Black Tech Internet Cafe System Chapter 297 – Friend Circle in QQ

“It’s just Plants vs Zombies!” Fang Qi opened the store for her. “Did you buy a computer?”
“I did.” After spending some time on growing vegetables, Su Tianji had grown from a penniless person who hurt inside when Mr. Fang stole one daikon from her to a well-to-do woman who could even afford a computer.
However, after she bought the computer, she found that she needed other related items to play.
“Good that you have it.” Fang Qi clicked open the store and showed her the item. “On the third page, you can buy the game disk of Plants vs Zombies. Then, I’ll show you how to install it.”
Soon, under Mr. Fang’s direction, a game logo appeared on the screen of Su Tianji’s computer after it finished installing; it showed one hand sticking out from the ground and grabbing a small flower.
“Ding Dong Ding Dong…”
With the familiar background music, the game started.
It resembled the original version except that the pictures were sillier and cuter, which was why it was cheap.
“Look! Fenghua! Is that a zombie? It’s so silly. Giggle…” Yuexin giggled while she watched the game from behind.
“That sunflower is so cute!” Fenghua said with a laugh, “I didn’t know that there were such games in the world!”
“Look at the wall-nut beside it. Hahaha! Its bulging eyes are so silly!”
Obviously, this game appealed to the girls.
A box appeared on the center of the screen: [Click to Start].
Su Tianji clicked it, and a red brick farmhouse appeared in the distance under the blue sky studded with white clouds. On the hill before the house was a tombstone, and there was only one option for now: [Adventure].

When Su Tianji clicked it open, they heard the zombie’s symbolic hoarse laughter as a dark green arm stuck out from the ground. The game began!
At the beginning of the game, there was a beginner’s manual. Su Tianji followed the instructions in the manual and put down a peashooter. Soon, the zombie came close.
The peashooter shot peas at the zombie one after another
“Giggle… this is so dumb!” Fenghua giggled while she watched it from behind. “They are both dumb! How come the zombies are so dumb!”
“This pea is so cute! I want to play it too…”
“This game is simple and silly!” Su Tianji said contemptuously while she played. “I just need to put down the peas and watch them shoot the zombies?”
Su Tianji waved her hand in boredom. “Okay! I know how to play it now. You’re free to go.”
Then, she murmured to herself, “What’s fun about this game? It’s boring!”
Fang Qi who had walked to the door paused, and he said while his face twitched, “You don’t have to play it if you don’t like it.”
“I wouldn’t play it if I didn’t need it to unlock things!” Su Tianji snorted. “Disciples, see off our guest!”
Then, she got busy planting the peashooters. After passing level 1, she got a wall-nut card.
“Ugh? Now, I can grow two plants?” Su Tianji clicked and picked up the card to activate level 2.
With the more items that she picked up, the game gradually went faster. It was clear that that the game was a bit more difficult than the original version. Su Tianji’s fingers clicked on the mouse rapidly as she clicked on the screen…
Sometime later, a message appeared. [Excellent! Congratulations to you for passing level 5! You rank No. 1 among your friends. Do you want to share this in the Friend Circle on QQ?]

[Accept!]
Su Tianji got a sense of achievement and thought that it wasn’t a big deal to share it.
Meanwhile, Mr. Fang had resumed playing the Legend of Mir 2.
Suddenly, a message shot out of QQ. [Your friend, Yuji Immortal, is playing Plants Vs. Zombies and passed level 5. She ranks No. 1 among all her friends. Come and have a look!]
“What’s this damn thing?!” His hand shook and almost hit Jiang Xiaoyue’s head.
“Sir! What are you doing?” Surprised, Jiang Xiaoyue jumped away like a bunny. “What’s Plants vs Zombies?!”
Obviously, she had also received the message in her QQ Friend Circle.
Her little face was full of curiosity.
A while later, another message jumped out of QQ, [Your friend, Yuji Immortal, is playing Plants Vs. Zombies and passed level 10. She ranks No. 1 among all her friends. Come and have a look!]
[Sister Su, what are you playing?]
[What is Plants vs Zombies?]
[How did you get No. 1 among friends?]
[Awesome!]
“Master… Can we play as well?” Fenghua and Yuexin watched the game eagerly behind her.
“Ugh… Let me pass two more levels!”
Replies filled her QQ, and the logo of the penguin jumped on her screen. She had received lots of messages.
The messages released in the Friend Circle can be seen by so many people? Su Tianji froze for a moment and replied to the people she was familiar with. [It’s just a small game in Qzone.]
[It sounds amazing.]
[Is it fun?]
[Can I watch you play?]
Su Tianji soon received replies.
[Your friend, Yuji Immortal, invites you to enter her Qzone.]
Nalan Mingxue, Dong Qingli, Xu Zixin, Ye Xiaoye, and many other girls were invited to watch Su Tianji play Plants vs Zombies.
Of course, Xue Daolv, the Liuyun Daoist Palace Master, was also invited into her place, as were Ye Songtao and the others.
A large group of people stood behind Su Tianji and watched her place the wall-nuts to the front, sunflowers to the back, and then filling the screen with peashooters.
The grandmasters watching the game from behind froze in confusion.
What on earth is this thing?!
“Is this Plants vs Zombies?!” Xue Daolv was feeling awkward, regretting that he had wasted his precious computer time, which cost crystals for every minute, on this stuff.
Ye Songtao said, “Ugh… I’ve something to tend to. I’ve got to go now!”
However, the girls’ reactions were different.
“Sister Su, how do we play this game? It’s so cute!”
“Do you need this game to unlock the high-level spiritual plants?” Dong Qingli said, “I remember that several special plant seeds need this game to be unlocked.”
“Hahaha! Look at this squash’s expression! It’s so funny!”
Nalan Mingxue said, “It’s indeed cute. Maybe I’ll play it too.”
“Boss.” Jiang Xiaoyue looked at Fang Qi eagerly. “Can I borrow your computer? I want to play the game too…”
Fang Qi’s face turned dark. “Aren’t you growing vegetables each day? Where’s your money?”
Since Su Tianji could buy a computer, how come this girl couldn’t afford a computer?!
“Those oranges and daikon are delicious, and I ate them when they matured…” Jiang Xiaoyue said in embarrassment.
Fang Qi was at a loss for words.
This girl ate all of her produce!
Mr. Fang could only say, “You are high maintenance!”
He glanced at the task list and saw a piece of good news; the number of players of the little game, Qzone, had reached 32, and it was still growing.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Khaldir's Observer
Markus Kuberski, a 21-year-old mechanical engineering student at the Vienna University of Technology and a weeb, is bored by life. He has no girlfriend he cannot meet up with his friends because there is another Covid-lockdown and getting a side-job is also unsuccessful. Therefore, he has started to write a web novel. “If I cannot be the main character with magical powers and a harem full of cute girls in real life then I will create my own universe and be its protagonist.” Although that has been his first thought, he neither dare to use himself as the main character’s template nor write a harem story. “I am not that desperate!” he muses to himself. Little does he know that he will get more than he asked for when a mighty existence becomes interested in his story and makes it a reality. Hello, this is my first attempt at creating something like a novel. English is also not my native language, so expect some grammar and punctuation issues. I am using Grammarly to help myself in this regard, but in some areas, the free app cannot correct everything. There is currently no fixed schedule, although I believe that two chapters per week should be reasonable. Depending on how much time I have, I can write more.
