Black Tech Internet Cafe System Chapter 306 – Items That Can’t be Understood

– In the Taixi Faction –
The white-robed old man was still fishing leisurely by the Xishui [Meaning – Xi Water] Lake.
Today, a burly black-robed old man sat beside him.
“It’s been years, and Duyou [Meaning – Lonely] Holiness still lives an idle life,” the black-robed old man stroked his long beard and said with a chuckle.
The white-robed old man said with a faint smile, “Cultivation has many forms. Meditation while sitting cross-legged is cultivation, and what I do is another form of cultivation, right? I’ve never been idle…”
The black-robed old man laughed and changed the subject. “I heard that there is a minor situation with the Yundian Upper Realm?”
The white-robed old man said mildly, “It’s no big deal. The situation will end soon.”
The sunlight reflected off the lake surface, shining onto his serene and peaceful face. Suddenly, a series of urgent footsteps sounded from behind him.
“Master, we got news from the Yundian Upper Realm,” the disciple reported.
“What is it?” The old man said with a faint smile, “Did they hurt each other as I predicted?”
“Hurt each other?” The black-robed old man said, “Duyou Holiness, don’t you want to give them a helping hand?”
“My Taixi Faction usually doesn’t interfere with worldly business,” the white-robed old man said thoughtfully, “But it’s time for us to make a move. When the Yundian Upper Realm comes to ask for our help, I’ll loan one treasure to them…”
“They didn’t hurt each other,” that disciple said in embarrassment.
“They didn’t hurt each other?” the old man said in surprise, “Is that force this weak?”
“No…” the disciple said, “They… they haven’t done anything to each other yet!”
The black-robed old man: “…”
Duyou Holiness: “…”
“Oh?” According to his judgement, after Dajin gave the Yundian Upper Realm such a heavy blow with the support of Fang Qi’s shop, the two parties would engage in a war. He wondered why nothing had happened.

“Is the information reliable?” Duyou Holiness’s face turned stiff.
“I…” The disciple said haltingly, “I found the situation weird but thought that the Yundian Upper Realm needed time to prepare. I asked the spies to observe them for a few more days, but they still did nothing!
“Strange.” Duyou Holiness subconsciously put aside the fishing rod and began stroking his beard in bafflement.
Taking the most conservative view, even if the Yundian Upper Realm thought that it couldn’t defeat its opponent, it would have come to the Three Saint Gates to get help…
It was strange that they neither fought nor came here to get help.
“I… em… also heard some rumors…” that disciple said.
“What rumors?!”
“It’s said that that shop has a poison technique called Internet Addiction,” the disciple reported, “Our spies heard of it from a casual conversation.”
“Once a cultivator touches it, they will get addicted and can only…”
“Only what!”
“Can only be cured by being struck by lightning!” the disciple said, “The reason that Junior Brother Feng Xi didn’t contract this poison was that he was struck by lightning… It proves what the rumors said.”
At a loss for words, Duyou Holiness’s old eyes looked confused.
…
Half City was like a poisonous tumor to the cultivators of the Morning Star Sea Realm as a whole.
However, they had to rely on this place sometimes to get the special items that they couldn’t get from other places.
“Ms. Xi, you’re here again?” In the auction house, a middle-aged man who was wearing a pale golden robe was fiddling with plants. He said impatiently, “I’ve told you that there’s no more space available for the low-level to middle-level items in the auction…”
Besides, who knows how much the so-called Magic Shield Spell Skill Book and Limitless Stick can sell for?
“Even if your father was here, the answer would be the same!”
“Executive Jin!” Xi Chenzhou walked in at this moment, and he said while his face twitched a little, “This seems off.”

He was displeased that Executive Jin, who had been accepting bribes from others, showed no respect to him today.
“What seems off? How can you say that?” Jin Wu had been bribed by the Feng Family of the Morning Star Sea Realm to sell some items that they obtained illegally, and he couldn’t return those items now that he already accepted the money. Also, he didn’t fear Xi Chenzhou.
“I think something is off as well!” Black Demon walked up.
“Sorry, Executive Jin, but I also think that something is off.” Tang Yuan walked up.
“Executive Jin, aren’t you going to show any respect to my White Dragon Office?” A white-robed cultivator walked up.
“Executive Jin!” Mo Tianxing also walked up. “I’m not a stranger in the inner city. Do you want me to make a big fuss over the whole thing?”
“Executive Jin!” A Divine Ocean Realm cultivator with great presence and a rare beast symbol embroidered on his chest also walked up.
“Executive Jin!” A chilly-eyed cultivator who was wearing a blood-red robe stood out.
“Executive Jin…”
A little more than ten big forces from the outer city and several forces from the inner city, including the White Dragon Office, all walked up.
“Perhaps you should think twice before you answer us.”
“Hahahaha!” Ruan Ning laughed so hard that her body shook. “Sister Xi Yue, look at that guy’s face!”
Mr. Fang rolled his eyes at her. “Look at your smug face…”
“Humph!” Ruan Ning pouted and showed him her smug face even more.
Jin Wu’s expression was fantastic. “What are you all doing here? Do you want to make trouble in the inner city?”
“Hurry up and register the items for us!” With so many people together, even the cultivators who usually didn’t dare to make rash moves in the inner city were emboldened.
“I want to buy a Summon Godly Beast Skill Book! Do you know how expensive it is?!”
“I want to sell the Bone Jade Staff, which is an one of a kind item on the whole server. Can you bear the consequences if something happens to it?”
“Do you know how much my Ice Roar Skill Book costs?! How dare you put it in the small auction house?!”
Jin Wu was at a loss for words.
What on earth are these damn things?!
“Executive Jin, what should we do now?” A black-clothed cultivator beside him asked.
Experienced in many situations, Jin Wu soon calmed down. “You must show me your stuff so that I can estimate their value, right?”
“Show you? Easy!” Black Demon waved his hand, and a layer of golden spiritual light emitted from his body and turned into a translucent golden spiritual light sphere. It looked much more solid than the spiritual light sphere created by spiritual artifacts.
“It’s a magic shield. Have you ever seen it before? Someone blocked attacks from Divine Ocean Realm cultivators with it already. Do you want to try, Executive Jin?”
“It can block the attack of a Divine Ocean Realm cultivator?”
When Xi Yue used it, this shield could only protect her from being killed by an attack from a True Lake Realm cultivator. However, in the hands of grand cultivators such as Black Demon, the shield had much greater power.
“How about the others?” Jin Wu finally began to put priorities on these items.
“Come with us, and you’ll see their value!” Tang Yuan of the Yuanheng Pavilion said.
“Right! You’ll understand after watching us play the Legend of Mir 2 for a few minutes!”
“Executive… What should we do with the Feng Family?” that black-clothed cultivator whispered to Jin Wu.
“Do you want me to offend so many forces in Half City?!” Executive Jin replied to this cultivator with a dark expression before saying to everyone else, “I’ll go and see if your items are truly as valuable as you claim!”

This story will have a large amount of characterization and slice of life moments. I did an insane amount of research for this and poured so much time in, not just militarily, but other basic necessity things as well. Fights will be bloody, magic will be rampant, and the slice of life moments will just warm you to the core. (actual kingdom building)

Gamer
This story is abandoned and has not been authorized for distribution on any sites but RoyalRoad. Given the Gamer ability after shattering a crystal inside a game, Jon's world is upturned as he is thrown into a life he considered fantasy. Making new enemies and encountering a god, he cannot escape the quest which is forced on him. Different worlds and different situations, can he come out on top? He's neither perfect nor a saint, he is Jon. Welcome to Gamer. This has been dropped, I didn't like the way I forced a few plotpoints and I lost my notes on the story itself. Read below if you want to be spoilered. As far as I recall, he would change race into a higher human after using a spell to overload his mana repeatably until his body forcibly adapts, he would train up his rift usage spell with some better targets than God's Realm because he keeps hitting his stats limit until the cost lowers enough that he can actually grind it. His world is being invaded by multiple worlds, so the god had many backup plans where a lot of people went into their own fantasy settings and came back to defend Earth. Jon never is the strongest one out there, he has to keep grinding and grinding before he gets stronger than the other heroes, and at that point the invasion is nearing the final stretch. Jon's two biggest advantages is that he can keep grinding without hitting a cap he can't evolve, and that even when he is eventually killed. He would have respawned in the nearest 'Safe Zone' after dropping a level and everything he did to gain that level. I also had a bunch of ideas for mini-arcs where he would play in multiple worlds in multiple situations, not that great of an idea in retrospect.
