Ling’e’s long hair fluttered gently, and her thin training attire emitted a faint glow.
Li Changshou smiled calmly.
Come on.
Plot, scheme, plot, and scheme. The journey to a stable life is ultimately unstable. He had put in so much effort today just for what he had experienced. He would not disturb the people behind him.
Tomorrow, he would seek victory in a stable manner. He was just trying to save the person he wanted to save and not leave any regrets in the Primordial World.
Uh, why do I suddenly have the mentality of an old father…
Li Changshou chuckled and returned his attention to the Heavenly Courts’ Water God Residence. The Golden Immortal paper effigy that was about to appear later sat behind the desk and focused.
The paper effigy was condensed from the ancient spiritual tree sap. It was equipped with three core Golden Cores and used the various restrictions that Li Changshou had recently sorted out. Moreover, the spotless white robe on his body was a numinous treasure immortal robe. It could greatly make up for the paper effigy’s weakness. At the same time, he represented the image of the immortals of the Heavenly Courts. He had to pay attention to some details to prevent others from making fun of him.
Hence, ten days later…
When dawn arrived…
As if they had agreed previously, streams of light surged from the five continents of the Primordial World. They gathered towards the five Heavenly Gates of the Heavenly Courts from the Kunlun Mountain, the Four Seas Immortal Island, the Jade Void Palace, the Green Touring Palace, and the outer space.
At the various Heavenly Gates, the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals puffed out their chests and raised their heads. They were dressed in bright armor and held bright spears in their hands. Their auras were connected into one. They did not lower their heads when facing the Golden Immortals. On the Heaven Gate that was made of white jade, three divine swords surrounded it. The dignity of the Heavenly Courts was fully revealed! The first batch to rush to the Heavenly Courts were the Sect Leaders, Mountain Lords, and Elders of the various immortal sects in the Middle Continent.
Every immortal sect related to the Dao Sect had received an invitation from the Heavenly Courts this time. They had also sent experts who could represent their sect.
At that moment, there were not many Heaven Immortals entering and exiting the Heaven Gate!
It was obvious how many longevity immortals had accumulated since the Primordial World.
The ones who rushed over were some unimportant disciples of the Three Sects of the Dao Sect. Dozens of immortals from the Jade Void Palace of Chan School arrived. Hundreds of men and women were carefully selected from the various immortal islands of Jie School. Interestingly, there were many Heaven Immortal realm cultivators among the immortals of the two sects.
When the Immortal Sects of the Middle Continent and the East Continent saw these Heaven Immortals, they all considered themselves juniors. There were differences in the Dao and rules in the Primordial World.

That was an order that the six Saints had released.
The guests entered the Heaven Gate. There was a cloud path guarded by Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals in front of them. It guided them to ride the cloud towards the Grand White Palace. They could not move around recklessly.
In order not to disturb the Heavenly Courts today, the Grand White Palace, which was originally at the edge of the Seventh and Eighth Heavens, temporarily landed in the middle of the Sixth Heaven.
Gradually, there were more and more immortals from various sects. It was similar to the Three Sects’ Meet back then.
The celebration began at noon. The “big shots” experts would naturally arrive later. Only then would they appear impressive. However, today, a few experts had arrived together. They did not put on any airs. When they met the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals, they would smile and be amiable. They even made arrangements to help the Water God entertain the guests.
They were the in-name disciples of the Saint of Ren School. There were Perfected Ones who had many friends on Kunlun Mountain, as well as the Sect Masters of the Immortal Sects.
Even if he did not receive an invitation today, the Sect Leader of the Immortal Du Sect, who had been summoned by Perfected Du’e, Ji Wuyou, who was an ordinary Golden Immortal combat unit, had already arrived at the Western Heavenly Gate to wait.
The Water God conferred the title of a second-rank righteous god. That was a huge matter for the immortals of Ren School! Before dawn, Perfected Du’e was already busy in his Eight Treasures Cave.
He chose a bright green silk robe and a pair of Eight Steps Flowing Cloud Boots. He carefully coiled his grayish-white hair and combed it well. He carefully chose a horsetail whisk, a cloud, a jade pendant, and a cloud handkerchief. Then, he hid the Connate Qi in his aperture. If he encountered anyone causing trouble later, he would snort and Ha. He would definitely make the Golden Immortals’ essence souls weak and the Zenith Heaven suppressed!
Of course, if he did not cultivate the mystical ability of the second Qi in the aperture well, he would easily be injured by the shock and the useless essence soul of the medicinal pills…
According to the agreement that he had made a few days ago, Perfected Du’e met up with a few in-name disciples of Ren School. He stuck to the tradition of the Primordial World and maintained his laughter while swaying his body towards the Western Heavenly Gate. Along the way, he attracted many immortal senses to spy on him.
From afar, Ji Wuyou saw his master and the seniors of Ren School and immediately rode a cloud forward.
Perfected Du’e flicked his horsetail whisk and laughed.
“Hahahaha!”
“Wuyou, you have to buck up today. When you see the experts of Chan School and Jie School, remember to greet them. You have to be polite! I heard that Senior Brother Changgeng did not accept any disciples. Today, you will be half a disciple of Senior Brother Changgeng and promise him everything.” “I understand.”
Ji Wuyou lowered his head and answered. He forcefully held back his cough and had a complicated gaze.
He cursed using Ren School’s vulgarities. What is going on? He was a disciple of the Immortal Du Sect, but he, the Sect Leader, had to address him as “Uncle-Master”. He also had to be a servant at the celebration!
Ji Wuyou sighed in his heart. He looked at the complicated and gorgeous Daoist robe on his body. It was quite appropriate. Perfected Du’e had sent a voice transmission to emphasize his request. There was nothing he could do.
If others knew about the identity and rise of the Water God…
Ji Wuyou’s Dao heart trembled. He suddenly wanted to turn around and leave. He closed the door and retreated from the position of Sect Leader in advance. The group entered the Western Heavenly Gate and headed towards the Great White Hall with the guests. Many immortals greeted them on the way, and their laughter echoed in the Nine Heavens. When Perfected Du’e, Ji Wuyou, and the others arrived at the Great White Hall, more than a thousand immortals from the three sects had gathered outside the hall. There was still a steady stream of immortals rushing over. Ji Wuyou looked at the Great White Hall from afar. It was really abnormally imposing.
The hall was more than a thousand feet long and wide. White jade pillars that three people could hug lined up and supported the roof of the hall.
There were not many stones on the four sides of the hall. They were replaced by a vermillion wooden wall made of superior-grade spiritual wood. The wooden wall was carved with all kinds of spirits. Immortal light surrounded the outside, and the hall could project the shadows of all spirits, adding some spiritual energy.
The arrangements in the hall were not complicated, but everything was extremely exquisite. There were carvings, pillars, and colors.
The ground was made of Starlight Stones that were 30 feet square. They were polished like mirrors. In order to prevent the female immortal from feeling awkward, they were emitting a foot-thick immortal fog.
The top of the hall was divided into eight levels.
Nine was the extreme, while eight represented the status of the master of the hall below the level of a
god.
At the highest point of the dome, there were carvings of the sun, moon, and stars. Below them were pavilions and halls. Below them were old men playing chess, children riding cranes, dragons dancing, and auspicious beasts forming auspicious signs…
The various murals were different. There were countless wonderful strokes.
The dome was filled with the Grand Pure One elements. The Yin-Yang Twin Fish could be seen everywhere. The Cosmic Ruler and the Mysterious Yellow Pagoda appeared repeatedly.
At that moment, most of the immortals in the hall were painting at the top of the evaluation hall. They had different interpretations.
There was no platform in the hall. There were no additional seats today. After all, they were only there to watch the ceremony. There were thirty-six white jade steps in front of the hall. Below the steps was a square “square”. There were railings around it, and in the middle was an incense burner.
In terms of grandeur, it had already surpassed the Tushita Palace.
When Li Changshou’s immortal senses saw that, he was a little puzzled. He lived alone. Why did he have to get such a huge place…
He felt that the Jade Emperor and General Dongmu were frantically hinting at something. Perfected Dule and Ji Wuyou arrived in front of the hall and walked up under the attention of the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals.
The eyes of the two generals standing in front of the hall lit up at the same time. Before Ao Yi, who was on the right, could react, Bian Zhuang, who was on the left, rushed out.
The legacy of the family was to welcome guests professionally! Bian Zhuang kept cupping his hands and bowing. He exchanged greetings with Perfected Dule and inadvertently revealed his Nine-Toothed Harrow, proving that he was also a disciple of Ren School.
Hence, a moment later… a few disciples of the Grand Pure One of the older generation of the Ren School entered the hall. Ji Wuyou was left behind by Perfected Du’e. He stood beside Bian Zhuang and Ao Yi and welcomed them with a smile.
His Daoist robe was too eye-catching. He was handsome and handsome. He also walked a peaceful cultivation path. His temperament was outstanding, causing many fairies to look at him. Ji Wuyou thought, ‘I want to kill myself. I’ve never been so sure.’ Fortunately, not long after, a white cloud flew over from the direction of the Water God Residence. The slender figure stood on it and was also listed as a door attendant. The Heavenly Courts’ Golden Roc Marshal, the Golden-Winged Roc, who had the great mystical ability of the phoenix race, had transformed into a refined young man. He stood in the most eye-catching position in front of the hall and helped Ji Wuyou, who was “gorgeous”, share most of his attention. The Primordial World was not just about looks. It would give more attention to the experts. More than ten Moon Palace musicians were playing immortal music in the hall.
A hundred Chang’e flew over with the music. They lined up in the hall and danced gracefully, adding to the beauty.
When it was close to noon, hundreds of fairies rushed over from the Jade Pool. They carried trays filled with delicacies and fine wine from the Jade Pool.
The fairies cast spells together and made the jade plates and wine bottles float above the sea of clouds in the hall. They slowly flowed outside and followed the guests to enjoy. It also increased the cost of organizing the ceremony! Another hour later, the guests slowed down and a large number of famous experts appeared. Suddenly, he heard a gong outside the hall. Bian Zhuang, who was dressed in silver-white armor, walked to the front of the stairs and shouted at the white clouds in the sky, “The ten Heavenly Lords of Golden Ao Island have arrived!”
The immortals outside the hall looked over and saw that the Heavenly Lord Qin Tian and the Goddess of Golden Light were leading the ten Heavenly Lords to the Grand White Palace of the Heavenly Courts! Although the ten Heavenly Lords were a group of experts who wanted to make a fool of the twelve Golden Immortals of Chan School back then, they naturally had their own pride. As soon as Bian Zhuang finished speaking, he turned around and returned to his seat. Ao Yi immediately took half a step forward and shouted, “The twelve Golden Immortals of Chan School, Perfected Taiyi, Perfected Yu Ding, and the Heavenly Lord of Dao cultivation have arrived!” Once that was said, the two Heavenly Courts’ generals began to shout alternately, “The four immortals of the Nine Dragons Island have arrived!”
“The Golden Immortal of Chan School, Yun Zhongzi, has arrived!”
“The eldest outer sect disciple of Jie School, Fairy Qiong Xiao, and Fairy Bi Xiao have arrived!” “The twelve Golden Immortals of Chan School, Exalted Immortal Chi Jingzi, and Exalted Immortal of the South Pole have arrived!”
“The Saint of Jie School has arrived!”
One after another, the two sects seemed to be competing to see who had more experts and who had more experts. The Golden-Winged Roc and Ji Wuyou were rather worried. They were really afraid that Bian Zhuang and Ao Yi would suddenly fight while shouting. “Deputy Sect Master of Chan School, Randeng…”
Ao Yi paused and lowered his voice. He added softly, “Yes.”
Bian Zhuang saw three figures flying over from afar. Just as he was about to be energized, his Dao heart, which was suppressed by the extremely sharp Dao runes, trembled. He recognized the person on the cloud and hurriedly shouted, “The Eldest Disciple of Jie School, the Goddess of Golden Spirit, the Goddess of Wudang, and the Goddess of Turtle Spirit have arrived!”
After saying that, Bian Zhuang even raised his eyebrows at Ao Yi as if he had won. Ao Yi smiled confidently and shouted, “The eldest outer sect disciple of Jie School, Fairy Yun Xiao, has arrived!”
That voice really alarmed everyone. They instantly focused their attention on the sky.
A white cloud slowly floated over, and a beautiful figure stood there.
Jie School, Yun Xiao!
She did not hide her face and figure today. She even dressed up and even put on some light makeup. Clearly, she took today’s matter very seriously. She had a pair of watery eyes and a flowing cloud robe. There was good fortune between her eyebrows, and the world seemed beautiful. Her slender and beautiful figure was slightly weak. Her black hair fluttered in the wind like a waterfall. She was not charming nor did she increase her power. However, she could make people unable to shift their gazes away. They did not dare to look directly at her. They could only sigh in their hearts. The Water God is so lucky that I can’t envy him. Before Fairy Yun Xiao landed in front of the hall, the Golden-Winged Roc, Bian Zhuang, and Ao Yi had already walked forward. Halfway through, they cupped their fists and lowered their heads. “Greetings, Fairy Yun Xiao!” Ao Yi said, “The Water God is currently in the Water God Residence and has yet to arrive. Are you going to the Water God Residence to meet him, or are you waiting here?” Fairy Yun Xiao said gently, “Thank you, generals. I’ll wait here with my fellow disciples.” Bian Zhuang lowered his head and said, “Please inform us if you have any orders.” Following that, the three of them turned around and invited Fairy Yun Xiao in.
The Chang’e who were standing in two rows below were also carefully sizing them up. They were all impressed and understood why their head instructor could ignore Heng’e’s beauty and not cause trouble. The two fairies leading the group looked at each other and suddenly changed their pace. They each brought a few Chang’e over slowly. The moment Fairy Yun Xiao landed in front of the hall, they circled around her and danced around her.
Yun Xiao was also a little curious. She stood quietly in front of the hall, but she did not know that she was surrounded by immortal light. She was as beautiful as a dream. In the Water God Residence, Li Changshou’s immortal senses watched that scene and could not help but…
There was a burst of silly laughter. The ink in his stomach was limited. No matter how he turned it around, he could not say that it was “nice”. He knew that Yun Xiao liked peace and quiet. She could appear like that because of his sake. Not to mention, she had put on light makeup today.
It was hard on her.
Li Changshou sat in the study for a while. His immortal senses captured the figure of General Dongmu rushing over. He pondered for a while and smiled evilly. Not long after, General Dongmu’s voice sounded from outside the door. “Changgeng! Changgeng is here! Ah, Changgeng, why haven’t you appeared yet?” The door opened and Li Changshou walked out with his horsetail whisk. He deliberately looked puzzled. “General Dongmu, what’s wrong? Where do you need me to appear?”
“Well…”
General Dongmu glared at him. Since he was going to announce the decree today, had specially changed into a luxurious robe.
“Changgeng, are you kidding me? Don’t you know what happened?” “What happened?” Li Changshou was puzzled. “I’ve been focusing on cultivation recently. There’s nothing wrong with the Heavenly Courts, the Immortal Union, and the Dao Sect.”
“How can that be!?!”
General Dongmu could not help but stomp his feet. He hurriedly said, “Quick, go to the Great White Hall. His Majesty has arranged a grand ceremony for you. He has invited the experts of the Primordial World. Today, he will let you advance to the second rank…” Suddenly, Li Changshou raised his hand and interrupted General Dongmu. He frowned and closed his eyes. “I was just teasing General Dongmu. Wait, something happened over there.” General Dongmu did not understand. Just as he was about to speak, Li Changshou’s expression changed. With a tap of his toes, his figure disappeared with a whoosh, leaving behind ripples in the surrounding universe.
In the Great White Palace, in the Great White Hall.
The immortal music stopped. The Chang’e dancers also stopped dancing. Together with the immortals, they looked towards the deepest part of the hall…
There was a handsome fairy who was looking at the Deputy Sect Master of Chan School helplessly. The teacup in her hand was tilted, and most of the tea spilled on the Burning Lamp Daoist robe. Li Changshou was both familiar and unfamiliar with that fairy. It was for Long Ji, who had come out of seclusion earlier that day.
Not far away from Randeng were the few eldest disciples of Jie School. Just now, Long Ji had wanted to toast Fairy Yun Xiao. However, when she passed by, her hand slipped for some reason… “Senior, I’ll…”
Long Ji hurriedly put away the tray and was at a loss. Randeng’s eyes focused as he said calmly, “Princess of the Heavenly Courts, are you deliberately targeting me?”
Then, he released his aura and his eyes were sharp. Long Ji frowned slightly. She knew that she had to deal with it calmly. She could not be rude or embarrass the Heavenly Courts. For a moment, she did not know how to explain. At that moment, Perfected Taiyi frowned and was about to say something when he was stopped by Chi Jingzi’s gaze. After all, Randeng was the Deputy Sect Master. He could not be arrogant in private, but he could not let others laugh at such an occasion. At the side, the Goddess of Golden Spirit snorted coldly. She looked at the place and was about to walk forward. She did not like Randeng.
However, just as the Goddess of Golden Spirit took half a step forward, a green light flashed into the hall. Green arcs of light scattered, and the universe in the hall trembled slightly. A white-haired old Daoist priest dressed in a white robe appeared out of thin air in front of Randeng. He had a kind expression and a faint smile on his lips.
The main character today, the Heavenly Courts’ Water God, Li Changgeng! Li Changshou could not help but feel anxious. In the original God-Conferment Tribulation, Long Ji had been banished to the mortal world because of her ‘lack of manners’. If this matter was blown up by Randeng, not only would it harm Long Ji, but it would also make the Jade Emperor hate Chan School. It was easy to sow discord between Chan School and the Heavenly Courts.
Under the calmness, danger was everywhere!
Li Changshou quickly thought about it and found the safest method.
“Deputy Sect Master Randeng, don’t blame me,” Li Changshou said calmly. “This disciple of mine has a straightforward personality. He abhors evil. Normally, he would listen to me say that the Deputy Sect Master is deliberately sowing discord between the two sects. That’s why he can’t help it. I’ll toast this tea to my disciple. Long Ji, go somewhere else.”

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

What do you wish for?
Norman hated his life. His peers ignored and bullied him. His mother nagged. His father was never home. Norman desperately wished for a miracle, but his prayers went unanswered. Until one night. **************************************** Note: This story is going to be very short. I would recommend reading it all at once. This story started out as a challenge I set for myself. I've recently felt bogged down because of the need to write more. That's why each chapter will be only 300 words long. Exactly 300 words long. At this point, I've pretty much written the whole thing, so I'm very confident that there will only be eight chapters.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
